We were using pdf share forms to build custom Forms in SharePoint to drive business processes. We were trying to replace the infopath custom forms we previously had

Pros

The product is fairly easy to use without needing to have developer level experience. It makes building custom forms in SharePoint quick.

Cons

There are some basic features like people picker that are not available or are very lacking in comparison to competitor products and out of the box SharePoint forms.

Being able to access PD forms from within Sharepoint makes it easier for individuals to see content

Pros

The PDF plugin for Sharepoint is very easy to use. It is seamless and integrates into any sharepoint site.

Cons

I don't like how the software opens up in a new window. It would be nice if it could open inside the website that is displaying it.

Pros

Sharing contracts and approvals are such a time saver. The whole process is very straightforward and you know when contracts are approved and there is no more waiting.

Cons

There are always going to be little things we would like different like different layouts or small functional options but they would be to minor to even mention. Unrelated to the software, I think it is always a little unnerving when you are sending documents especially ones with personal information.

We managed to improve handling of order forms significantly with this product. The idea was to connect forms to SQL database where we store all our SKUs and let our customer fill in forms and pick exactly what they need from dropdowns populated from SQL

We've been running PDF Share Forms for some months now and overall we are very happy with the service. It's pretty easy to use as long as you spend a little time thinking it through when setting it up and having a clear vision of what your document management should look like.

This tool made our technical's team life super easy. We use Ipads for field work and fill forms offline. Adding attachments like photos of objects that survey or receipts for travel expenses for our internal forms for accounting significantly reduce paperwork in our office. Highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a serious forms solution that also works offline and support attachments.

I spent a while searching for a solution that can bring PDF forms and SharePoint together in a meaningful way and not just like plain documents, but none of them came close to PDF Share Forms. We have converted all our paper forms to PDF and put the in our business workflows. The whole document management system runs like well-oiled machine.

This solutions is great! We use it as webforms for customer service. Our users can fill in the forms with prepolulated fields for easy navigation and quick feedback. Tech support guys are happy as well as they get structured information about user problems that they can analyze later in SharePoint and build tech reports and product guides for the most common issues.

I manage office operations at Marrine marina and boat rentals. PDF Share Forms cloud product allowed us to skip buying an expensive CRM product. We use public forms on our website mapped to SharePoint Online. All the information from contact request and other inquiries goes to predefined libraries making contact management very easy. The only downside is a lack of forms designer for the cloud version at the moment. I heard an updated version is coming later this year and it is going to include the designer. I hope they won't charge extra for that.

My company provides commercial property security services. Mainly surveillance, alarms and patrolling. We use PDF Share Forms to generate response and patrol team reports fast and eliminate errors. It is vital for us and our clients to know the details in case of emergency like: what team responded to signal, what time it happened, who was the shift manager, what is the property's address and etc. All our response team cars have built in computers with 4G internet connection that allows reaching our SharePoint site with forms with some prepopulated data. It takes a couple of clicks to generate a report that looks like a proper presentable document and automatically send it to the shift manager for review. Shift manager verifies the document, signs it and the workflow automatically sends it to the client. Nice and simple! Before we implemented this product manual report management was taking far too much time and was susceptible for human errors. Now having a backlog of reports to send to clients is a thing of the past.

It has been over a year since I started using PDF Share Forms and it has never failed me. What I like the most is that I am certain that our legal documents are signed and archived as PDFs automatically when we process them. We have very strict private information handling policies at work and PDF Share Forms together with properly configured workflows and approvals ensure that only certain people can see certain parts of the forms when the form is being directed from one person to another. It is cheaper to use PDF Share Forms for confidential information management than paying lawyers.

Our company is a group of highly professional electronic engineers that specialize in lighting systems. We build and design lighting projects ranging from one bedroom apartments to stadiums. Another important aspect of our business is consulting and training and this is where we wanted to step up our game. At same point it has become a real pain to manage internal training for our staff and external training for customers and gather feedback. The management has decided that it would be more practical to invest into PDF Share Forms rather than hire more office people to admin training scheduling and documentation. We also plan to implement this solution in other aspect of the business in the near future. Thanks to PDF Share Forms we managed to automate a lot of processes and put them in one solid workflow. Trainees can easily access training application forms in our SharePoint environment or on our website if they are external users, fill in the forms where they can see the availability of training sessions and book dates. After the training they automatically receive feedback forms that then are routed to trainers for assessment and reporting for higher managers. This really helped to avoid scheduling conflicts, monitor workload for trainers and asses their performance and also gave us a lot of insight on how we can improve our training practices. Cons: Not everything was out of the box and it took some tinkering to set SP workflows and add some custom code. Luckily all tools are there and the support team was very helpful.

My small startup company specializes in consulting businesses that are looking for InfoPath replacement. Fillable and easily shareable forms are vital to any document management systems in any organization. MS InfoPath was a solution of choice for many business till the announcement of the end of support for InfoPath. We took these news as a business opportunity and started to look at potential options for InfoPath replacement. PDF Share Forms stood out as a product with the richest functionality compared to similar products. It cannot replace Microsoft's dying product completely, but what it has to offer right now is already quite impressive. Transition period for InfoPath users can take some time to get used to the product like PDF Share Forms, but I belie it is a good thing overall. It is based on the PDF document format that everyone is familiar with and it makes it more sense to new users. The only complaint would be lack of supporting materials like guides and How-to's. Sometimes we had to ask developers to prepare custom guides for us.

We are an interior design studio. We use PDF Share Forms for our website as rich quote request forms . Handling attachments was a very important feature to us because we encourage our clients to send us pictures of their current interior that they want to have redesigned. Picture attachments allow us to make fair quotes and provide immediate feedback to customers. I also really like that you can use dynamic elements such as dropdowns that are linked to sharepoint lists, that are updated constantly with new items and you don't have to redo your forms each time there are changes in the list. Having customer request data easily available in sharepoint for research is great as we always keep an aye on trends to stay ahead of the curve. A minor Con is that setting dynamic elements required some digging into the guides and manuals and was not super intuitive. However, when we figured everything out there were no issues. Anita

Our requirements for the forms solution were quite simple. We needed something better than standard SharePoint forms with the ability to extract data to lists and prepopulate forms with data from libraries. We have contacted several companies that provide such solutions and PDF Share Forms have provided a better deal. The only reason I can't give it 5 stars overall - we have encountered a couple of bugs. Luckily, they were not critical to our tasks. Hugo

Our company provides consultancy for construction firms. We do security and safety checks, making sure that all the processes follow legal regulations. PDF Share Forms helped us to achieve what we wanted for a long time - allow our inspectors to submit reports in electronic form from their laptops or handhelds. It helped a lot to cut time between receiving data and presenting reports to our clients. However, there we some challenges before we managed to set everything up. Our reports are generally multiple pages long and automatic field mapping is somewhat lacking. Some additional features were not available out of the box and we had to do custom scripting. Overall great product, but it took longer to set everything up than we anticipated.

After Microsoft has announced InfoPath retirement we started looking for alternatives, as we were thinking for switching to a different product for quite a while. We trialed a couple of products and settled with this one. It is certainly much more user friendly than that InfoPath monster that requires some IT knowledge. Of course, it can not completely replace InfoPath, but we actually have never used the whole arsenal of the Microsoft's product anyway. But for our purposes, simple request forms, it is a perfect tool.

As a part of a document management system upgrade in the office we needed a way to keep our old forms but integrate them with SharePoint. PDF Share Forms came in very handy. With some forms and processes we required help from their support team, but it was handled fast and professional. Overall this is a great product.
