Always very friendly and helpful staff. Issued a dedicated account manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], who walked us through every step of the system from beginning to end. When questions came up that required more technical assistance, she would schedule meetings with specialists in the software. We also enjoyed the look and feel of both the online platform and the mobile app.

Pros

The look and feel of the product and the superb support from the vFairs team. Our attendees and sponsors both enjoyed the experience with the event app.

Cons

Some of the basic reporting we wanted from the system had to have custom reports created or couldn't provide all the info we wanted in 1 report. We had 2 options for Live Streaming services we could use through vFairs for our event, and we were guided to use one that couldn't give us the features we needed.

We loved our experience so much that I referred the vFairs team over to colleagues at DSG who execute other events and they are currently locking down an agreement for 7 events!

Pros

Highly attentive, responsive and always willing to give as much time as we needed to achieve the desired outcomes.

Cons

We did not have any true cons other than an initial struggle to log in on the backend to make edits on our own.

We've worked with vFairs for 5+ years on an series of events & a big yearly event and I'm sure it's one of the most customised they have - yet they're always willing to hear feedback, implement new features etc - no request is too big!

Overall, it was very pleasant. I felt like everyone, especially \[sensitive content hidden\] was very helpful and made it an easy process.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] was awesome! She was very quick to respond, troubleshoot and provide resolutions or answers. It was a great way for us to manage our event, Hanger LIVE Virtual.

Cons

The only thing I didn't love was when I was building the booths and adding graphics, it was difficult to get them to fit properly in the template "squares". I am not sure if I need to know the exact sizes so they fit better next time or if there is a different way to upload them so they fit better. But the ones that fit did look really good! I made it work and at the end of the day everyone was happy with how they looked. And \[sensitive content hidden\] made it easy to set up all of our exhibitor booths and showed me how to do it in advance, and helped us to gather info from the exhibitors.

\[sensitive content hidden\] a were absolutely fantastic! From the start, they made me feel welcomed and understood. This was our first time using vFairs, and they guided me through every step of the process, providing ample training for our staff and vendors. They were genuinely invested in making the experience the best it could be for us—whether it was implementing new programs, offering additional reporting, additional one-on-ones and more! I couldn’t have navigated this transition without \[sensitive content hidden\]'s knowledge, patience, and support. She was a true shining star, and I couldn’t have asked for a better Project Manager.

Pros

vFairs is a user-friendly event platform that uses fresh and relevant technology, which made our event a huge success! The team we worked with was exceptionally engaged, highly knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. The reporting provided afterwards was in-depth and priceless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Cons

We encountered a few hiccups with logins, entering allowances, and tracking points in our QR Code Scavenger Hunt. However, each issue was promptly addressed, and I don’t anticipate them being problems in the future.

Pros

Thank you so much to the VFAIRS team, but particularly to \[sensitive content hidden\], who has continually gone above and beyond for our event. It was our first time partnering with a third party for an event for our client, and to be honest, I was really nervous about how everything would work. \[sensitive content hidden\] was there day and night to answer questions from both us and the client side, and nothing was too much trouble. He was incredibly polite and always accommodating, even with continually changing requests, which must have been challenging at times. His professionalism, calm manner, and proactive approach made the entire experience smooth, successful, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone involved.

Cons

nothing comes to mind but if the app could be a free add on this would be ideal as many candidates use apps these days

Pros

For the third year in a row, vFairs served as the platform for NDI’s virtual Disability Owned Convening. Accessibility was the top priority for NDI when selecting a platform for this event. From the outset, vFairs recognized this need and collaborated closely with us to make sure every feature was as accessible as possible. We were truly impressed by their expertise and dedication to accessibility. Furthermore, \[sensitive content hidden\] and her team were extremely responsive, demonstrated a deep understanding of the platform, and delivered outstanding customer service.

Cons

Some of the platform's features not fully accessible so were not available to us. However, this didn't impact performance.

Despite the time and location difference, my overall experience with vFairs was positive. There was a bit of a learning curve that sometimes led to frustration, but our account manager was always willing to assist. He provided demonstrations of various processes and/or reached out to the vFairs development team to ascertain the best method to help us with some of the more tedious tasks. Many thanks to \[sensitive content hidden\] who is a true asset to the company.

Pros

I appreciated the working relationship that quickly developed between the senior project manager, \[sensitive content hidden\] other vFairs personnel, and our organization's team. He set up a regular virtual meeting cadence to assist us and was accessible via email as well.

Cons

Trying to get documents/videos to show on the mobile app was a bit challenging; however, this was soon alleviated. Our account manager,\[sensitive content hidden\] continued to step up to the plate to ensure our delegates had access to conference material.

Pros

The flexibility of allowing us to brand our event in any way that we want. I like that we can remove what we don't use and add things we need - like an extra room or hall.

Cons

I wish I could do more of the backend things instead of requesting to be done. Most things I can do, but when it comes to graphics etc., it would be easier to do them.

It was a great learning experience, and has cool features that elevated our events. However, we had a few issues with communications with our Project Manager. There were also a few glitches that really dissapointed us during the designing of the websites phase. It would be great to see vFairs expand the graphic designs, and templates implemented on the event websites for event administrators.

Pros

The customization capabilities, and control for email communication customizations pre, during, and post event. It's a nice elevated event experience for attendees.

Cons

The production turnaround time for certain features and graphic modifications. We were dissapointed to find out that a vFairs developer had to do the graphic updates/changes. We had to wait 1-2 days for that to get done. We were hoping to be able to control that, so it's a quicker turnaround update for our attendees, which really impacts the event outcome.

Having a dedicated project manager who knows the event well and what your company are wanting to achieve is excellent, as it is so important to have one dedicated person and not "go round the houses" each time you need to discuss an aspect of the event. \[sensitive content hidden\] was able to respond to our organisation's needs in a timely way.

Cons

There were some miscommunications around expectations of the platform's capabilities from the initial demo call.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] has been an outstanding support partner throughout our customer meeting set-up process. She is always responsive and professional and handles requests with ease—even under pressure. Her expertise and reliability have made a huge difference in getting this launched on a timely basis.

Cons

I would prefer that vFair set up the web blocks and let the customer be able to edit text as needed to help speed up the process. Minor changes had to be constantly rerouted to team, when it would have taken a simple step to correct ourselves, this increased our timelines.

Pros

The quick customer service and value for money. Our client doesn't liek to spend loads on platforms as they are a charity so this works really well.

Cons

Having to make changes through people and not being able to go in and change it myself. would be good to be able to make small changes.

I want to give a special shoutout to \[sensitive content hidden\], our project manager, for the phenomenal support she has provided the Generis team. She works tirelessly to ensure our event apps are the best they can be, and we're so appreciative of her training and support. Aroosa is the best!

Pros

Very customizable, visually stunning product! App is quite user friendly on the front-end for attendees. Love the QR code scanning feature. Support team is fantastic!

Cons

The back-end can be buggy/laggy at times (when we try to work with the code ourselves, and upload speakers/users), but the support team has been eager to help us remedy these issues

My overall experience has been very easy and transformative for our food shows! They are accommodating to all of your ideas and flexible when needed. We have weekly meetings to help keep us all on our timeline. The team is very responsive as well.

Pros

V-Fairs is very accommodating and flexible! If you have a unique idea, they will make sure it happens! I also love how all of your previous events are saved. It makes the next event that much easier.

Cons

Still working on the negotiation/allowance side of our event. I would love for the vendors to have the ability to talk just to V-Fairs on questions instead of going through me as a middleman.

Only that we were very dependent on \[sensitive content hidden\] for many registration revisions. But he was quick to respond, so it was ok. I just felt bad having to request so much of him.

The product is a 4 but my experience is a 5! \[sensitive content hidden\] answered all of our questions, and we had a lot of them, and quickly implemented any requests we made that were possible within vFairs capabilities.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\]! Plus, the ease of being able to copy a site then edit it for a new event.

Cons

The backend reporting. With Stova, we were able to pull reports to see who was sent the registration invite and more easily edit registrations, if need be.

The team at VFairs, Hamda, Sidrah, and Faha,has been absolutely outstanding to work with. Their responsiveness to our organization's needs is exceptional, and they go above and beyond to ensure we have everything necessary for a seamless and successful Virtual Conservation Career Fair. Their professionalism and attention to detail have made all the difference in creating a smooth experience for us. The platform itself is amazing, too, allowing easy use and an engaging experience for our attendees and exhibitors.

Cons

Needing to understand how to best utilize the platform updates earlier on - there were a lot of great updates this year that I should have had a better hold on before the fair.

Can't say enough good things about the project team.

Pros

The team! \[sensitive content hidden\] is our stellar project manager. She is easy to work with, highly responsive, willing to answer all our minutia questions, record video instructions, and make things very simple for us as administrators. We had an extremely fast turnaround for our first event, which was also our first event with vFairs, and she & her team could not have been more accommodating and helpful, especially given our timeline.

Cons

The back end is quite complicated, so we relied fully on the project team to get things done - which was not an issue because of how helpful they were - but would like to be able to do more on my own in an intuitive way without spending a ton of time learning how.

Interactive and user friendly. Our event participants are generally happy to have this app along the event.

Cons

So far i'm quite satisfied with the app. The only thing i noticed is the chat function: people's name get displayed but the chat window is empty, which can be confusing.
