March 2, 2026 5.0 I am able to instantly push product data and to Shopify and our WMS has saved me hours in time and also virtually eliminates inconsistancies in the data between systems. I am able to create Brand Portals in seconds which can be shared with the wider business without compromising on protected data - they only see what I want them to see. We have had terrific customer support from the team who have been ready and able to help us whenever needed. I use this tool every day and it's been so easy from the get-go. When we implemented, I was only the data custodian, however as the team has changed I've also been looking after the techical side which has been very easy to learn and integrate with our existing systems. Cons There are not enough checks and balances for my liking. I'd like to be able to make some fields mandetory for upload. It lets me store a huge image in Plytix, but send a smaller version of that same image through Shopify. Cons I find the product view and list a bit confusing. I hope it will be better in the next update, since there is a lot of update in . Now is the 'point of truth' for our website, ERP and CRM systems. Plytix was a great solution to help us manage our products and ultimately provide the knowledge and information that our customers have requested from us. Pros The layout and ease of use - everything just makes sense. I find this platform to be very intuitive, and whenever I was stumped, I would check the Help Center for guidance. Cons Implementing a new system forced us to really look at the integrity of our data - it was a challenge to gather and sort and check our product information. The one area that I wish had a bit more depth was the structure - we have products that come in different sizes, materials and colours and had to choose which was the dominant field when establishing the relationships between products. But it's not a big deal - the team was able to advise how best to make that happen. It was very easy to set up and we had our first connection with our website within a few days. Cons There are many little features that could be improved but the main one is the inability to change imported values in a spread sheet (such as appending text to a column) and all work must be done in the spread sheet first. They have computed attributes for their exports, but would be good to have something similar for their imports too. Pros has significantly improved our workflow thanks to its flexibility and speed of development. It's extremely user-friendly, making it easy to find and manage our data. One major advantage is the cost—it’s more affordable than its main competitors, offering great value. Uploading and managing assets like product images is seamless. We can easily link files without having to upload them multiple times, which saves us a lot of time and effort. Each team can define their own completeness criteria for filling in product data, which is incredibly helpful. It ensures that everyone focuses on what matters most to their responsibilities, while still maintaining consistency across the board. The team is always trying to develop the platform in way to make our lives easier! Pros We have a huge catalogue of products of over 9000 products, what I like the most about it is that it has gathered all the scattered data we have in drive, ERP system in one place, now we have all the data of the products, all the digital assets, all the marketing material, pricing , stock and the files and technical data sheets of the products under one umbrella and in one place. It made our lives much easier and made the work much faster, it takes now a minute to export all the required data we might need for our wholesale clients or for our retails and e-commerce customers. It will be more helpful and useful in the future and also can develop a distinct function. Moving from a siloed e-commerce model to a product-data ubiquity model has freed us from the development overhead and delays previously incurred whenever a new data-model required fulfillment. Now we can move fast. We can be nimble, testing new opportunities at nearly zero cost. Experientially, the Plytix Team has been remarkable to collaborate with. Everyone is an expert. Everyone seems to be sincerely invested in our successes and willing to dig-in to respond to our specific needs. It's an impressive team they've built. Pros The centralization of all product information into a single, easily maintainable, data-source that is both extremely flexible and very robust. The ease with which I'm able to then live-feed our product data to internal and external systems is also remarkable. Over all, I like best that simplified my life. We now have an "authoritative source" for all product data and it's portable to wherever we need it. A very impressive platform. Cons Developers in the USA that have experience with is somewhat limited, as compared to something large like SAP Product Content Hub.
