Pros: I started using LMH as my client base grew. I love how I can add one client and then add multiple projects. I have one a few clients that specifically want to know how much time was spent on a certain task and LMH is great for this, especially when it comes to reports. I like the option to round out the times, and especially like the adding documents to invoices and reports. Comes in handy for receipts. I enjoy the options of seeing how many hours in previous months was spent with a client from the dashboard, so I don't have to go back to reports or emails to see what was submitted. Creating invoices is a breeze and logging payments is helpful. You really get a lot for the small price you pay. The mobile app is awesome as well, for busy people on the go. I travel a lot, so being able to track on the go is key.

Cons: I honestly cannot think of one thing that I have found lacking about this program.

Overall: Having a service track your hours, so when it comes time to reporting and invoicing is a dream. I no longer have to track manually on a calendar. I really enjoy how I can break clients down into projects and get a true perspective of how much time a project or event takes. They appreciate it as well. I can easily sit down on the first of each month and run a report for the previous month and have all my clients done in a very short amount of time.

Pros: I most appreciate the timer feature on the timesheets view. I can simply click a button, say what time I started, and it calculates how long I spent since that time and when I remembered to turn it on. I also like the customization options available for various functions of the software. You can customize a vast majority of the important things like hourly rates and most project details without a paid subscription. The support is also excellent when you have it, though it may not be available to the free tier after the initial trial period. If you want to work as a contractor and need to track your own time and fees for a client, then this is a good way to get into that realm, even if you are somewhat unfamiliar with freelancing in general.

Cons: I have found that there is some limitation on what views and file types you can export. I would really appreciate additional export options for invoices, so that I can send them as a spreadsheet with expenses included in the same file as the hours.

Overall: I have been enabled in my efforts to stay productive while searching for more permanent employment. If I didn't have LogMyHours.com, it would be very tedious to report my time promptly and accurately to clients. The straightforward and customizable approach is great for me, and I hope to see expanded functionality going forward.

Pros: I was using Freshbooks and was looking for a better option because they kept increasing their prices. As a small business consultant, I have many different clients which I was previous to that just using a spreadsheet to track. I upgraded to Freshbooks but couldn't believe how much they were charging for what I felt were basic features. LMHs was the best option out there that does the same and more than Freshbooks, and the developer is always upgrading it and adding features that keep it ahead of the curve.

Cons: None! I was very impressed with the Dashboard, Timesheets, Invoicing, etc.

Overall: Amazing. Developer was quick to answer my questions, quick to fix an issue.

Pros: Excellent time tracking, and I love that the notes from each work session show up on the invoice. It has the flexibility to track time however I need to. Excellent software, and great flexibility.

Cons: Other than features that haven't been built yet, there's no drawback to LMH. Everything I want it to do is either built or coming soon.

Overall: Great experience overall. The product gives me the ability to track employees hours, and allows me to enter plenty of detail for clients. It is exactly what I needed. Customer service is stellar, and I couldn't be happier as a customer.

Pros: The ease of use, the responsiveness of the support team, and the ability to easily manage multiple projects simultaneously. I can use my PC, my tablet, or my phone to make entries for billable hours and/or expenses

Cons: All issues that I had with the software (e.g., the inability to attach some pdf files to expenses) were resolved well within 24 hours (usually within 8 hours, or less)! At the moment, I have no dislikes and highly recommend this tool!

Overall: LogMyHours.com is allowing me to accurately track and bill customers for hours and expenses, and manage multiple projects within a particular client company, and also for other clients without conflict or confusion.

Pros: I have been using Log My Hours for 3 years now and it is amazingly easy to use. It keeps up with invoices, logs your time, allows you to add retainer funds for when clients pay you in advance. This is the best software out there for the money.

Cons: Nothing, this software does everything I need it to do.

Overall: Great customer support. If you have a question they are always there to help.

Pros: The software allows hours to be tracked in a variety of ways. Invoices can be easily created and sent to clients.

Cons: Putting categories in place can be confusing and is not straightforward.

Pros: Ease of use, affordable pricing, detailed reports, compatible with multiple clients.

Cons: No block timer capability - cannot plug in 10 hours and charge against that 10 hour block, showing percentage of time used. Would make life with multiple client hours easier!

Overall: I've been impressed with LogMyHours in the past year that I've used it. I'm an independent contractor so it's very easy to do all of my time tracking in this one software. Rep is super helpful and involved in the client experience as well, which shows his care for his company and clients!

Pros: I love how clear it is to understand how much billable work I am doing. It is easy to add new projects & clients and also employees. The invoicing is great as well!

Cons: There is honestly nothing I do not like. I like everything about it.

Overall: It gives me a clear picture of how much work I need to do to accomplish my goals.

Clunky UI and poor performance mean I spend more time fighting with the app than getting stuff done.

Pros: It is nice to have hours logged before an invoice or report needs to be generated. When the time comes, all my data is in the app and I can just extract/report from there.

Cons: The tool can be confusing to use and takes up a lot of time (many steps and slow page speeds), so I feel like I spend just as much time fighting with the app as I would getting work done. It is almost like I need to build in extra time in my day just for getting the app to work (which is counter to the entire reason we have the app in the first place).

Pros: It allows me to track the hours I bill clients, set-up projects and manage invoices all in one place. I was even able to set-up retainers.

Cons: I with there was a task list or ticketing software that allows me to times to a specific task outside of a project.

Overall: I have had great support from the team at logmyhours.com They have worked hard to make my experience an excellent one. I have and will continue to recommend this product to others.

Pros: Very intuitive, easy reporting features.

Cons: Would like the timesheet to jump to the current day.

Pros: The reporting feature, able to have multiple projects under the same company and differentiate tasks.

Cons: Able to automatically close a project when month is complete

Overall: I switched to LogMyHours after using some other time trackers with my CRM. I enjoy the ease of use and the reporting feature that I can send to my clients so they can see exactly how much time I'm using throughout the month.

Cons: I have not found any cons at this time.

Overall: I use LogMyHours for my virtual assistant services. I've tried other time logging websites, but LogMyHours is by far the easiest to use and the most affordable for my small business budget.

Pros: The software is great as I start my new consulting company and need to keep my hours straight. I especially love the quick start feature and dashboard the program creates! So easy when it comes to billing time.

Cons: The way the clients and projects are set up are a bit clunky. I'm thinking this will resolve itself in time but for now to enter a client is different than a project and often times they're one in the same. It won't deter me from continuing with LMH though.

Overall: The largest issue its resolved is billing. I can now be even more exact, further earning my clients' trust.
