An awesome experience overall that was very positive, enjoyable, and memorable from start to finish.

Pros

Being able to post live updates prior to and during the event to keep participants informed, engaged, and up to date in real time.

Everything was perfect and very useful, with no real negative points to mention at all, as the overall experience fully met expectations and was well organized.

Great option for our price point and bandwidth. I believe that it will really elevate our event, and love that our volunteers were able to set it up without countless work.

Pros

The app was in our budget, and very user-friendly for us to set up. We are an all-volunteer organization, so this is a fabulous addition to make our conference professional and relevant to attendees. It is so much easier to manage than using a free platform like Band, as we have tried in the past.

Cons

Having never used an app, there was a small learning curve to figure out how to import, but it was manageable.

No bugs or issues with the program. Our attendees enjoyed using it and found it useful as well as fun.

An easy to learn and easy to use program that is pretty comprehensive, giving us most of the front-end features of far more expensive programs.

Cons

Not a lot of analytics or the ability to prioritize sponsors based on their contribution levels, but not a major hindrance for our convention.

I love all of the app sections that make it easy for event attendees to easily find what they are looking for and places for the developers to put information.

Pros

The easy to use/edit/update. The interface online and on the app is user friendly for the app creator and the app user.

Cons

I wish there were more customization design options availble. There is only one layout style avalible and would be nice to have more.

The price is spot-on for our meetings, and the app’s ease of use is perfect for our events. We’ve tried complex platforms before, and staff spent too much time helping attendees download and navigate. Not with Yapp, we share a QR code, and attendees download and get started immediately. As we go paperless, having an app as intuitive as a paper agenda is exactly what we needed.

Pros

Its easy to build each of my meetings (5 per year) and its easy for my attendees to gain access to the app and navigate the agenda.

Cons

You might have already this feature and we're just not aware, but sponsors would like a lead generator option.

Overall this is a very good app, it works well and is affordable. The set up is easy and is easy to share and download.

Pros

For the price it is a good designable site. Easy to work with. Simple design and clear instructions on how to set up.

Cons

Not as pretty as the expensive apps, need to do everything yourself. It is easier to have someone else design, but that costs more.

Overall, I am pleased. It is easy to learn and easy to use. As an admin, I wish we could make changes on the app. I won't have my laptop with me all the time and I would like to change items as needed. (Maybe someone's name is misspelled, or we need to add info to a bio.)

Pros

Overall, Yapp is an easy-to-use app. I like that it is user-friendly and doesn't require a big learning curve. It has the tools needed to promote our event, which is exactly what we need. I like how we can showcase our agenda and let attendees know in advance what to expect at our conference.

Cons

I had trouble loading logos to our agenda page. I wanted to add sponsor logos under the description and had trouble on a few. It would help to indicate what format they should be in and have a way to edit the logo size. I also noticed that when I wanted to edit a few pages, there were banners across the wording I needed (for example, the date of my event was always over the word "edit") Some of the information we added didn't always save. We started hitting "publish" after each save to ensure the info was saved.

It was a great experience! It was very easy to navigate from both the end-user and administrative perspectives. I also loved being able to get real-time data about session feedback. We will definitely utilize this platform next year!

Pros

With a limited budget for a small symposium, the app was exactly what we were looking for! It really helped provide our attendees with the most up-to-date information about vendors, speakers, and activities.

Cons

While most of our attendees had no issue downloading and setting up the app, some had trouble, such as being asked for payment or being asked for unnecessary information. Once we figured out to send them directly to the app store, we did not have those issues. I'm not sure if it was from our QR code or just a few hiccups during the rollout of new technology.

I love how easy it is to upload different tracks into the scheduling tab as well as to upload spondors, employees, update cover pages, etc.

Pros

I still love that I can schedule announcements and that once the time zone is set, they can be scheduled for the event's time zone. I love the scheduling tool too!

Cons

I wish as an admin I could create the scheduled announcement posts within the desktop instead of on a mobile device.
