Pros: Ease of use by staff, great reports, simple to implement, easy to train and use product, little or no downtime.

Cons: My clients have to click and download reports or log in to see reports, they would prefer to just open a PDF file sent out to them as an attachment.

Overall: Streamlined, standard reporting across the board.

Pros: It's nice that they guards can upload pictures to confirm their whereabouts or to document an incident or hazard.

Cons: It's a little outdated and not very intuitive. The software seems very 90s but it does get the job done.

Pros: Being able to provide our customers with daily reports in real time is very beneficial to the success of our company. Tracking the guards when managers need to find them is also another reason Silvertrac is a vital tool in the security guard industry.

Cons: We were having issues with the software reception and the new phones and had to resort to a beta system.

So far its pretty good, could use some more tweaking (like everything)

Pros: Silvertrac seems to be a great tracking and accountability tool. Being able to track guards through their shift, and being able to provide that to the customer as requested in invaluable and helps keep management team smaller but able to do more. The DARs it can generate are clean and detailed and saves the guards time from repetitively writing the same thing over and over.

Cons: Needs more control on the automated task assignments and the notifications of them not being completed. Also needs a management app and a quick view of last checkpoint time gap separated by property, so at a glance, a manager can see something is up with the guard.

Adopted the service through another company and have been impressed with the quality of the service

Pros: Easy to use and train guards on.
The live updates on the website for monitoring.
The customer service and improvements they are always making.

Cons: No constant GPS monitoring while the guards are on duty to ensure they are on site during the assigned shift.

Overall: Easy and simple reporting and monitoring.

The software allows me to keep an accurate account of what's really happening in the field.

Pros: It gives our client peace of mind knowing that our staff is doing what they hired us to do. I like various features of the software and the ability to run numerous reports. The GPS feature is great, along with the ability to create issue types which are relevant to each site.

Cons: I wish it were a little more flexible. There are various points in the software that could run more smoothly if we were able make small adjustments. When I contacted customer service I was told "no we can't do that". It seemed like an easy fix and it would have really helped me out. I don't recall what the issue was at this moment though.

Overall: Better accountability.

I feel the modification or changing of checkpoints and issues to be a little clunky.

Pros: I like that I can have photos attached to reports and that issues can be emailed. Also, the portability and connectivity of the app

Cons: I can't group checkpoints together with an issue so that missed checkpoints trigger a "missed checkpoint" report. We have patrols that cover up to 19 checkpoints. I have to go through a report and manually figure out which ones were missed on a patrol.

Overall: Ability to keep track of what is happening on eve and night shifts and review with officers.

Excellent! SilverTrac makes running my business a breeze.

Pros: SilverTrac makes it easy to manage my employees in the field and to generate much needed reports to maintain smooth business operation.

Cons: I have encountered some bugs here and there with the behind-the-scenes configurement of my properties, but it is functional. Suggest some GUI upgrades in that area.

Pros: Very easy to add new accounts and for the guards to use! The best thing is the customers love it and don't get confused as they did with previous systems we used.

Overall: We have stopped using paper reports and were able to get rid of many file cabinets in the office freeing up space for another office for a supervisor.

Works well for what we need it for.

Pros: We use silvertrac on a daily basis and all the officers find it very easy to use with little to no trouble.

Cons: We as a Security team have not had any issues that we have found yet. Everything we use Silvertrac for works perfect for our Security department.

Pros: Easy to use and easy to set up. My clients love the software and it's easily customizable. Easy to customize qr codes to include videos and etc. the representative and his team really listen to their customers. The customer rep always addresses any questions and values his customer feedback. The cons I listed below he is working on a solution.

Cons: Reports should be sent more than once a day. I would like to see some more options to add notes after the qr codes is scanned besides adding another security issues.

Overall: Makes my daily work life easier.

Silvertrac has definitely helped us with customer retention and employee accountability.

Pros: The best thing that Silvertrac has done for us is RETAIN CUSTOMERS. The GPS tracking and timestamped photos has definitely built credibility into our services. Also, makes it easy to verify "lone officer" posts with photos, timestamping, and GPS tracking reports. And, the ease of use and easy to train new personnel on the system. Within a few minutes any employee who uses a mobile device can learn Silvertrac in a few short training minutes. There are more pros, but these are my top 3. We cannot see our business without it!

Cons: It's not a deal breaker, but some upgrades or updates are not as quick as would like to see - especially the device maintenance. If you have more than a couple of devices, the system makes device management a bit nightmarish when trying to figure out which devices to activate and de-activate - this has been my only pet peeve with the system in over a year - and we still cannot give a user defined name to each device for easy and quick identification.

Pros: Easy to use format, with a team of people behind the scenes looking for ways to better their product.

Cons: GPS locations are not accurate at all. This location was set up incorrectly, so functions like tasks will not work properly.

Pros: trainability, the customer support is excellent.
good for documentation using photos.
keeps your employees accountable

Cons: minor glitches here and there, like notes sending to the software online. also would like to see a compact report show all notes entered per issue and picture instead of just the last note entered.

I find this overall system, an amazing tool when used correctly by the holder.

Pros: friend user software, and the extra tools available to enhance the overall usage of the system,

Cons: I've been advised its in the works, my only downfall from grace is that information or concerns that are still open must have the ability to be transferred automatically to the next holder. (unclosed issued reports should transfer to the next holder during shift change)

Pros: One of our biggest selling points is our transparency and accountability. Silvertrac gives us that platform to drive home these two traits of our company. Our clients appreciate the ability to see what our guards are doing in near real time and ensure we are meeting our conformance standards. Additionally, the automated reports the system generates for our clients has been extremely favorable.

Customer service has been nothing short of excellent. I can always get an immediate response when I am having an issue or even a question regarding the capabilities.

Cons: The time clock feature appears to still have glitches in the feature and we have not been able to completely rely on this function.

Overall: The biggest benefit for us has to be our clients referring us to other customers based on Silvertrac. Our company has grown by over 100% each year since using Silvertrac. Some of our core values are accountability and transparency. Silvertrac is our biggest tool in helping us meet and exceed our values on every service delivery we are involved with.

Pros: The real-time reporting is an excellent selling point in our proposal to potential clients. With the use of this software we have increased our sales and number of clients. The GPS tracking is a great tool to keep the guards accountable as well as the check points (detex) option within the software. There are a number of different reports that are very helpful to our clients. Overall, the Silvertrac software is a valuable tool for our company and industry.

Overall: We as a company have used this software as a selling point and tool for our potential clients and sales proposal. Pros: Silvertrac Software is an ever evolving product that just simply solved future years of blunders in the Security Business. Pros: The ability to bring up the calls to review all info imputed and view photos taken by user. The ability for customers to sign in and view this info also.

Cons: Wish there was an app that customers could download for reporting issues I feel that this would make it easier from them to report incidents that they normally wouldn't report.

Pros: Easy to use, and the support staff is incredible. It is very user friendly everyone that can operate a smart phone can operate silvertrac.

Cons: Some small stuff need to be changed like the way that guard selects the security issue types. There also should be a way that I can write the address on the checkpoint report for the property.

Pros: Reporting is simple and easy to read as we send the reports to clients. I can walk through with a client over the phone to show them how to access the specific information they need. I personally use silvertrac to bill our clients per patrol hit.

Cons: The price, which I feel is high.
As a company, I feel we currently do not use the system to it's highest ability and we should utilize it for much more than tracking patrol hits.
I use silvertrac to bill our clients, I wish there was a way to have the total number of hits printed at the bottom of the page so I don't have to count each one.

Overall: It makes our security officers more accountable on what they do at each site. As we cannot personally supervise each and every single post/employee on a daily basis.

Pros: I like the customizable features with regards to the property setup.
I like the ease of setting up new properties.

Cons: I dont like that the officers are able to go into the barcode scanner app and can log a checkpoint scan from the scanners history.
I dont like that the timeclock dialogue box pops up every time you log in. We do not use that feature.
I do not like how the devices are not easily identified under device management. When trying to determine which device i need to activate and or deactivate.

Hey Andrew! A Few things: 1 - There is no need to use a bar code scanner app anymore. The scanner is built-in to both the Android and Apple Apps. This will prevent the officers from logging checkpoints from the history. 2 - We can turn off the time clock feature for you so that pop-up doesn't come up any more. 3- There is an update coming in the next 30-days that will allow you to name the devices/add notes so you can easily identify where/who they are being used by. Pros: The thing I like most is the ability to see in real time what the officers in the field are doing. New clients are in awe that a program like this exists. Bomar Security has maintained and has been hired on by new clients using SilverTrac as a selling tool. The ability for clients to look at their own reports is also a great tool in the process of getting new clients.

Cons: The only issue I have with the program is that you can't track the patrol drivers between sites with GPS technology.

Pros: the gps tracking system. We love that we are able to see exactly where our guards are when they are on post.

Cons: that I can't select multiple users to activate or disable at one time, that I have to go one by one. I wish I could view the list and select multiple at one time. would make the process go much faster

Cons: No Voice communication between logged on useers (PPT/AUDIO: requiring another system for critical direct communication): The Dispatch/Supervisor portal has not "NIGHT VISION" setting, when used from a vehicle mount.

Pros: Amazing quality in pictures and audio when sending reports to clients. They love the automated reports they receive daily. Great selling point when trying to get new clients. The program makes it very easy to go to a unit and retrieve all the reports when a manager needs information. The parking program allows you to find license numbers easily when looking information for a client. The system uploads quickly.

Cons: That there is no search engine to make it easy to find names that have been used in the system. You cannot edit the system when you have entered information. You are also not allowed to change the color or fonts in the system as well.

Overall: We where able to make the company grow with this software program being a huge selling point.

We started using the software to replace a current old style wand system we were using.

Pros: I like the fact the DAR and IR are in one report. I like the fact that I have a dashboard that I can quickly review what happened. We also receive reports each morning to make sure our staff is utilizing the software correctly.

Cons: Some of the windows like programming issue types and checkpoints can seem like a long and tedious process.

Pros: It helps us keep track of issues relating to security and maintenance seamlessly through one integrated program. It easily incorporates most of what we do as security in one accessible program.

Cons: We would like to have more lines available to describe issues. We would also like a "post orders on the go" function.

Overall: It centralizes analytics.

Pros: Easy to use and when I do have a question. Everyone is very happy to help. The team at silver trac is it one of the best to help you with anything that you ever need to learn or for a quick response

Pros: Like the new DAR reports with pictures

Cons: Would like an incident report function that prompts for specific fields to be completed or filled in.

Overall: We use Silvertrac, with great results, on all of our sites that vary in environments, duties and functions. We are able to monitor remote operations with ease. Customers have the ability to receive the report they want when they want it. Cons: Sometimes my guards Android phones have trouble downloading from the play store. The qr reader doesn't appear on their screen sometimes.

Overall: I was turned on to Silvertrac through one of my clients. Now I use it for almost all of them. It's much better than handwriting out a report after each patrol round. And everything is printed out for my clients on their own computers! Great product so far!!!

Pros: Easy to use and very useful as far as storing information and retrieving it. Great for multiple users.

Cons: Again, the bright colors that were chosen on the latest update are a bit too much. Makes it harder to read with the white text font

Overall: Updates took some getting used to. But overall a good experience. At times the bright colors on the new theme can be a bit uneasy on the eyes.

Comments: During my 10yrs in the Private Security Field, I've utilized various reporting software's, Silvertrac being one of them. There is no need to compare, as Silvertrac always stands out from the rest due to live issue monitoring, and the easy to use software. Working with Security and Parking Management for Residential Communities, Silvertrac is the perfect tool for parking enforcement, security documentation, and maintenance request. The software allows you to reference Issues with Units, and parking locations. When in doubt about a setting, the Customer Support Center is always prompt to respond to any inquiry, even my crazy requests... Overall: CBM Services Ltd. is a maintenance and janitorial company. We look after high rise condo buildings. We use Silvertrack to keep track of maintenance, security and parking issues in each building. With each employee having ST on the smart phone it makes it easy to keep track of these issues and get things done. The report are loved by the property managers. I use them in my sales presentation. No one in my industry has reporting like I do.

If you're having issues with picture quality try using a different device to see if that improves the photos. 2) The Notifications in Silvertrac are subject to the sound settings on the phone. If you have the phone on silent, or if you have disabled audible alerts on the phone, then notifications from Silvertrac will only vibrate and/or show a push notification on the phones lock screen. I hope these suggestions help!

Overall: As a retired Public Safety Dispatch Supervisor and IT Project Manager, I was hired to facilitate the implementation of a Communications Center for a private security company looking to expand their patrol operations. My first job was to review their existing Guard Management Software, since there were lots of complaints with the Destiny Software System they were using, and to determine if it wasn't being utilized properly or simply wasn't designed to meet the company's needs.

Destiny simply couldn't meet their needs. I compared several other programs and Silvertrac was in the top for consideration. Based on our needs, the Silvertrac functionality and their proposed price, it was an easy decision.

Johnny Page worked with us and patiently and extensively answered all our questions and made several on-line workshops available to show us how the system worked.

Considering the monthly price, which included 90 days of 1/2 off and a 90 day 100% money back guarantee, we couldn't NOT pick Silvertrac.

Their written instructions, on-line video training material and webinars made the implementation of the new system very easy. Pros: I can see when my guards are doing what they are supposed to be doing and when they are slacking. I had some employees that have become disgruntled because they are now being accountable for what they are doing. These employees are of course ones that I'm now working on eliminating from the ranks. The guards now spend more visible time in the field since they do not have to go in to the guard booth to type reports and dailies, everything is completed as they perform their duties during their shift. The majority of my guards say that they like this software because they are able to end their shift on time and not be tied down to completing reports and dailies. Silvertrac has allowed me to identify those employees who is late to work, these are the employees that don't like the program. The clients like the information they are receiving on a daily basis and the reports and dailies are waiting for them when they arrive in the office first thing in the morning. Whenever I have an issue with something in Silvertrac I send a message and within a very short time period I'm contacted and the issues are worked out, most time they are simple fixes that I had missed. Silvertrac has been very patient with me in resolving my issues while taking whatever time is needed to make sure I understand how to work around in the software. My wife had asked me why I hadn't been using this software earlier and I could only say I didn't know of it earlier. I guess you can say better late than never.

Cons: The only con I can think of and it's not Silvertrac issue but the only con is I'm just using it. Silvertrac need to find a way of getting the word out about this remarkable software and service they offer

Overall: I've identified weaknesses that I didn't know were there with my guards. Silvertrac has exposed those guards that were trying to get away with putting forth the minimum effort. My clients are impressed with the information they are now receiving. One client had in the past complained that the guards were not making rounds, I've went live with this software 3 weeks ago and since then the client has not had one complaint.

Recommendations to other buyers: The pricing for this software is really nice, if you think the cost may be a bit much for your start up company, I'm here to tell you that it is well with the cost and that cost is no where near the cost of other products that I have tried that provided no where near the service that Silvertrac has and is providing.

We were using group thinking and Johnny was listening to our concerns and was creative enough to jump in and give us ideas.

Pros: Ease of use by officer personnel. Ease in reading reports as they are disseminated by email. Ease in seeing information at a glance via Issue Monitor and basic trend reports. DAR recap is also very good, providing clients with at a glance information. Of advanced functionality, the AUTO REPORTS function (auto DAR in particular) feature is GREAT and must have.

Cons: Given we use the software via web browser 85% of the time, the lack of ability to add a picture to a report from the initial issue creation stage is a con. I'd like to see this change, as this would be a perfect scenario for us, given how we use the software in gated community and high rise condo security applications.

The only confusing part for clients, as we use the software: the "click here to see" statement at the bottom of initial issue report emails. 98% of our clients do not want nor have time to go into detail when viewing a report. They want the report informaiton via email... and that very typically has all the info they need. I'd like to see functionality to remove that statement as a customize-able feature.

Finally, the basic trend reports are great (top 10 issues, types of issues, by table). I'd like to see the functionality to turn these numbers directly into bar/line/pie charts -- OR, to export them to Excel (instead of only PDF), so we can create our own charts for clients.

Overall: Proposal was excellent, as was explanation of how the software worked. After evaluation, we quickly decided this would be a good fit for ALERT, even though our use of the software is a little different from a typical Silvertrac client.

ALERT uses the software 85% of the time from a fixed location as a "dispatcher profile" - officers at a fixed post using a Windows PC, and accessing and creating an issue report via web browser interface. It works well this way for 90% of reports.

The other 15% of use is the typical smartphone or tablet interface, via the Silvertrac App. The App itself works VERY well and we've gotten good feedback from clients.

Comments: I have used Silvertrac both as a guard and as a client for reporting purposes. I love the ease of use as a guard. The issue types are clear and everything is simple to use. I have had to train many guards on the application and it doesn't take much. Being able to add 10 pictures for every report with lots of detailed notes made my job as a guard easier.

On the other side of Silvertrac, using the reports and edit property functions, everything is also easy to use and can be modified to fit our company's needs. Having many different residential properties makes tracking the reports a necessity. We are able to track the guards response times, issue details, and follow up on issues with ease. Reviewing all of the reports that I need later, or actively reviewing reports through the issue monitor, Silvertrac makes it simple.

Additionally, when it comes to service and support, the support team always gets back to me in a timely manner with the answers that I need. At times things get adjusted and they are able to accommodate our changing needs. The support team is kind, courteous, and always willing to assist.

Cons: The biggest complaint is having to scroll down multiple site on the cell when out doing vehicle patrol, it should have a search button or be able to type in the site/location. If an error is made on the cell you do not have the ability to correct your error prior to submitting the issue.
Overall, great product, enjoy using it and learning more every day.

Overall: At first you become overwhelmed but, the excellent customer service you have at the other end allows you to get beyond. Once you get into using Silvertrac, it is amazing what you can do. Monitor your staff for accountability, provide you client with ease allowing them to be updated in real time. Monitoring your fleet, knowing when to service, if they are on site or sitting at home etc.

I like the dispatch capability
I find the real time reporting capabilities to be very useful and have impressed all my clients.
It is laid out in a manner that is easy to use and user intuitive. Even my employees that are more technologically challenged find it easy to use and pick up.

My clients also enjoy the real time reporting and viewing capabilities they have along with the ability to streamline guard reports and to dispatch security and facility maintenance issues appropriately in one place.

Comments: Pros: Too many to list. We find new positive uses each day.

Cons: Is data entry intensive at upstart.
May need to make several data edits to make the reports useful.
Making it part of your standard service could make your pricing to high to be competitive.

Overall: Let me start by saying Johnny Page's middle name must be "On the Spot". Johnny has answered every question very quickly and provided useful insights on how to enter data to get useful info back in return. We are still learning the system but as we get more comfortable with it we find new was to use it almost daily.

Comments: We are a project still in growth, with many twists and surprises behind us and a few more I'm sure to come. At every stage I have been able to find a way with help from Scott with Tech support or Johnny himself. My site to date encompasses so many moving parts from stationary officers, to foot patrols, mobile patrols, and everything in between. Just when I think that we have reached the limit of what I can use the software for I find out that I am wrong and Johnny jumps right in there with the answer. I Honestly Recommend them and the software, and I cant wait to see what levels we take it to next.

Comments: I have had clients tell me that they really like getting the reports form SilverTrac, some clients said that other security companies they had in the past would send out reports once a week, or cant find the reports when they ask for them. This has improved our company by far from the rest.

Comments: Very user friendly, our officers need minimal training on how to use the system.

One con is that the supervisors are unable to change the issue type, once the officer chooses one. We had occasions where the officers accidently checked the wrong issue type and we are unable to change it. This will greatly effect the statically report.

I have had a very good experience with SilverTrac in general and I'd say that the only thing I can say is that I on my end have not utilized the software to it's potential and that is to no fault of SilverTrac. That being said it performs just like it should, but as in most cases it is only as good as its operators. I am the Regional Manager ABC and take care of all of the sales calls and presentations for potential clients and this is where I am not only presenting my company but yours as well and I feel that I may not be doing my or SilverTrac the best service as I may or may not have been presenting it to its full potential. I know that I may not be utilizing your costumer service as much as I should and that is my fault as I would like to come up with a more targeted marketing plan to certain industries such as Construction. I mention construction as it is one of the industries that I have been getting the best response from and that is where I would like to see how I may be able to utilize the software to its full potential. The only con that I have encountered when I am presenting your software to some of my and SilverTrac competitors is the that some have real-time guard activity as you can see them walking around second by second in real-time. I was wondering if that is a feature that is even possible whith SilverTrac and thus can be added on or if its something that is in the works.

If it is possible I would like to schedule a meeting to see if you may be able to help me out with some of the above mentioned items.

Comments: We have used this product for a couple of years now, we are on your Beta program, Chris I believe you normally work with Christina Hickman from our organization, Puget Sound Security. I came into the fold using the product a year and a half ago, by far the best product I have every used, 35 years in this industry.

Photo's - often I have drivers state that they can take a better photo with their device's camera outside of the ST app, than within. I personally have not experienced this, however several have mentioned.

I believe with some improved implementation/set up on our end we could show a greater level of professionalism.....just from attending this webinar I believe we are not using the full potential. Currently my patrol drivers will utilize photos and audio to do their patrol reporting, if there is an elevated issue that needs attention, our dispatch center is transcribing their audio reports, we do not have them enter their own notations due to time consumption on their routes and typical spelling/grammar and so on.

I am eager to receive the ebook and audio on this and review again, looking at our own organization.......checkpoints and per-written scripts etc. will be a blessing on static guarding sites and I wish to pursue this in more detail.

Comments: One issue we have had is when we set up a property and one of our admins/dispatchers is not to receive email notifications for that particular property (we have set up all notifications to never) we still receive them. We have a Houston and Austin office so our Houston office is getting notifications for Austin and visa versa, we can't seem to figure out how to fix this issue.

Other than this small issue we have found Silvertrac to be a extremely beneficial program for both our officers and our clients. I would love to beta test your message board or any other programs you are looking to add.

Comments: The SilverTrac software provides great insight into several niche areas. If you need to monitor any and all basic functions that occur within a building or on a property this software will help you in multiple ways. As a private security provider our company truly utilizes only half of this software, but we are able to track guard rounds, notify of any issues, produce reports, and track problem areas all with the click of a few buttons. The software is so easy to use we have some guards who use English as a second language and with a few minutes of training have no issues creating reports and tracking their rounds.

The customer service and support personnel are top notch. As we have moved into multiple markets with this product I have always received support in trying new things, stretching the software, and applying it in new ways. If there is ever an issue or a question it is quickly resolved.

The few cons that have come up in our use of SilverTrac is the lack of real time GPS and the ability to create geofences of the properties. This software also does not allow you to create "forms" within it. If a supervisor wants to complete a guard evaluation it is not always easy or "reportable" because they have to be entered as "Issues" with some limitations on the reportable fields to be entered.

Comments: This software has saved many hour of reading and sending paperwork to the customers that they don't have time to read through. If any problems are found on an account it is easy to create an issue and when the officers submit the issue it it goes directly to the customer and your management via email to let them know that they have a problem that needs to be addressed. It also makes it easier to keep track of responses to each account for billing purposes. This is an excellent and easy to use reporting system.

Comments: Pros - great for tracking employees, vehicles and ensuring our client needs are met. Hands on customer help 24/7 by Johnny Page/customer service. Easy step by step video demos available.

Cons - GPS is not as accurate as one would like it to be, having to scroll through all accounts until you find the one you want rather then having a search bar, when entering/updating a property it jumps back to the top of your list rather then stay on the property you were working on causing you to scroll through once again. When running reports having the pop up screen continuously without allowing you to complete your entry. Having to scroll your time in for reports rather then having a box to just type in your time frame required.
