It is a great app for school managers, teachers, students, and parents. The support team is always willing to help and does their best to resolve any issues. Throughout the years, there have been multiple upgrades based on our feedback. They keep evolving and getting better and better. I can keep records of everything related to my school: active students, contact details, payments and receipts, timetables, homework, performance, and so much more. Overall, I cannot imagine working without Teach 'n Go. For me, it is an essential tool. I highly recommend it — it makes everything so much easier. Pros It is user-friendly and constantly adds new features. I love the School Management and Payments sections, as you can upload everything related to your school in one software, eliminating the need for hard copies. As for payments, you can track the exact amount you have earned as well as your projected income. Cons I don't think there are negative aspects. They are true professionals. A minor detail regarding the mobile app: when I want to email the receipt, the email button is sometimes on the same place of the AI agent button; so, instead of emailing something, I end up texting to the AI agent. It is an awesome and powerful Student Information System that has helped us manage and grow our program effectively. We currently have almost 2,000 active students, 36 teachers, and delivered more than 100 classes last year, and the platform has handled all of this very well. One of the best things about Teach ‘n Go is the support team. From the beginning, they have been with us every step of the way. Their technical support is responsive, helpful, and truly cares about our success. This made the implementation process smooth and gave us confidence in using the system. From our learners' perspective, there are a lot of issue while using it. Pros We really like to clarity and intuitiveness of this platform. From the admin side, it includes all the essential features we need: calendar (for each teacher, for all teachers), attendance tracking, the possibility to email students, reward them, the possibility to attach worksheets to each lesson, etc. Cons Students usually don't receive invitations from the platform (we need to download the instruction in pdf and send it separately via email as Invite to the Portal button does not work). Learners have a lot of issues while logging in to Teach n Go. Once you delete Student's account and then, you need to create an account for the same student, we need to reach out to Teach n Go support to delete the previously stored data on the given email address to reactive the account. At that scale, what matters most is that things work consistently and that the platform doesn't create extra problems, and on that front it has held up well for us. It covers many of the core operational needs of running a school, and it is approachable enough that staff, teachers and students who are not particularly tech-oriented can use it without much friction. We are an online language school working with students and teachers in several countries, and we have been using Teach'n Go for a few years now. Over that time the platform has improved noticeably, and the team's willingness to listen and keep refining things has stayed consistent throughout. The district depends on this information. TNG make sit easier. Cons As most schools have the teacher setting up the classes and managing student profiles. With us admins do this work. This leaves our teachers focused on teaching, not doing admin duties. Of course we are a horse of another color and TNG does not fully integrate with us......But they are learning. June 28, 2022 4.0 As a small sized (100-200 customers) provider of after school English lessons, it fits our functional needs very closely indeed, making it very easy to use. Almost no unused functions to slow navigation and cause stress. Support is quite responsive if there are any issues, though we haven't had to contact for a few months. Our previous system put emphasis on sending email notifications of lessons, payments due, which we still think is good, so to change to an app based system meant educating customers to do things for themselves. It was a reasonably smooth transition and the phone app itself has no glitches. Pros Ease of use. Links across functions makes it easy to move around the system. Visual presentation is very clear and well proportioned so as not to cause stress when using (e.g. text size, spacing, colouring). Gives professional appearance to the customer, I think. Solutions available for most pricing regimes. Easy to use Invoice/receipt system linked to bookings. Sounds obvious, but no chance of missed charges like some systems out there. No glitches in the system, which is key to trust in the system management. Handy system search and 'Add New' boxes in the page header. Cons Pages are sometimes a little slow to load. Reason for choosing Teach n Go 2nd best and probably the only other option for us. Good Zoom meeting explanation and solutions for all our needs, but our school is quite small and the Udio system is better suited to bigger organisations with much greater usage and staff able to handle big menus. We liked the ability to communicate over "Teacher's notes" important things for the teachers to know , being able to write the info to specific lessons of specific days. We also work a lot with the prospect list to create new classes . Starting my day and opening the dashboard I can find all the infos I need for all classes coming up and prospects who will attend. So I can focus on preparing what is needed to make them sign up. That is great and makes my life easier. If the issue with our company logo in the email would be solved I would also try to upload ducuments for the students, so that they could get it directly from the platform. That might be a great tool for us. Cons We don't use the feature of sending emails to the students over your platform, because it seems so difficult to add company logos and students might think the emails they get from us are spam emails. It's a great tool for both students and teachers. I find it still lacks a few great improvements but still it's a solid and great management tool with lots to offer. Pros The ease of the system is great. I find the whole integration of buttons with the interface to provide a great experience for student and teacher alike. Cons I would like a whole series of improvements. I find that very often students have long loading times when trying to sign in the system. I would have liked a custom grade book where I could upload all the new grades per lesson for each student. That would be a great time saver especially if it could find the average grade per student on a variety of specifications. It would also be great to implement a print whole schedule with the details of each lesson per class and all class lessons details together. Finally, it would be great if we had the ability to change the usernames of our students, not only their passwords. With their competitive pricing and all the functions, it's our go-to platform for organising our language training within our organisation. Pros All great things: competitive pricing, creating groups, getting students to the platform, keeping track of attendance and most importantly having access to API to connect Teach n Go to our Power BI. Cons Our students don't use it as often as we would like them too. Perhaps it's our own fault but it's a bit tough to keep their interest. They have listened to our needs and work hard to adapt parts of the software to our requests. They are also always available in the chat to solve any issues that come up on the daily work. Pros It is very easy and straight forward to use. Very intuitive and simple. Courses and students records are now centralised and easy to create and access. Cons As in any "off the self" product, there are functions that are missing and would be helpful to have. Among those, I would include better records for Academic progress/test scores and easier and more flexible way to pull reports about different aspects of the courses. But it would be great if few more types of report can be added, for example daily report about the room use (showing time, room, class, students, teachers at the same time), class report can show students' names also; Multiple filters can be allowed.
