Overall a good experience. Fast support, new updates and features in good frequence.

Pros

Gives you good control of stock and purchase tracking

Cons

Not always userfriendly, if a misstake is made it is hard och a lot of work to correct it.

good training, but we had to create our own training guides so i would say for future reference that you should have more detailed step by step guides available (our scribe documents that we created as much better than any of the teaching guides that Rambase had available)

Pros

full traceability, detailed structures and quite easy to follow steps in each process

Cons

some basic functionalities such as issuing stock not available so have to find a way around it.

Continuous updates, great help from support, less and less manual tasks to do

Cumbersome report system, some modules are a bit outdated

If you are a manufacturing company, you will have complete controll of even the most complex manufacturing processes. I'm a bit unsure if it hits project-intesive companies just as good. I guess it depends on if you "make" something or not. If you do, RamBase is a winner. If your mainly into services it's maybe not the right choice

Pros

It just works. Preconfigured processes gives access to advanced functionalty almost right out of the box. The sales/delivery and procurement processes are closely tied together and all kinds of demands are calculated and re-calculated in realtime. This makes it nearly impossible to ignore the effect of your commitment against the customer. In addition, a very fine-grained and detailed control in production gives tracing of all possible changes in your project. From the smallest "swap" in materials to large variation orders

Cons

You are a little bit locked into the RamBase preconfigured processes. But I know that this is an area that is undergoing changes the next couple of years, so i guess the users just have to be patient about this. The use of open webstandards throughout the product will at least make it possible to make it a very adaptable product
