Pros: I use Todoist for both my personal task manager as well as my business task manager. I'm a work-from-home mom with a growing business and I like that I can seamlessly use this for ANY task I need to complete. I am able to put household chores, personal projects and work projects all in one. It allows me to organize and categorize all of my to-dos I add.

I love that I can have this on my desktop, tablet and phone and they seamlessly update constantly. It helps me know what needs to be done wherever I am.

The other thing that I absolutely LOVE and saves me tons of time is that I can make some tasks recurring. I am able to add weekly, daily or monthly tasks to my to-do list. This has helped me so I never forget a task or skip doing things that come up just once in a while.

When life gets really busy, and unexpected things come up I can easily change my tasks to a different due date. This makes a world of difference in actually getting my tasks done. Instead of having a to-do list a mile long, I can re-prioritize what I have left and add it to different days as needed.

Cons: My only complaint is that I'm not able to see what I've checked off in the free version. Sometimes a task will get accidentally bumped and marked as done on my phone, and I have no way of going back to retrieve what it was without paying.

The other thing I wish there was in this software was a way to add these items to my calendar. I use Google Calendars, and it would be really nice to be able to take a task and place it on my calendar schedule as well to keep my life super organized.

Overall: I used Todoist a few years back and loved it. I then switched to a different platform for one reason or another, but ended up coming back to Todoist for its ease of use and ability to have recurring tasks. I use it for my personal tasks as well as for my business tasks.

Pros: Todoist is an excellent task management system that works well for both personal and business use. It offers the ability to easily organize projects and sub-projects as well as breaking tasks into smaller steps under one heading. It does take a traditional list format, as opposed to the visual card layout of Trello, but many people may find that they prefer this style.

The following features are ones that I have found to be extremely valuable in my roughly two years of using this software:

--Comments - the ability to make multiple comments on a task and even attach files has been great for both my personal and professional project management workflow.

--Assigning tasks - being able to assign tasks to specific team members is great for managing complex projects and tracking accountability.

--Integrations - integrations with popular services such as Outlook, Spark, Slack, Siri, Alexa, etc. make it easy and convenient to add tasks from anywhere. The ability to easily add an email is especially helpful.

--Labels - the ability to label tasks and projects and then filter based on those labels is extremely helpful.

--Natural language input - the ability to quickly and easily add a date, reminder, file in a project, or assign a person during the initial creation step makes it much easier to create detailed tasks.

Overall, I've found this software to be useful and would highly recommend both the free and premium versions.

Cons: Sometimes, depending on the OS, the interface can be funky. For example, I find the interface for iOS/mobile to be slightly harder to use when it comes to easily rearranging projects/tasks or making comments quickly.

I'd also like to see better visual organization in the form of custom icons for tasks. Though the ability to change colors exists, this often isn't enough during complex use. It would also be highly useful to assign tasks to multiple people or groups, instead of one particular person.

Overall: This software has been highly effective at helping me track not only personal tasks but organize business projects amongst a team that operates in a non-traditional office environment. By utilizing Todoist, we have ensured more effective tracking and increased our completion rate of tasks. It also allows for an easier sharing of information, allowing everyone to be informed.

As both a business owner + someone with a busy personal life, Todoist helps keep me on track!

Pros: I've used several "To-Do" list apps in the past, but none of them have ever stuck, until ToDoist. What started as a way for me to keep track of work tasks quickly became my go-to app for keeping me honest with my never-ending list of to-dos both in business and personal life. The ability to create multiple to-do lists and share them with multiple (and unique) people sets us up for success and accountability. I also love being able to assign a task to somebody on the shared list and provide a due date for each individual task. I've also connected ToDoist to my Amazon Echo Dot, so I can ask support team to add items to my shopping list or tasks to my to-do list. When a task is completed and checked off by someone other than me, I love that I get a mobile push notification confirming that fact, in real time. Finally, having the app on my phone along with on my iMac makes for seamless use regardless of where I'm currently working. Overall, I've been very satisfied with ToDoist!

Cons: There are some quirks to the program, but nothing that turns me off from using it. For example, each list is considered a "Project" and each project can have sub-categories. When adding a new task to a project, you are not given the option of a sub-category. Therefore, the task defaults to the bottom of the list. You then have to scroll to the bottom and drag/drop the task under the sub-category you want it to be in. I sometimes accidentally drop it in a fashion that it creates a sub-sub-category and then I have to manually change everything in that sub-category back over. I also have not found value to the Productivity Score I am given on a daily basis, along with a lifetime score. I appreciate the psychological benefit of game-ifying your to-do list, but it's just not something I find necessary.

Overall: ToDoist has allowed me to keep track of my endless list of to-dos across both my business and personal life.

Pros: *Flexibility You can use browser, android, ios, windows, mac device, apple watch, android wear or even use a gmail or outlook. Todoist is right there for you. *UI It has the most welcoming UI of all todo managers. Of course, tastes are different. But I believe, no-one would disagree that Todoist is well made and developed with Love. *Scalability and features No being a full scale CRM does not stop Todoist from having everything you might want to have for your everyday simple lists, reminders and tasks. Todoist offers such features as a great approach to structure of tasks, flawless work on the prioritizing tasks and creating simple lists. *Integrations and little things Todoist offers a broad range of features out of the box, such as projects, links as tasks, scheduling and calendar integration. You always forget to pick up or buy something. Or want to prepare for the day by creating a simple todo - this app is for YOU.

Cons: 1. More integrations needed. First of all calendars - at the moment the work there is mostly messy and is not optimized. It would be nice to have it in a compact and comfortable tab (calendar tab) and also add calendars on the go and display tasks or meeting in todoist. That would be a huge leap ahead. 2. Pricing of Todoist is not smart, to my humble opinion. First of all, they don't offer monthly payments, why not? Yes, I agree it's cheaper to pay for a year. But what if I am not sure. There are many todo apps and the pricing might be the only thing that would stop people from using todoist constantly, students for example. Would it not be nice to have more flexibility and options there.

An easy to use, versatile, productivity and organization multi-platform app.

Cons: Not a straightforward way to sign up with an existing account on an Android app.

The trial requires a credit card info although it is easy to cancel.

An Android app does not move to the SD card.

Free version for Android lacks reminders/alerts.

It limits the list to 200 active projects and tasks per project in the premium version. It should be unlimited.

2048 characters per task name and 255 characters per project name It should be more than that.

The interface takes some time to master and lacks consistency.

The calendar feature is missing.

Personal and business lists are not plainly separated.

Overall: Todoist is great for scheduling and deadlines and is an excellent collaboration tool. It is available on many platforms both online and offline, easily syncs and has an offline functionality.

As a productivity tool, Todoist is great for teams allowing 50 people per project. It features the centralized team billing, management log-in tracking and priority support at an affordable price. It takes some thought and time to customize and use the product.

The free version is restrictive, but the paid version offers a 30-day trial that uses a credit card information and is easy to cancel. Also, it is relatively affordable with a monthly plan. I highly recommend Todoist for freelancers, small, medium, and even large businesses.

Pros: I enjoy the incredible language recognition that makes it easy to capture tasks, set due dates, priorities, organize tasks by project, and apply custom labels to tasks. It's very simple and easy to use, which is uncommon among professional project management apps.

It is easy to break projects into sub-projects, and use sub-tasks to help break big tasks into manageable pieces. This makes it a perfect fit for small businesses or teams.

It also has great collaboration features, such as sharing tasks with others, assigning tasks and sub-tasks to individuals, and attaching files and comments to tasks or projects.

Todoist has an app for every operating system, including browsers, phones, desktops, the web, and even smart watches. I personally love the Chrome browser extension and Gmail integration.

I love the custom filters, they are incredibly powerful and allow you to build your own workflows. I use filters and labels to organize my tasks by location, by priority, by the amount of time each task will take, and by due date.

Todoist integrates with many other products such as Google Calendar, DropBox, Google Drive, Slack, Google Assistant, and dozens more. Todoist works hard to be everywhere and integrate with everything, making it a really powerful tool.

Cons: Todoist only lets you view your tasks in list form. Most project planning tools give you a calendar view, a Kanban board view, or some other types of visualizations.

You also can't set due dates on projects themselves, and don't have a way to mark a project as completed. You can compensate for this by using sub-tasks instead, but it can get annoying at times.

The UI is very simple, and doesn't give you much control over themes. You can change the color of the title bar, but that's about it.

Overall: I've used Todoist for over 4 years, and it helps me manage both my work and personal projects. I use it for everything from grocery lists to large software development projects, and it works great no matter how big the project gets.

The flexibility has made a huge difference. Over the years I've changed the way I work, and instead of having to go search for a new app, I can just change the labels and filters that I use to create a completely different workflow.

I love that I can access my tasks and projects on my computer, phone, tablet, and even directly within Gmail. This makes it a great place to capture things that I want to do later. It's helped me stay on top of things and succeed in school, work, and at home.

Comments: Todoist has evolved with some features since I first used it. I wanted a "To Do" list a while back to monitor and track certain projects and ideas. Instead of a stand alone "To Do" list I wanted something that allowed me to add others and use it as a shareable and collaborative tool. Todoist was able to do just that. And I find it easy to use, setup and work with. If you have ever used a "To Do" list, this will be second nature. I have not tried the Premium or Business levels, but from what I am able to see, they are also very powerful and useful, as long as you can operate your business or projects as "To Do" lists.

Pros: Todoist is a simple as it gets. It is a glorified "To Do" list with features that makes life easier. What makes Todoist superior to your average "To Do" list is its ability to group, categorize, and use filters. While these feature do exist in other basic "To Do" list, they do not have the same simple and intuitive interface of Todoist. And this is just the free version. Want to create "Projects" and track them as a "To Do" list, you can do it here... with ease. There are also many settings features and options, like import/export, sorting, and more. Want more power? Upgrade to Premium and get extras like labels, commenting and much more. Todoist also has Business accounts for all out collaboration among teams where projects can be managed via a "To Do" list format.

Cons: There are no cons I can see other than the somewhat tricky perception that features listed on the app while using the free version are actually part of premium. When using Todoist's free version, if you click on the visible links to add a filter or label, you are presented with a pop-up that tells you it is a premium version. Sort of a cross-sell there, which I often find a bit deceitful. But please, do not get me wrong. If such features are needed, it is worth the upgrade.

Pros: - Amazing way to sort lists - you can have projects and labels (labels only available in the paid subscription). I am looking into the GTD model by David Allen and labels are used as "contexts" - meaning that I have things to do in certain environments or contexts. I have list for things I need to do in the office, or at home, or on the computer, or at the grocery store, or at my kid's school. Once you are in a particular context, you look to your label for things you need to do at that particular place - Projects are a great way to organize yourself, having the ability to see updates for a particular project is really convenient - A vast list of shortcuts to improve efficiency -Drag and drop features make it convenient to sort your lists/projects -Date reminder - as soon as you have an item to do and input a date/time, the app understands this and generates a reminder for the task at that particular date/time, which is really cool! -Sharing projects - if someone else has the app, you can share a project in real time - Can access the app across devices

Cons: -Dates - sometimes I don't want the date to be included as a reminder but the app always translates the date as such and would be nice if I could hit the backspace on the app and it would understand that it is not something I want as a reminder -Checklists - would be good if Todoist integrated checklists like Google Keep where you can copy and paste lists from a text message and Todoist would interpret each line as a separate list item or give you the option to paste it as separate items or one list

Pros: I love how simple it is to use. I did not like other softwares because they seemed too complicated. Todoist is super simple to interact with, but has layers on layers of incredible, intuitive tools I can add if I want to. I can tag it, add a GPS functional reminder, recurring calendar updates, tag other people in it...or I can simple add a task and check it off.

It's super customizable to what I need in the moment. I use it on my ipad, iphone and macbook to keep both my personal and professional life in working order.

Cons: There really isn't anything that I don't like. I can't think of anything. I am a super frugal business owner and I pay for premium for this-it's that important to me.

Overall: I read Getting Things Done, an incredible book that helped me learn how to organize my life. Todoist helped me implement that program. I have been using the program daily for nearly five years. It's been life changing for me.

Before, I felt like my life was out of control. I had so many things left undone, things I'd forget, pieces of paper laying around with lists. I spent probably 30 hours researching software before I landed on Todoist. I didn't want to spend time actually learning the software. Todoist, with a quick ten minute tutorial, allowed me to jump in and use it either simply, or with the maximum functionality.

I'll never change products. Highly recommend.

Pros: The hands-down best two features of this application are the chrome extension and the mobile app. It's so easy to pop open either way and start to put in what your tasks are or even better know what still needs to be done and then click the check mark to say it's done. The schedule feature could not be any easier to use to set your date and time. Just type in plain English and bam it understand it and schedules it. If you want to know what still needs to be done then just click it open and you see at a glance everything you still need to do. I love the feature to re-schedule things you can get done, it's a click of one button, and it puts them in the best time slots it thinks you will get them done. Since it is using AI, it gets better over time at knowing your time schedule tendencies.

Cons: Since it uses AI at first it's not that good at re-scheduling items for it just puts them on the next day. At times it does not fully understand what time and date your putting in and seems to get confused when you are on the mobile app.

Overall: Todo list has helped me get back control of my time when it comes to task scheduling and being able to not have things full thru the cracks. I am so much more efficient.

Pros: I've bounced around between a half dozen different task management systems, but Todoist is the first one I've stuck with for more than a month or two. I've been using it now for over a year to manage all the things I work on. It's awesome because it's easy to schedule items across projects and see what I have to work on today. The integrations with other applications like Pomodone make it easy to make everything work within my workflow, and they don't try to restrict how you use your todo list.

Their support is also really good, and they have a very quick release cycle. I once notified the company about an issue and a fix was released within a day. It's a solid application, and they keep making it easier to use.

I love the natural language processing on your todos that automatically converts text to a due date. I can say "Work on X feature on Monday" and "on Monday" gets translated into a due date for the next week.

Having an email address I can send/forward things to to add them to my todo list is great. I use it all the time to keep my Inbox empty, but make sure I'm still tracking all the todo items in my list.

Cons: The desktop application for Windows is pretty mediocre. I just use the website because the application feels limited somehow.

Pros: Having tried a number of different list software apps ...this one had all the features I was looking for and a few that I hadn't even considered. Todoist works everywhere--there is a windows 10 app, a phone app, a panel for Outlook and a web version--very convenient. It does what most list apps do, but has some important features that really help: 1) You can make a series of individual named lists and items within can be hierarchical. 2) items on lists can be scheduled, tagged, labeled and highlighted. 3) Lists can be shared with other users and in that case items can be assigned. 4) List items can have notes and items attached. 5)Shared items can be set to notify list users when something changes.

Cons: Occasionally it is difficult to move an item to a specific depth in a hierarchy by dragging. However there are right click menu items that help solve that.

Overall: Todoist has given us a central place to keep track of everything we have to do. I use it as a quick daily planner, a place to store a few pieces of data that are needed often, and a way to keep up with home tasks, work projects and family responsibilities. The software is very well thought out!

Pros: One of the things that me and my team enjoyed the most was the ease of use, that starts as a task tracker but evolves into more complex settings. Also, there is a lot of information on how to set it up according to your personal or professional needs. Only the paid versions let you modify some setups, but for its cost it's worth the investment.

Another interesting thing is that it lets you live with two profiles on the same platform, your personal one and your business one which helps ease switching accounts or apps between your personal "shopping list" and your projects

Cons: There are few things me and my team didn't like, and it's mostly a lack of things that some other PM tools have, such as a timeline view for project completion and advancements.

Overall: I've first used Todoist as a personal task tracker, and seen it evolve into a more powerful platform. I gave it a test with my company (marketing agency and also an investment fund) and use it with my team. I am very pleased about all its easy integrations, very straightforward UX and a big complete help center with a lot of information to help you right configuration.

Pros: This product is streamlined and integrates well with other products. The ability to organize your tasks on multiple levels is also nice. What I mean by multiple levels: you can organize in a standard list, that any task list app will do. However, you can also organize by tag. Why this is nice is that if you have multiple personal tasks (for example) across varying lists for time periods, you can instantly pull up all of your personal tasks. There is a wide combination of course of how suit this to your own needs.

Finally, the reminders are extremely helpful and make it easy to prioritize your upcoming tasks. I hardly ever forget anything now, since I instantly put it on my appropriate list and give it a due date (if appropriate).

Cons: I really hate to say this but I don't have any flaws to point out. I evaluated over five to-do list apps, in depth. (IQTell, Wunderlist, Google Tasks, Microsoft To Do, Asana, Evernote to name a few) This is the one I have been using now for over a year. A to do list is essential to my work so I was quite scrutiness in my evaluation.

Overall: I am learning that not everything needs a deadline, my to do list will always be full, and that I can accomplish more than I thought.

Pros: The ability to email particular tasks or task categories is a great feature that their competitors seem to struggle / not even bother with. The software is easy to use, simple enough to find your way around and yet complex enough to offer flexibility to work how you wish. Vacation mode is an excellent feature, meaning you can temporarily switch off the target tasks each day that you would otherwise do if in work. It also has apps for iOS, Android and Mac as well as the web version.

Cons: Every once in a while the iOS version will not sync very quickly if you are completing tasks on the web version / Mac version but it's w minor quibble.

Overall: Todoist is the one true app that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Everyone needs a todo app; and this is the one. It gives me back a great deal of time in my day by the ability to add tasks in the app but especially via email from any email

platform. It's a pleasant place to be and yet never draws your attention to it until it's needed and the choice of colour schemes are very welcome. It is simply the best overall todo app, second to none in four years of looking at other products.

Pros: In the paid version, the reminders are a life saver. The notes feature for different tasks lets you give greater context to your task if needed, which is a great feature. You can add links, or other files to the notes section, as well. Those are the two biggest improvements, in my experience, over the free version. The user interface is the definition of simple, and the scheduling features can read your mind! It's like a personal assistant telling you when things need to be done. And the ability to use it across devices is second to none.

For business, the Outlook and Gmail add-ons are a must. The ability to assign tasks directly from email is a beautiful thing.

Cons: This is nitpicky, but I am not really a fan of the optional color schemes. First world problems, am I right? (This shouldn't be a deal breaker for anyone thinking of using Todoist.)

Overall: I have used Todoist for over three years and I have zero complaints about functionality. I cannot think of a bug I have encountered within the app. I have it on every device I own. And the blog is great, too!

Pros: Todoist is free by default with optional premium features. This means you aren't forced to choose one option over the other from the get-go.

The ability to configure dozens of active projects suited for each day, all independent from one another.

Your tasks are synchronized across multiple devices so you can access them on the go.

Email and text notifications are crucial; Todoist handles this like a champ.

Configure recurring and advanced tasks whenever you wish, such as, "the third Monday starting in November."

Colored labeling and the ability to easily rearrange any task.

Sub-tasks and sub-projects mean that you can assign specific names to tasks that are similar in nature, and categorize them accordingly.

Highly competitive pricing.

Cons: Todoist can be overwhelming due to the vast amount of features. It's great for everyday usage; as a highly active person, however, you will likely need to read their documentation sooner or later.

Overall: Increased productivity and feel less overwhelmed completing tasks.

Pros: Ubiquity and ease of use.

Cons: Lack of certain advanced features. More segmentation of teams would be helpful.

Overall: I've used Todoist Premium for about 18 months. I moved from a very popular Mac GTD app because I use Windows at work, an iPhone, Mac and Linux at home, and I wanted an application that worked everywhere. Todoist is great. The web app has been rock solid and that's my primary interface for using Todoist (there are native Mac & Windows apps along with the expected iPhone/Android apps). It's fast, it uses natural language for task input, and it takes very little time to figure out how everything works together. I still miss a couple of features from the Mac app, but the ubiquity of Todoist has proven to be far more important to me.

I mention my previous experience because Todoist for Business is basically Todoist Premium with some slick collaboration features baked into the application. Sharing a project with your team allows the team to comment on the project or any task within the project. You can attach files/images to a task or link Dropbox/Google Drive. There's a great activity log that will show you your activity for the day as well as the activity of your team members. Note: the activity log only displays activity of shared projects to your team. Your personal tasks remain visible only to you.

Todoist for Business doesn't do everything. No Gantt charts, and the segmentation of different teams is clunky in comparison to other project management apps. Todoist also lacks a certain "polish" of other management apps, but I feel this is partially by design. There's a lot of white space, which reduces the amount of clutter. For a couple of members of our team, that was a key feature. "I don't feel overwhelmed when looking at Todoist" was one comment. Customer support has also been great.

You'll also be hard-pressed to find a better deal. It's only $29 per team member for an entire year. If you're on a tight budget, and don't have a lot of teams in your organization, Todoist may be the right choice for you simply for budgetary reasons.

Todoist takes very little time to learn, so the on-boarding time is minimal. We've started using Todoist for Business on a more consistent basis and we're finding that the lack of clutter and advanced features is actually helping us get more done.

Pros: Amazingly easy to set up and get started

Integrates well with your existing software

Has a great feature set that actually makes managing your to-do list a lot easier

The task creation flow is very streamlined and easy to use

Labels + filters + priorities help you quickly organize and sort through your tasks

It's on literally every single platform you can imagine

The Karma point system is strangely motivating, and also provides good metrics to give you insights into how your working

Cons: There are some weird errors on Android that sometimes crash the app

On Android, I can't simply click a link I have stored as a to-do -- I have to edit that item and copy/paste the link into my browser manually which is a pain

The Windows 10 app needs some serious work

Overall: This software really helps me keep my life organized on a day-to-day, hour-to-hour basis. In conjunction with a good calendar and top-level management platform (like Trello) it can really improve your workflow.

Pros: Easy program with not a lot hidden under the surface - consider it your online notepad. Great for coming in and writing down everything you need to do, allows you to organize it by team, who is responsible, timeline, and a progress/series of tasks for more complicated jobs. You can connect multiple teams to accounts to see shared tasks, or create private lists for your eyes only. Has some gameification features built in to encourage regular use especially in a team environment - awards for completing multiple days of tasks, etc.

Cons: If you are a procrastinator, this might not be the program for you! If you don't regularly use the program and build it into your routine, be prepared to be overwhelmed with daily notification about how many tasks you need to do today, and how far you are behind! Can be a little overwhelming when things get busy and timelines fall behind, but to an experienced multi-tasker, this might alleviate forgetting some of those mundane tasks. Completely depends on who you are.

Overall: Helped keep track of tasks when pen/paper wasn't convenient or viable across multiple teams and locations. Keeps you on task and gives you the little satisfaction of checking off something from your list. Keeps you focused on what you need to do rather than what others think you need to do, no more distractions!

Pros: Todoist is the best task manager I have ever used, largely due to its amazing customization, beautiful color coding, and satisfying interface. In my job I often plan follow ups far in advance and act as project manager on complicated jobs--Todoist allows me to schedule things far into the future, put them off when needed, and assign tasks to different teams all in the same place. The comment feature is also key when delegating tasks because it can almost replace an email telling an employee the context of a task. Finally, the "karma" seem gimmicky but, as a goal-oriented person, it actually increased my productivity.

Cons: I only wish Todoist could have a more seamless integration with GCal or have it's own calendar view. If you are trying to plan out a project and working backward from a due date, this kind of view would be really helpful.

Overall: Todoist helps me every day decide what I am going to do and prioritize! I rely on it fully. I always try to get all my coworkers to use it too, as it can be a great collaborative project management tool as well as a task management app.

Pros: Todist is VERY capable software with both solid tech support and a strong cult following will get you up to speed quickly-and tempt you to learn some of its more obscure (but powerful) features. If you're looking for personal management software that works great for teams willing to play your game, look no farther than Todoist.

Cons: Todoist uses a relatively reasonable subscription model; like many, I'm not a huge fan of those automatic payments that sneak up on you and you'll definitely want a paid subscription if you're planning to utilize the full power of Todoist. If you plan to work with a team in Todoist, you have no choice but to pay for their team plan.

When I realized how much time I was spending learning the ins and outs of a clearly powerful bit of software, as the clock on my subscription marched on, I finally determined I would be content with a competitor (Things 3) that offers less power, but it emphasizes the PERSONAL in "personal management" rather than the MANAGEMENT>

Overall: The project planner in me really wants to love Todoist; if you're willing to invest the time to learn its power, it's hard to imagine a more capable personal/team management tool. At the end of the day, I've moved on to a competitor with a dead-simple UX, but Todoist, I will always wish I had more time to fall in love with you.

Pros: I was having problems with other task management software being too convoluted and detailed and feature heavy, and it was hard to stay focused on the big picture of the week. Todoist seems designed to help you feel like you can breathe even when you are swamped. It has built in recommended due date features that seem to know the reality of how much you are committed to already. I love the notes feature, because I can copy in details from related emails or meetings so that everything I need to know can be accessed in one spot BUT it's not in my face all the time. I'm easily distracted because I have so much I want to get done at the same time, but this has really helped me focus and balance my work.

Cons: I want more support and features for smartwatches. I feel like that's where I check things the most, because I'm often on the move when someone asks me what my capacity is or when I can fit in a new project. That said, it is still extremely easy to check.

Overall: I'm focused, I'm organized, and I'm realistic. I end up getting more things done that matter.

Pros: Todoist is a must have app. I've tried a few others but none that is as simple and easy to use as Todoist. I started to first use this app to help me keep track of my personal life. But shortly I found that it could help organize my business routines too. The recurring tasks feature is a tremendous benefit for me. Set it and forget it until you're reminded of the task again. I love the 'karma' feature as well. It helps me keep track of my performance over time. Easily syncs across all my devices and has a robust offline capabilities.

Cons: There is one minor inconvenience when using the software. When you add a new task to a project, you cannot create a sub-category from the get go. So, the new task goes to the bottom of the list. Then you have to scroll to the bottom and drag and drop the task under the sub-category you want to put it in.

Pros: Todist helps people to remember and organize certain tasks. Todist allows to create a task and assign a specific date and deadline and follow up the task and it gives reminders do that people will not forget and will be organised. It can also help in businesses where we will not miss out any task at the end of the day and there will be a self satisfaction. The tasks can be assigned to a tam member as well so a manager will have greater control and can observe the progression of the task. It is convenient to synchronize Todoist in other Communication Tools (Mobile App, Web App). It also gives a graphical representation on the Productivity level this gives an Idea for people on how to Improve the Productivity in the next Task.

Cons: It is better if there is an action to undo any thing if we have made an error. If there is more variety of segmentation it would be useful. It would be more beneficial is a sub category is been given so that the user will not have scroll to the bottom to find out the task created. It would be more beneficial if there is a search tab that is more efficient where we can search task with key words.

Pros: The Todoist app is the only to-do list app on my Android Phone. I love the fact that I can bring it and schedule any tasks anytime and anywhere. Creating a schedule or taks is quick and pretty easy, I can also organize them inside a category or "Projects". I can label them too.

Creating and deleting tasks is a breeze. My productivity rises because of how easy it is.

What I love most about it is the productivity meter. It really motivates me to see it grow. And it usually means that I am productive. Lastly, Todoist is also available on many different platforms like Windows, Mac and Android devices.

Cons: A minor drawback is there are no other ways to view the tasks other than list form. I hope they make other ways to view them.

Overall: I've been using Todoist for more than 2 years now. I am pretty satisfied with it. It helps me become more productive!

Pros: The simplicity. That's what I love most about this product! It is literally and simply an online to-do list. I've tried different online software to help me with time & project management. Most online software in this family offer soooo many features that it's almost overwhelming. Todoist totally bridged the gap for people like me who just want a to do list that I can store online and not lose on a sheet of paper on my desk. You can still create "project titles" and reoccurring tasks in Todoist, but the bottom line is it's simple.

Cons: Some might consider the simplicity of this software to be a drawback as it has less features than other software of its kind. But honestly that's what I like about it.

Overall: I've been using Todoist for about a year now. It's the only time management/project management software that I've stuck to using for so long. And I've gone through so many! I literally cannot live without it! Most of the time I access it through a web browser on my laptop, but it offers an iPhone app as well which I use on occasion. If I think of something I need to do I can add it to Todoist in 10 sec and I'm more likely to not forgot to do whatever the task is. I love Todoist and would highly recommend this wonderful, simple online tool.

Pros: This is perfect for people who are just starting out in their business. Or if you are a student and you need to keep track of class lessons and loads. The price is right...its free. There are upgrades on the phone and tablet app. Look for it on google web store and iOs app store. Just add a task, put a completion time and you will get reminders. I love it.

I personally prefer the desktop and tablet versions. It is the ultimate sticky note for busy people. You can put task by priority with colored and flags and set dates. On the phone version you have the options of themes. I love color.

Cons: I love the desk top and tablet versions. In the past the phone version was a little harder to manage for some reason was not as fluid. It has since improved greatly. So if you have this app and you have not upgraded, do so.

Overall: Well the pricing can be beat its is very easy to use right away, no lag time. The upgrades are a visual treat, but not necessary. It does exactly what you want it to. Perfect for the busy life.

Pros: Todoist is all-around the best task management app out there. I've tried several others throughout the last 8 years or so and I always come right back to Todoist. It has most of the most-valuable features that you need to implement a GTD-like system, or your own customer task management system and keeps me on track with what I need to do.

Cons: Todoist is sometimes slow to implement new and seemingly simple features. I suspect (and have read) that this is due to their base architecture, which they are working on redesigning, but it can be very frustrating sometimes that simple features take years to implement, or even longer. Additionally, the experience on their mobile app is not consistent with the browser/desktop apps which is frustrating because some features (such as sorting in a project) are flat-out missing on mobile.

Pros: Receiving email after email of jobs and tasks can make one feel overwhelmed. Take a deep breath and download Todoist on your phone or access through a browser and one by one, list each job, share it and update it with colleagues, prioritize and set dates, and sleep easier at night knowing you're on track to get it all done. Many features of Todoist are free, enough to get you going to see if you like it before pay subscriptions fees. Even if you choose to subscribe, it's competitively priced. Todoist is more sophisticated than Google Task, and clients will take you more seriously if they see you paying for a service like to Todoist to keep organized.

Cons: For a small business, Todoist is maybe too much. In the end, I found that Google Task was enough for my tasks and job lists. In future I may grow and justify the subscription, but not until that happens. The free version of Todoist does not allow you to track jobs you have checked off your list.

Overall: Todoist was a definite benefit to turn a pile of emails into an organized chart of assignments with a beginning and end. It was great to access on my Iphone before bed, or my web browser at work. Communication and productivity with colleagues and suppliers increased. If I saw another client or supplier using Todoist, I'd respect their efforts of structure and interaction, so it's great for the reputation of any business. Allowing free use initally is an advantage for any small business to evaluate the return on investment. Documenting accomplished jobs helps gauge the level of effectiveness for employees or groups, especially useful at review time.

Pros: Todoist focuses on what's important and the process of adding and organizing tasks is clean, streamlined and concise. I love the quick add feature on the Mac. The integration support to other platforms is also very robust. Team features are great too, assuming your team is willing to adopt the tool.

Cons: Both the desktop and mobile app could improve the way notifications are handled (after a task gets postponed the notification message won't pick that up). The most important thing is including a quick "snooze" option on the notifications, as sometimes I'm in the middle of something and it's cumbersome having to go into the app and push the reminder a few mins out.

Overall: Task management and more importantly scheduled reminders. I use todoist with the GTD core tenant of "getting stuff out of your head" and it really excels at quick capture of tasks and ideas.

Pros: I love simple apps and Todoist is one of them for sure. It's very simple to add tasks, allocating them on projects, prioritizing by labels and color codes. This means that on your mobile phone you can see directly what tasks you have to do for today, on which projects and to arrange them by colour order of importance - red as most important, to white as least. In the last months I added friends to the projects so we can track each other on who does what and when. Very powerful tool to have to clarify your daily life.

Cons: One thing is that if I have a lazy day or an emergency I want to reschedule all tasks for next day. It allows this in a click of a button, but it moves some to other days, based on some sort of algorythm. I would like to choice if to move everything tomorrow or to next days.

And second thing I am really into the karma points, as the heaviness of the tasks is not the same, some take a lot of time but get the same karma points as simple ones.

Pros: Free tier is plenty powerful, with unlimited projects and tasks, a useful selection of filters and labels, a couple Chrome extensions, a Chrome app, apps for all platforms and devices. Many folks will be fine with the free version, but to get e-mail reminders or app notifications, plus custom labels and filters, you'll need to upgrade, and you'll want to. But the Premium version is cheap so it's a no-brainer. The app is intuitive and a joy to use. It integrates with my natural workflow easily, which is not something I can say about any of the other to-do list apps I've tried.

Cons: Hmmm, that's a hard one. Maybe the app could be prettier? It is a little staid in monochrome, no? Paying to get reminders might irritate some folks but in order to keep this gem around, we oughta pay for it, I think.

Pros: - It runs on every platform (web, mobile, pc, mac).

- Great motivation functions (#todoistzero, karma points).

- Lots of articles for users with tips on how to improve productivity.

- You can group tasks in projects.

- You can use tags and filters to see specific tasks.

- Great minimalistic user interface.

- The awesome user experience on mobile apps, I love it.

- 4 priorities for tasks.

- You can use something similar to Markdown in task name and comments.

- You can share and collaborate on tasks and projects with others.

Cons: I was thinking for a few minutes on what are cons of this app. Did not found. There was few in the past, but they fixed it when improving the user experience in the mobile app.

Overall: It is my favourite to do list app. Do not even want to look for a better one. Highly recommended.

Pros: I use the product every. single. day. It's actually the first app I open when I grab my phone each morning. I love that I can use it on every device I touch, whether it's my phone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer and it syncs across all devices. If I can't get to a task today, a simple swipe let's me postpone it to tomorrow or any other day I choose. If I really need to make sure I get a task done, I can have it send me a text, push notification, or email to remind me.

Cons: One feature it has is being able to email a task into a Todoist project, however there is not a static email address (at least that I have found) that I can use to send a task to my inbox. I have to have the app open and click to copy the email address of the specific project each time I want to send an email and import it as a task. Plus, this feature is only available on desktop. Having a static email for my inbox I can send to would make life so much easier.

Pros: There's a lot to love about Todoist. First of all, the interface is simple but powerful. Todoist has a lot to offer in terms of organizing tasks, such as the different folders under "Projects" (which comes pre-set with "Personal," "Shopping," "Work," and "Errands"), "Labels" that you can add to tasks, and "Filters" (which allows you to add stipulations to your tasks, such as "Assigned to me," "Priority [1/2/3/4]," and "No due date."

Todoist also can sort your tasks into "Today" or "Next 7 Days," so you can see what you have to get done today, or get an overview for the week. Users can also set daily goals, or how many tasks per day they wish to complete. Todoist will keep track of how many days in a row you've hit your goal, called a streak. Buying the Todoist premium feature will unlock weekly progress tracking, more theme options, location alerts, and more.

Cons: A lot of Todoist Premium features come for free on other software, including Apple's Reminders app. While it could be a very powerful tool for some, others may consider the free tier to be too limiting.

Pros: - Easily set recurring rhythms by simply keying in things such as "every first workday", "every monday" etc.

- Many products are often either too structured and rigid or too flexible such that you get lost while trying to get it to work. However, Todoist has a great balance of both. There are many guides out there by professionals who have used Todoist for a long time that suggests different ways of utilising Todoist, many of which I've tried and they all are workable and have their pros in their own rights. As such it gives the option to explore what works best for you. But should you just want a simple tool to record down

Cons: When completing a recurring task early, notifications still pop up as reminder when the time comes. But small matter.

Pros: As someone who was covered in sticky notes for years, this app was a godsend. A simple, clean to-do list that I can hotkey and use without taking my fingers off the keyboard. Todoist also does a great job of syncing across platforms, which is something that other products I've tried really struggled with. I use it on several computers and my mobile phone, and it is almost always up to date with my most recent edits. The notifications and labeling functionality is another blessing. Cannot recommendTtodoist enough.

Cons: Sometimes Todoist will fade into the background when I get really "locked in" on a task, and I'll find my laundry list is still untouched when the day is almost over. Mostly a personal problem, but one that I'm sure is common with other users. Perhaps some learning about what I consider "important" (a la G-Mail) would be useful for those of us with a lot of data in Todoist's systems.

Pros: I love everything about Todoist. I tried literally dozens of todo list applications, and all fell short one way or another. Todoist does everything I want: it lets me create and share projects, assign tasks, and put notes in projects and tasks. It's also visually appealing: you can select the theme color for the entire application, and also different project colors which is helpful for different groupings.

Cons: The Google integration could use some work, but it's new, so I'm not too upset over it. Namely, it seems to stumble with shared projects. If Todoist could fix this, it would be truly perfect in every way. Oh and perhaps more color options for themes and projects. If these suggestions sound silly, it's because they are. Todoist is just that good.

A great task management tool for individuals and teams.

Todoist has this capability that can schedule recurring tasks simply by typing "every workday at 6am" and will ensure the task populates every workday at 6am. It allows managers to easily assign tasks and track the progress teams are making on certain tasks.

The comment capabilities and attachment features is a plus too.

Great way to connect teams.

Cons: Not as user friendly for those who are not as familiar with using new applications. Requires more training and getting used to for certain users. Ie: the sub and parent task functionality and keeping everything aligned. But once they get it, it is a hit with them too!

Overall: Time and process efficiency. Teams know what tasks need to be completed when and who is responsible for them.

Pros: In general a great productivity tool. Whether in personal life or for business purposes, making to-do lists has always been a great step towards being organized. The application is a virtual to-do list make with various added features. Most of the features are available free of cost which is always a great point to start for any user. It helps to make lists, points, and keep track of records. The tool is useful even in offline mode. Therefore, no active internet connection is required.

Cons: It lacks customizability. New features for productivity at different departments could have been very useful. The premium version consists of most of the free version tools. Some of the features are really basic and can be accessed elsewhere.

Pros: The simplistic nature of the app is what really got me sticking around for todoist. The clean and easy to use functions on the app really takes the clutter out of an already messy list of things to do!

I also like that I can access the todoist extension on gmail which allows me to directly convert emails on gmail to tasks on todoist! This is a super bonus feature that I love and use on a daily basis.

Cons: Their recent increase in price was a bit of a turn off! I was a loyal subscriber for two years and decided to skip to paid account in my third year. Although I miss some of the features such as note taking, labels (which are powerful if you're an advanced user), I can still get by with the basic features on the free version.

Pros: I like how simple the software is to use, yet how powerful it can be if you want to organize your lists. Just like normal checklists, it feels good to check things off - and as silly as their "Karma" points system is - it actually feels good to see that number climb. I love that the iPhone and Mac app both work seamlessly with one another - I use both nearly every day.

Cons: There are very few cons, as this software is built to do one thing and do it well. But, a minor issue with the iPhone app is that the direction of swiping the to-do items isn't intuitive, and sometimes I end up swiping the wrong direction and doing the wrong action for that item.

Overall: This software helps keep my personal tasks (whether with business or personal life) in order. It lets me put it down somewhere so I don't have to remember those tasks and feel like I'm behind. I can't imagine getting rid of this software, as it does one thing, and does it well - helps me manage all of my to-do lists!

Comments: Staying organized with several tasks is a real challenge nowadays. If you are using Todoist, it's really easy to manage both personal and professional life with Todoist. With Todoist, I can meet my timing.

Pros: Todoist is the app I can't live without it. I use it 10 to 20 times per day. I use Todoist to manage my personal tasks and share to do's with my co-workers for business purposes. Todoist is available on all platforms, yes I mean all platforms such as Android, iOS, Windows, Chrome, etc. The reason why I stick with Todoist for more than 2 years because of it's a simple and clean interface. Todoist natural language detection is also a great feature.

Cons: There is no simple undo available when I delete a task. Their customer service should be improved more.

Pros: Todoist is everywhere, runs on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and is enjoyed by many. The free featureset is quite good, and the premium is even better. It has virtually every feature that you might want from a task manager whether you are a post-it kind of person or a GTD hardcore nerd. Its pervasiveness is important if you add the sharing/collaborating aspects of it, which are quite good.

Cons: I started using Todoist as part of a team and while I do enjoy the clarity it brings to the team, unfortunately it hasn't been able to "bleed" over my personal and other teams work life, for these I use another task manager (I know...). It's multiplatform because it's actually a webview inside an app, and while this is not a bad thing on its own, sometimes it shows and feels very browsery. Also, while Todoist is probably the best choice for most people, I am not that its value proposition is there. Especially during this time where we rent everything from Netflix to cloud storage, another thing to pay just for to-dos seems a bit of an overkill.

Pros: I love the organization. The projects, labels, priorities, and especially the filters have really helped me focus on what's important for a specific type of task on a specific day. I love the ability to customize repeating tasks. This has been a really powerful tool for me the past few months.

Cons: The desktop version is inferior to the web version, in my opinion. On the desktop version, if you're in the middle of typing up a new task, and have to switch windows or click off of the todoist window to check something, the task you've been typing will disappear. This doesn't happen in the web version, the new task will stay put while typing/switching tabs/switching windows. Also, in the web version, the "q" key can be pressed at anytime, no matter where you are in the todoist space, to start quick-adding a new task. In the desktop app, if you're in a filter (where I spend most of my time), pressing "q" does nothing. It was very annoying to have to switch out of a filter in the desktop version to add a quick task.

I've moved to the web version, where I really have no complaints. So I guess it's fine. Just wanted to state that there was definitely a reason for my switch from the desktop to the web version.

Overall: I'm more organized with chores, schoolwork, errands, and every other category of task. It feels so good to not have to re-write recurring tasks every week. I'm doing a lot better this semester, and a lot of that is because of Todoist.

Well satisfied with the features and usefulness, even with the free version.

Pros: Customizeable global keyboard shortcuts to show/hide Todoist and to create a new task

Keyboard shortcuts to start a search, to create a task, to sort, etc.

Inline date parsing when creating a task

Shareable projects, assigning tasks to others

Supports multi-selection--for example to schedule multiple tasks from today to a future date

Still support for legacy Windows version--besides the less-desirable Windows Store version

Cons: No keyboard shortcut for the default homepage view

Slow to start

Not always consistent behaviour--for example, the global keyboard shortcut for creating a new task sometimes only shows the window.

Overall: Keeps my day organized

Helps me to not forget important things

Can be used to plan and manage projects or trips

Pros: Lets you Organize into Projects and sub Projects and then it lets you create tasks or todo and multiple layers of nested Tasks and To-dos. You can set priority, due dates and all kinds of settings on the tasks to make sure you remember to do them and get them done. There is calendar integration as well which is a lifesaver for those of us that live and die by our calendars. The Chrome extension allows me to add webpages as todos and the android app widgit keeps my todos for today right in front of me on my home screen. This is an ecosystem of to-doedness.

Cons: I really have no cons about this app I really love it and it has helped make my life much more organized.

Overall: This is the best of all the todo apps out there and it syncs across all of your devices too. I use it extensively and I love the rewards system for getting your to-dos done it is fantastic positive reinforcement!

Pros: I have been using this for 5 years and it's my daily TODO app. I have used it on my Android phone and MacBook. Interacting with tasks and managing them is so easy. I use it to manage my personal tasks now, but I also used it for the projects and team tasks for 2.5 years. Templates are really useful for such tasks. Labels and task views are handy features. Tasks activity gives you a brief about what's happened. Daily/Weekly goal and Karma features keep you motivated. A big thing, it supports natural language while adding tasks. That's super useful.

Cons: Location-based notifications sometimes felt sluggish, but that was okay. The free version doesn't have reminders, that's poor.

Pros: It supports all platforms you can think of (including great Windows 10 UWP app), it tries to recognize words like today, tomorrow, it has projects and sub-projects, tags, etc. The Software can easily fully support GTD methodology, it is fast and has reliable syncing. Support from Doist has, so far, been great and prompt.

Cons: Interface between different versions is not consistent. E.g. Windows UWP app looks quite different to Android app (it is better looking definitely) so it takes time to switch from one version to another.

Overall: I was looking for a software that can support my GTD productivity methodology and couldn't find one for a long time. I stumbled upon Toxicity reading a review on one of 5he sites related to productivity and decided to give it a try. It had been indispensable tool for me since, I use it to organize my personal and business life each day. It mad emergency more reproductive and helped me to stick to my obligations.
