Pros: I've used several "To-Do" list apps in the past, but none of them have ever stuck, until ToDoist. What started as a way for me to keep track of work tasks quickly became my go-to app for keeping me honest with my never-ending list of to-dos both in business and personal life. The ability to create multiple to-do lists and share them with multiple (and unique) people sets us up for success and accountability. I also love being able to assign a task to somebody on the shared list and provide a due date for each individual task. I've also connected ToDoist to my Amazon Echo Dot, so I can ask support team to add items to my shopping list or tasks to my to-do list. When a task is completed and checked off by someone other than me, I love that I get a mobile push notification confirming that fact, in real time. Finally, having the app on my phone along with on my iMac makes for seamless use regardless of where I'm currently working. Overall, I've been very satisfied with ToDoist!

Cons: There are some quirks to the program, but nothing that turns me off from using it. For example, each list is considered a "Project" and each project can have sub-categories. When adding a new task to a project, you are not given the option of a sub-category. Therefore, the task defaults to the bottom of the list. You then have to scroll to the bottom and drag/drop the task under the sub-category you want it to be in. I sometimes accidentally drop it in a fashion that it creates a sub-sub-category and then I have to manually change everything in that sub-category back over. I also have not found value to the Productivity Score I am given on a daily basis, along with a lifetime score. I appreciate the psychological benefit of game-ifying your to-do list, but it's just not something I find necessary.

Overall: ToDoist has allowed me to keep track of my endless list of to-dos across both my business and personal life.

Pros: *Flexibility You can use browser, android, ios, windows, mac device, apple watch, android wear or even use a gmail or outlook. Todoist is right there for you. *UI It has the most welcoming UI of all todo managers. Of course, tastes are different. But I believe, no-one would disagree that Todoist is well made and developed with Love. *Scalability and features No being a full scale CRM does not stop Todoist from having everything you might want to have for your everyday simple lists, reminders and tasks. Todoist offers such features as a great approach to structure of tasks, flawless work on the prioritizing tasks and creating simple lists. *Integrations and little things Todoist offers a broad range of features out of the box, such as projects, links as tasks, scheduling and calendar integration. You always forget to pick up or buy something. Or want to prepare for the day by creating a simple todo - this app is for YOU.

Cons: 1. More integrations needed. First of all calendars - at the moment the work there is mostly messy and is not optimized. It would be nice to have it in a compact and comfortable tab (calendar tab) and also add calendars on the go and display tasks or meeting in todoist. That would be a huge leap ahead. 2. Pricing of Todoist is not smart, to my humble opinion. First of all, they don't offer monthly payments, why not? Yes, I agree it's cheaper to pay for a year. But what if I am not sure. There are many todo apps and the pricing might be the only thing that would stop people from using todoist constantly, students for example. Would it not be nice to have more flexibility and options there.

The Todoist for Web changelog contains details for the web, plugin, and desktop versions of Todoist.

Cons: Not a straightforward way to sign up with an existing account on an Android app.

The trial requires a credit card info although it is easy to cancel.

An Android app does not move to the SD card.

Free version for Android lacks reminders/alerts.

It limits the list to 200 active projects and tasks per project in the premium version. It should be unlimited.

2048 characters per task name and 255 characters per project name It should be more than that.

The interface takes some time to master and lacks consistency.

The calendar feature is missing.

Personal and business lists are not plainly separated.

Overall: Todoist is great for scheduling and deadlines and is an excellent collaboration tool. It is available on many platforms both online and offline, easily syncs and has an offline functionality.

As a productivity tool, Todoist is great for teams allowing 50 people per project. It features the centralized team billing, management log-in tracking and priority support at an affordable price. It takes some thought and time to customize and use the product.

The free version is restrictive, but the paid version offers a 30-day trial that uses a credit card information and is easy to cancel. Also, it is relatively affordable with a monthly plan. I highly recommend Todoist for freelancers, small, medium, and even large businesses.

Pros: I enjoy the incredible language recognition that makes it easy to capture tasks, set due dates, priorities, organize tasks by project, and apply custom labels to tasks. It's very simple and easy to use, which is uncommon among professional project management apps.

It is easy to break projects into sub-projects, and use sub-tasks to help break big tasks into manageable pieces. This makes it a perfect fit for small businesses or teams.

It also has great collaboration features, such as sharing tasks with others, assigning tasks and sub-tasks to individuals, and attaching files and comments to tasks or projects.

Todoist has an app for every operating system, including browsers, phones, desktops, the web, and even smart watches. I personally love the Chrome browser extension and Gmail integration.

I love the custom filters, they are incredibly powerful and allow you to build your own workflows. I use filters and labels to organize my tasks by location, by priority, by the amount of time each task will take, and by due date.

Todoist integrates with many other products such as Google Calendar, DropBox, Google Drive, Slack, Google Assistant, and dozens more. Todoist works hard to be everywhere and integrate with everything, making it a really powerful tool.

Cons: Todoist only lets you view your tasks in list form. Most project planning tools give you a calendar view, a Kanban board view, or some other types of visualizations.

You also can't set due dates on projects themselves, and don't have a way to mark a project as completed. You can compensate for this by using sub-tasks instead, but it can get annoying at times.

The UI is very simple, and doesn't give you much control over themes. You can change the color of the title bar, but that's about it.

Overall: I've used Todoist for over 4 years, and it helps me manage both my work and personal projects. I use it for everything from grocery lists to large software development projects, and it works great no matter how big the project gets.

The flexibility has made a huge difference. Over the years I've changed the way I work, and instead of having to go search for a new app, I can just change the labels and filters that I use to create a completely different workflow.

I love that I can access my tasks and projects on my computer, phone, tablet, and even directly within Gmail. This makes it a great place to capture things that I want to do later. It's helped me stay on top of things and succeed in school, work, and at home.

Comments: Todoist has evolved with some features since I first used it. I wanted a "To Do" list a while back to monitor and track certain projects and ideas. Instead of a stand alone "To Do" list I wanted something that allowed me to add others and use it as a shareable and collaborative tool. Todoist was able to do just that. And I find it easy to use, setup and work with. If you have ever used a "To Do" list, this will be second nature. I have not tried the Premium or Business levels, but from what I am able to see, they are also very powerful and useful, as long as you can operate your business or projects as "To Do" lists.

Pros: Todoist is a simple as it gets. It is a glorified "To Do" list with features that makes life easier. What makes Todoist superior to your average "To Do" list is its ability to group, categorize, and use filters. While these feature do exist in other basic "To Do" list, they do not have the same simple and intuitive interface of Todoist. And this is just the free version. Want to create "Projects" and track them as a "To Do" list, you can do it here... with ease. There are also many settings features and options, like import/export, sorting, and more. Want more power? Upgrade to Premium and get extras like labels, commenting and much more. Todoist also has Business accounts for all out collaboration among teams where projects can be managed via a "To Do" list format.

Cons: There are no cons I can see other than the somewhat tricky perception that features listed on the app while using the free version are actually part of premium. When using Todoist's free version, if you click on the visible links to add a filter or label, you are presented with a pop-up that tells you it is a premium version. Sort of a cross-sell there, which I often find a bit deceitful. But please, do not get me wrong. If such features are needed, it is worth the upgrade.

Pros: - Amazing way to sort lists - you can have projects and labels (labels only available in the paid subscription). I am looking into the GTD model by David Allen and labels are used as "contexts" - meaning that I have things to do in certain environments or contexts. I have list for things I need to do in the office, or at home, or on the computer, or at the grocery store, or at my kid's school. Once you are in a particular context, you look to your label for things you need to do at that particular place - Projects are a great way to organize yourself, having the ability to see updates for a particular project is really convenient - A vast list of shortcuts to improve efficiency -Drag and drop features make it convenient to sort your lists/projects -Date reminder - as soon as you have an item to do and input a date/time, the app understands this and generates a reminder for the task at that particular date/time, which is really cool! -Sharing projects - if someone else has the app, you can share a project in real time - Can access the app across devices

Cons: -Dates - sometimes I don't want the date to be included as a reminder but the app always translates the date as such and would be nice if I could hit the backspace on the app and it would understand that it is not something I want as a reminder -Checklists - would be good if Todoist integrated checklists like Google Keep where you can copy and paste lists from a text message and Todoist would interpret each line as a separate list item or give you the option to paste it as separate items or one list

Pros: The hands-down best two features of this application are the chrome extension and the mobile app. It's so easy to pop open either way and start to put in what your tasks are or even better know what still needs to be done and then click the check mark to say it's done. The schedule feature could not be any easier to use to set your date and time. Just type in plain English and bam it understand it and schedules it. If you want to know what still needs to be done then just click it open and you see at a glance everything you still need to do. I love the feature to re-schedule things you can get done, it's a click of one button, and it puts them in the best time slots it thinks you will get them done. Since it is using AI, it gets better over time at knowing your time schedule tendencies.

Cons: Since it uses AI at first it's not that good at re-scheduling items for it just puts them on the next day. At times it does not fully understand what time and date your putting in and seems to get confused when you are on the mobile app.

Overall: Todo list has helped me get back control of my time when it comes to task scheduling and being able to not have things full thru the cracks. I am so much more efficient.

Pros: One of the things that me and my team enjoyed the most was the ease of use, that starts as a task tracker but evolves into more complex settings. Also, there is a lot of information on how to set it up according to your personal or professional needs. Only the paid versions let you modify some setups, but for its cost it's worth the investment.

Another interesting thing is that it lets you live with two profiles on the same platform, your personal one and your business one which helps ease switching accounts or apps between your personal "shopping list" and your projects

Cons: There are few things me and my team didn't like, and it's mostly a lack of things that some other PM tools have, such as a timeline view for project completion and advancements.

Overall: I've first used Todoist as a personal task tracker, and seen it evolve into a more powerful platform. I gave it a test with my company (marketing agency and also an investment fund) and use it with my team. I am very pleased about all its easy integrations, very straightforward UX and a big complete help center with a lot of information to help you right configuration.

Pros: The ability to email particular tasks or task categories is a great feature that their competitors seem to struggle / not even bother with. The software is easy to use, simple enough to find your way around and yet complex enough to offer flexibility to work how you wish. Vacation mode is an excellent feature, meaning you can temporarily switch off the target tasks each day that you would otherwise do if in work. It also has apps for iOS, Android and Mac as well as the web version.

Cons: Every once in a while the iOS version will not sync very quickly if you are completing tasks on the web version / Mac version but it's w minor quibble.

Overall: Todoist is the one true app that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Everyone needs a todo app; and this is the one. It gives me back a great deal of time in my day by the ability to add tasks in the app but especially via email from any email

platform. It's a pleasant place to be and yet never draws your attention to it until it's needed and the choice of colour schemes are very welcome. It is simply the best overall todo app, second to none in four years of looking at other products.

Pros: In the paid version, the reminders are a life saver. The notes feature for different tasks lets you give greater context to your task if needed, which is a great feature. You can add links, or other files to the notes section, as well. Those are the two biggest improvements, in my experience, over the free version. The user interface is the definition of simple, and the scheduling features can read your mind! It's like a personal assistant telling you when things need to be done. And the ability to use it across devices is second to none.

For business, the Outlook and Gmail add-ons are a must. The ability to assign tasks directly from email is a beautiful thing.

Cons: This is nitpicky, but I am not really a fan of the optional color schemes. First world problems, am I right? (This shouldn't be a deal breaker for anyone thinking of using Todoist.)

Overall: I have used Todoist for over three years and I have zero complaints about functionality. I cannot think of a bug I have encountered within the app. I have it on every device I own. And the blog is great, too!

Pros: Todoist is free by default with optional premium features. This means you aren't forced to choose one option over the other from the get-go.

The ability to configure dozens of active projects suited for each day, all independent from one another.

Your tasks are synchronized across multiple devices so you can access them on the go.

Email and text notifications are crucial; Todoist handles this like a champ.

Configure recurring and advanced tasks whenever you wish, such as, "the third Monday starting in November."

Colored labeling and the ability to easily rearrange any task.

Sub-tasks and sub-projects mean that you can assign specific names to tasks that are similar in nature, and categorize them accordingly.

Highly competitive pricing.

Cons: Todoist can be overwhelming due to the vast amount of features. It's great for everyday usage; as a highly active person, however, you will likely need to read their documentation sooner or later.

Overall: Increased productivity and feel less overwhelmed completing tasks.

Pros: Ubiquity and ease of use.

Cons: Lack of certain advanced features. More segmentation of teams would be helpful.

Overall: I've used Todoist Premium for about 18 months. I moved from a very popular Mac GTD app because I use Windows at work, an iPhone, Mac and Linux at home, and I wanted an application that worked everywhere. Todoist is great. The web app has been rock solid and that's my primary interface for using Todoist (there are native Mac & Windows apps along with the expected iPhone/Android apps). It's fast, it uses natural language for task input, and it takes very little time to figure out how everything works together. I still miss a couple of features from the Mac app, but the ubiquity of Todoist has proven to be far more important to me.

I mention my previous experience because Todoist for Business is basically Todoist Premium with some slick collaboration features baked into the application. Sharing a project with your team allows the team to comment on the project or any task within the project. You can attach files/images to a task or link Dropbox/Google Drive. There's a great activity log that will show you your activity for the day as well as the activity of your team members. Note: the activity log only displays activity of shared projects to your team. Your personal tasks remain visible only to you.

Todoist for Business doesn't do everything. No Gantt charts, and the segmentation of different teams is clunky in comparison to other project management apps. Todoist also lacks a certain "polish" of other management apps, but I feel this is partially by design. There's a lot of white space, which reduces the amount of clutter. For a couple of members of our team, that was a key feature. "I don't feel overwhelmed when looking at Todoist" was one comment. Customer support has also been great.

You'll also be hard-pressed to find a better deal. It's only $29 per team member for an entire year. If you're on a tight budget, and don't have a lot of teams in your organization, Todoist may be the right choice for you simply for budgetary reasons.

Todoist takes very little time to learn, so the on-boarding time is minimal. We've started using Todoist for Business on a more consistent basis and we're finding that the lack of clutter and advanced features is actually helping us get more done.

Pros: Amazingly easy to set up and get started

Integrates well with your existing software

Has a great feature set that actually makes managing your to-do list a lot easier

The task creation flow is very streamlined and easy to use

Labels + filters + priorities help you quickly organize and sort through your tasks

It's on literally every single platform you can imagine

The Karma point system is strangely motivating, and also provides good metrics to give you insights into how your working

Cons: There are some weird errors on Android that sometimes crash the app

On Android, I can't simply click a link I have stored as a to-do -- I have to edit that item and copy/paste the link into my browser manually which is a pain

The Windows 10 app needs some serious work

Overall: This software really helps me keep my life organized on a day-to-day, hour-to-hour basis. In conjunction with a good calendar and top-level management platform (like Trello) it can really improve your workflow.

Pros: Easy program with not a lot hidden under the surface - consider it your online notepad. Great for coming in and writing down everything you need to do, allows you to organize it by team, who is responsible, timeline, and a progress/series of tasks for more complicated jobs. You can connect multiple teams to accounts to see shared tasks, or create private lists for your eyes only. Has some gameification features built in to encourage regular use especially in a team environment - awards for completing multiple days of tasks, etc.

Cons: If you are a procrastinator, this might not be the program for you! If you don't regularly use the program and build it into your routine, be prepared to be overwhelmed with daily notification about how many tasks you need to do today, and how far you are behind! Can be a little overwhelming when things get busy and timelines fall behind, but to an experienced multi-tasker, this might alleviate forgetting some of those mundane tasks. Completely depends on who you are.

Overall: Helped keep track of tasks when pen/paper wasn't convenient or viable across multiple teams and locations. Keeps you on task and gives you the little satisfaction of checking off something from your list. Keeps you focused on what you need to do rather than what others think you need to do, no more distractions!

Pros: Todoist is the best task manager I have ever used, largely due to its amazing customization, beautiful color coding, and satisfying interface. In my job I often plan follow ups far in advance and act as project manager on complicated jobs--Todoist allows me to schedule things far into the future, put them off when needed, and assign tasks to different teams all in the same place. The comment feature is also key when delegating tasks because it can almost replace an email telling an employee the context of a task. Finally, the "karma" seem gimmicky but, as a goal-oriented person, it actually increased my productivity.

Cons: I only wish Todoist could have a more seamless integration with GCal or have it's own calendar view. If you are trying to plan out a project and working backward from a due date, this kind of view would be really helpful.

Overall: Todoist helps me every day decide what I am going to do and prioritize! I rely on it fully. I always try to get all my coworkers to use it too, as it can be a great collaborative project management tool as well as a task management app.

Pros: I was having problems with other task management software being too convoluted and detailed and feature heavy, and it was hard to stay focused on the big picture of the week. Todoist seems designed to help you feel like you can breathe even when you are swamped. It has built in recommended due date features that seem to know the reality of how much you are committed to already. I love the notes feature, because I can copy in details from related emails or meetings so that everything I need to know can be accessed in one spot BUT it's not in my face all the time. I'm easily distracted because I have so much I want to get done at the same time, but this has really helped me focus and balance my work.

Cons: I want more support and features for smartwatches. I feel like that's where I check things the most, because I'm often on the move when someone asks me what my capacity is or when I can fit in a new project. That said, it is still extremely easy to check.

Overall: I'm focused, I'm organized, and I'm realistic. I end up getting more things done that matter.

Pros: Todoist is a must have app. I've tried a few others but none that is as simple and easy to use as Todoist. I started to first use this app to help me keep track of my personal life. But shortly I found that it could help organize my business routines too. The recurring tasks feature is a tremendous benefit for me. Set it and forget it until you're reminded of the task again. I love the 'karma' feature as well. It helps me keep track of my performance over time. Easily syncs across all my devices and has a robust offline capabilities.

Cons: There is one minor inconvenience when using the software. When you add a new task to a project, you cannot create a sub-category from the get go. So, the new task goes to the bottom of the list. Then you have to scroll to the bottom and drag and drop the task under the sub-category you want to put it in.

Pros: The Todoist app is the only to-do list app on my Android Phone. I love the fact that I can bring it and schedule any tasks anytime and anywhere. Creating a schedule or taks is quick and pretty easy, I can also organize them inside a category or "Projects". I can label them too.

Creating and deleting tasks is a breeze. My productivity rises because of how easy it is.

What I love most about it is the productivity meter. It really motivates me to see it grow. And it usually means that I am productive. Lastly, Todoist is also available on many different platforms like Windows, Mac and Android devices.

Cons: A minor drawback is there are no other ways to view the tasks other than list form. I hope they make other ways to view them.

Overall: I've been using Todoist for more than 2 years now. I am pretty satisfied with it. It helps me become more productive!

Pros: Receiving email after email of jobs and tasks can make one feel overwhelmed. Take a deep breath and download Todoist on your phone or access through a browser and one by one, list each job, share it and update it with colleagues, prioritize and set dates, and sleep easier at night knowing you're on track to get it all done. Many features of Todoist are free, enough to get you going to see if you like it before pay subscriptions fees. Even if you choose to subscribe, it's competitively priced. Todoist is more sophisticated than Google Task, and clients will take you more seriously if they see you paying for a service like to Todoist to keep organized.

Cons: For a small business, Todoist is maybe too much. In the end, I found that Google Task was enough for my tasks and job lists. In future I may grow and justify the subscription, but not until that happens. The free version of Todoist does not allow you to track jobs you have checked off your list.

Overall: Todoist was a definite benefit to turn a pile of emails into an organized chart of assignments with a beginning and end. It was great to access on my Iphone before bed, or my web browser at work. Communication and productivity with colleagues and suppliers increased. If I saw another client or supplier using Todoist, I'd respect their efforts of structure and interaction, so it's great for the reputation of any business. Allowing free use initally is an advantage for any small business to evaluate the return on investment. Documenting accomplished jobs helps gauge the level of effectiveness for employees or groups, especially useful at review time.

Pros: Sometimes you personally or your team on the job can be very overburdened with work and different tasks and when it happens it is very hard to get out of all these. And exactly such situation happened with the company of mine and was solved thanks to Todoist. This software suggested their services just in the moment of need. The supporting team helped us to deal with all our problems and pack all of them in the tickets that eventually helped us to get rid of the mess and start solving all the problems.

Cons: In spite of the fact that everything works fine at least for this very moment, I am starting to worry a bit about changing the operating system of all our computers, I heard some rumors that this program can work the different way on the different operating system, but maybe it is just rumored, will see.

Pros: I love simple apps and Todoist is one of them for sure. It's very simple to add tasks, allocating them on projects, prioritizing by labels and color codes. This means that on your mobile phone you can see directly what tasks you have to do for today, on which projects and to arrange them by colour order of importance - red as most important, to white as least. In the last months I added friends to the projects so we can track each other on who does what and when. Very powerful tool to have to clarify your daily life.

Cons: One thing is that if I have a lazy day or an emergency I want to reschedule all tasks for next day. It allows this in a click of a button, but it moves some to other days, based on some sort of algorythm. I would like to choice if to move everything tomorrow or to next days.

And second thing I am really into the karma points, as the heaviness of the tasks is not the same, some take a lot of time but get the same karma points as simple ones.

Pros: Free tier is plenty powerful, with unlimited projects and tasks, a useful selection of filters and labels, a couple Chrome extensions, a Chrome app, apps for all platforms and devices. Many folks will be fine with the free version, but to get e-mail reminders or app notifications, plus custom labels and filters, you'll need to upgrade, and you'll want to. But the Premium version is cheap so it's a no-brainer. The app is intuitive and a joy to use. It integrates with my natural workflow easily, which is not something I can say about any of the other to-do list apps I've tried.

Cons: Hmmm, that's a hard one. Maybe the app could be prettier? It is a little staid in monochrome, no? Paying to get reminders might irritate some folks but in order to keep this gem around, we oughta pay for it, I think.

Pros: There's a lot to love about Todoist. First of all, the interface is simple but powerful. Todoist has a lot to offer in terms of organizing tasks, such as the different folders under "Projects" (which comes pre-set with "Personal," "Shopping," "Work," and "Errands"), "Labels" that you can add to tasks, and "Filters" (which allows you to add stipulations to your tasks, such as "Assigned to me," "Priority [1/2/3/4]," and "No due date."

Todoist also can sort your tasks into "Today" or "Next 7 Days," so you can see what you have to get done today, or get an overview for the week. Users can also set daily goals, or how many tasks per day they wish to complete. Todoist will keep track of how many days in a row you've hit your goal, called a streak. Buying the Todoist premium feature will unlock weekly progress tracking, more theme options, location alerts, and more.

Cons: A lot of Todoist Premium features come for free on other software, including Apple's Reminders app. While it could be a very powerful tool for some, others may consider the free tier to be too limiting.

Pros: As someone who was covered in sticky notes for years, this app was a godsend. A simple, clean to-do list that I can hotkey and use without taking my fingers off the keyboard. Todoist also does a great job of syncing across platforms, which is something that other products I've tried really struggled with. I use it on several computers and my mobile phone, and it is almost always up to date with my most recent edits. The notifications and labeling functionality is another blessing. Cannot recommendTtodoist enough.

Cons: Sometimes Todoist will fade into the background when I get really "locked in" on a task, and I'll find my laundry list is still untouched when the day is almost over. Mostly a personal problem, but one that I'm sure is common with other users. Perhaps some learning about what I consider "important" (a la G-Mail) would be useful for those of us with a lot of data in Todoist's systems.

Pros: I love everything about Todoist. I tried literally dozens of todo list applications, and all fell short one way or another. Todoist does everything I want: it lets me create and share projects, assign tasks, and put notes in projects and tasks. It's also visually appealing: you can select the theme color for the entire application, and also different project colors which is helpful for different groupings.

Cons: The Google integration could use some work, but it's new, so I'm not too upset over it. Namely, it seems to stumble with shared projects. If Todoist could fix this, it would be truly perfect in every way. Oh and perhaps more color options for themes and projects. If these suggestions sound silly, it's because they are. Todoist is just that good.

Pros: I really enjoy the different scheduling, assigning, tracking tools available for Premium (Business). I like that you don't have to click so many places to get a task configured too.

Todoist has this capability that can schedule recurring tasks simply by typing "every workday at 6am" and will ensure the task populates every workday at 6am. It allows managers to easily assign tasks and track the progress teams are making on certain tasks.

The comment capabilities and attachment features is a plus too.

Great way to connect teams.

Cons: Not as user friendly for those who are not as familiar with using new applications. Requires more training and getting used to for certain users. Ie: the sub and parent task functionality and keeping everything aligned. But once they get it, it is a hit with them too!

Overall: Time and process efficiency. Teams know what tasks need to be completed when and who is responsible for them.

Pros: I use this platform both for project management and for all personal tasks. I am glad that I can use the program on my mobile phone, in mailboxes or in web browsers it is very convenient. A simple format, the process of adding and completing tasks is a convenience for the user that you can get. The program helps us to create a project and make it more beautiful. You will have many things in one place. It is very easy to manage all records. An easy way to use video. This platform helps me stay organized and allows me to store all the tasks that I need.

Cons: All working tools are powerful and work well. But it will be much better if we can create a more colorful project. I wish I could add other colors as a background. I do not like that many of the functions that I want to use are hidden behind the paid version. I would really like to be able to add notes to assignments in the free version.

Pros: In general a great productivity tool. Whether in personal life or for business purposes, making to-do lists has always been a great step towards being organized. The application is a virtual to-do list make with various added features. Most of the features are available free of cost which is always a great point to start for any user. It helps to make lists, points, and keep track of records. The tool is useful even in offline mode. Therefore, no active internet connection is required.

Cons: It lacks customizability. New features for productivity at different departments could have been very useful. The premium version consists of most of the free version tools. Some of the features are really basic and can be accessed elsewhere.

Pros: The simplistic nature of the app is what really got me sticking around for todoist. The clean and easy to use functions on the app really takes the clutter out of an already messy list of things to do!

I also like that I can access the todoist extension on gmail which allows me to directly convert emails on gmail to tasks on todoist! This is a super bonus feature that I love and use on a daily basis.

Cons: Their recent increase in price was a bit of a turn off! I was a loyal subscriber for two years and decided to skip to paid account in my third year. Although I miss some of the features such as note taking, labels (which are powerful if you're an advanced user), I can still get by with the basic features on the free version.

Pros: I like how simple the software is to use, yet how powerful it can be if you want to organize your lists. Just like normal checklists, it feels good to check things off - and as silly as their "Karma" points system is - it actually feels good to see that number climb. I love that the iPhone and Mac app both work seamlessly with one another - I use both nearly every day.

Cons: There are very few cons, as this software is built to do one thing and do it well. But, a minor issue with the iPhone app is that the direction of swiping the to-do items isn't intuitive, and sometimes I end up swiping the wrong direction and doing the wrong action for that item.

Overall: This software helps keep my personal tasks (whether with business or personal life) in order. It lets me put it down somewhere so I don't have to remember those tasks and feel like I'm behind. I can't imagine getting rid of this software, as it does one thing, and does it well - helps me manage all of my to-do lists!

Pros: Todoist is everywhere, runs on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and is enjoyed by many. The free featureset is quite good, and the premium is even better. It has virtually every feature that you might want from a task manager whether you are a post-it kind of person or a GTD hardcore nerd. Its pervasiveness is important if you add the sharing/collaborating aspects of it, which are quite good.

Cons: I started using Todoist as part of a team and while I do enjoy the clarity it brings to the team, unfortunately it hasn't been able to "bleed" over my personal and other teams work life, for these I use another task manager (I know...). It's multiplatform because it's actually a webview inside an app, and while this is not a bad thing on its own, sometimes it shows and feels very browsery. Also, while Todoist is probably the best choice for most people, I am not that its value proposition is there. Especially during this time where we rent everything from Netflix to cloud storage, another thing to pay just for to-dos seems a bit of an overkill.

Pros: I love the organization. The projects, labels, priorities, and especially the filters have really helped me focus on what's important for a specific type of task on a specific day. I love the ability to customize repeating tasks. This has been a really powerful tool for me the past few months.

Cons: The desktop version is inferior to the web version, in my opinion. On the desktop version, if you're in the middle of typing up a new task, and have to switch windows or click off of the todoist window to check something, the task you've been typing will disappear. This doesn't happen in the web version, the new task will stay put while typing/switching tabs/switching windows. Also, in the web version, the "q" key can be pressed at anytime, no matter where you are in the todoist space, to start quick-adding a new task. In the desktop app, if you're in a filter (where I spend most of my time), pressing "q" does nothing. It was very annoying to have to switch out of a filter in the desktop version to add a quick task.

I've moved to the web version, where I really have no complaints. So I guess it's fine. Just wanted to state that there was definitely a reason for my switch from the desktop to the web version.

Overall: I'm more organized with chores, schoolwork, errands, and every other category of task. It feels so good to not have to re-write recurring tasks every week. I'm doing a lot better this semester, and a lot of that is because of Todoist.

Well satisfied with the features and usefulness, even with the free version.

Pros: Customizeable global keyboard shortcuts to show/hide Todoist and to create a new task

Keyboard shortcuts to start a search, to create a task, to sort, etc.

Inline date parsing when creating a task

Shareable projects, assigning tasks to others

Still support for legacy Windows version--besides the less-desirable Windows Store version

Cons: No keyboard shortcut for the default homepage view

Pros: Lets you Organize into Projects and sub Projects and then it lets you create tasks or todo and multiple layers of nested Tasks and To-dos. You can set priority, due dates and all kinds of settings on the tasks to make sure you remember to do them and get them done. There is calendar integration as well which is a lifesaver for those of us that live and die by our calendars. The Chrome extension allows me to add webpages as todos and the android app widgit keeps my todos for today right in front of me on my home screen. This is an ecosystem of to-doedness.

Cons: I really have no cons about this app I really love it and it has helped make my life much more organized.

Overall: This is the best of all the todo apps out there and it syncs across all of your devices too. I use it extensively and I love the rewards system for getting your to-dos done it is fantastic positive reinforcement!

Pros: It supports all platforms you can think of (including great Windows 10 UWP app), it tries to recognize words like today, tomorrow, it has projects and sub-projects, tags, etc. The Software can easily fully support GTD methodology, it is fast and has reliable syncing. Support from Doist has, so far, been great and prompt.

Cons: Interface between different versions is not consistent. E.g. Windows UWP app looks quite different to Android app (it is better looking definitely) so it takes time to switch from one version to another.

Overall: I was looking for a software that can support my GTD productivity methodology and couldn't find one for a long time. I stumbled upon Toxicity reading a review on one of 5he sites related to productivity and decided to give it a try. It had been indispensable tool for me since, I use it to organize my personal and business life each day. It mad emergency more reproductive and helped me to stick to my obligations.

Pros: Todoist is incredibly simple at its base: it's just a list of items that can be checked and dated. With more nuance, you can have collaboration and nested tasks. It's also incredibly cheap being right around ~2 a month for premium. I think the premium is worth it if you're dedicated to using the platform, but likely not if you're just trying to track a single project or doing strictly personal things.

Cons: The collaboration isn't the best feature, so it's not great when being used between teams. Also, the navigation and depth that you can create with tasks is a bit limiting. I wish there were some better visualization options as well outside of just a task list (gantt chart?)

Pros: Whilst some task management apps are stuffed with features, Todoist focuses on doing the important things really well. It's simplicity is so helpful, yet it's powerful too. The 'karma' system is a helpful game-ified way of increasing productivity, too!

Cons: One feature that would make a difference for me would be the ability to add multiple assignees to a task - this would avoid having to find workarounds. But this is the only drawback I have!

Overall: I use Todoist every single day for all of my personal task management - but I also use it when working with teams. I've used many task and to-do apps, but gone cold with them after time. However, with Todoist, I've used it for 3 years straight, with no signs of slowing down!

Pros: Todoist allows me to share tasks across all platforms and integrates well with Microsoft Outlook. I have used both the free version and the premium version. Cons: The only thing it's missing is integration with my Icloud calendar. Other than that, it fulfills all of my requirements.

Pros: Todoist might not be the best productivity software out there on the market right now, but it is very, very good - if not great.

Mostly, it's simple and easy to use. I had been using Todoist for over a year without problems and it is a significant upgrade over other basic note-taking software such as Google Keep.

Todoist allows me to organize tasks in a variety of ways. The search tool also helps me identify topics and tasks quickly. I can share my lists, which is always a benefit.

And one of the best features you'll find at Todoist and not with others is that there is a level of gamificiation involved that helps reward you for your productivity - awesome!

Cons: There are a couple of things that separate Todoist from the rest:

Firstly, the free version is very limited. In comparison to other note-taking apps (that have HEAPS of customization options even for free users), free users of Todoist are limited heavily.

And then there's the fact that even if you are a premium user, other software does a LOT more than Todoist. But if you're looking for a simple and convenient productivity software, Todoist should be on your list.

Pros: I like the Karma points and the task scheduler feature. The Karma points helps me see my progress in managing my tasks and gives me a sense of accomplishment and measures my productivity which lacks in most of the task apps out there. The easy scheduler helps me easily move my tasks to desired dates and the way they built it in the mobile app is very seamless.

Cons: Although you can already make an email into tasks when I use my Gmail, I wanted the task to remain an email in a task not fully convert it into task so that I can reply to it or to forward it to someone.

Overall: Easily create tasks and manage it seamlessly with a productivity meter to see how well you do.

I think it's a great product so I paid for the Premium every year. Totally worth it.

Pros: It has the best integratiosn with Amazon Echo hands down. It is a great app, but I did have trouble choosing between it and other options. Now that I can use it completely hands free with Alexa, it is a no brainer and works seamlessly. Even if you don't use this integration and are struggling to choose as I was, you'll have no regrets about going with todoist.

Cons: Sometimes it is a little hard to get a sense of how exactly you should be using it and setting up all the different tasks. The iPhone app could be set up better, but this is quite minor and is likely more a flaw of not committing to learning exactly how best to use the app.

Overall: It has been the best thing ever to pair with my virtual assistant. Using the native Echo app can be a little tiresome, but after automating things and being able to talk and essentially take notes on things I have to do while at my desk, and easily reviewing these on my phone while running errands has been one of the best small life changes you don't appreciate until you experience it.

Pros: It is available on almost any platform you can think of. When writing you can use certain characters as shortcuts for all sorts of meaning, lime labels, due date, project, priority. You can easily divide or sort tasks in different projects and categories. Going through the process you can earn points and see how you claim your productivity "tree". It is very easy to write a complete task with its different traits.

You can easily create tasks from any directions by sharing or notification bar for example.

Cons: The least appealing is its design. In my opinion the design is to simplistic. It does not really match a modern design pattern. Well, design might not make you more productive in the end.

Overall: Well, it lets me see my task completion and organize all my tasks in different projects and circumstances.

Comments: We are a small catering company with a couple different partners who mostly work remotely during the week before coming together to do events on the weekend. We pay on a monthly subscription so if its' not working for someone we can just cancel their subscription and they can use a different tool to keep track of what they are getting done. Before this software we were using a bunch of different programs to try to meet our needs. We tried Trello. We tried Asana. We tried Wunderlist... none of them combined the simplicity and the functionality of Todoist.

Pros: Customer Support was on it when I had questions and the user guides are really helpful Combined with CloudMagic email for android (or iOS) you can use this powerful cards feature to process emails directly into the app while waiting for something to complete. Accomodates tags, and other systems while having a powerful search functionality (which helps us find duplicate tasks)

Cons: Ease of adoption.... staff still struggle to use ANY system that requires them to track and assess their tasks. Todoist is miles ahead of asana and trello and wunderlist in terms of ease of adoption though. We setup our own "automated" iDoneThis email every week... not sure if that's any better honestly.

Pros: I like the notifications the best, and the way it celebrates for you when you hit a daily goal. It's easy to set recurring goals and times and dates for each thing that crops up. It's become just something that I'm used to getting each morning - a little jingle and a reminder of the things that I wanted to accomplish each day at 9 am.

Cons: I wish it was easier to integrate it into other things, like my calendar or email. It's great for what it is--a way to keep track of your to-do list. But it won't replace your Google calendar or anything like that. Also, this is really minor, but I bugs me when it insists on auto-filling the things I'm trying to record for myself, assigning automatic times and dates to things when all I want to do is write the number 2.

Overall: It makes it super easy to check in on the things that I need to get done each day. Its functionality is limited, but that's also some of the appeal, as you don't get muddled in all the other things to do on the app.

Pros: I think the thing that has helped me the most is printing my list of to-do's. I love that I can print my list for 7 days out and see exactly what deadlines I have approaching, and that I have the option to print with/without the notes for each project. This program has just really helped our team get organized.

Cons: I don't really have any complaints about what the program currently offers, but one feature that would be nice to have would be if reminders would pop up on my computer for deadlines that are due that day or deadlines that have lapsed.

Overall: It's been so incredibly useful in helping us track the status of projects and meeting our deadlines. We have SO many projects going on simultaneously that it could easily feel overwhelming, but using ToDoist has helped us keep everything organized so that we're all on the same page.

Pros: Ah, where to start. Sometimes I feel that Todoist is some of the last great software. Truly designed, built, and maintained on the purest of intentions. This is not another Y-Combinator product that is funded to drive revenue, it is a product that was built for one purpose personal productivity. The revenue is secondary for Doist.

Cons: Updates are few, slow, and far between. I feel that other productivity tools are stealing away customers with fancy animations and unnecessary features. Although I find myself occasionally wishing for more, I will not take a hit on my productivity because of it.

Pros: Super easy to use and many great integrations, namely Gmail makes it easy to stay on top of your list wherever you are. You can create projects, tasks, and sub tasks. Reminders come via email or push notifications on mobile devices. You can collaborate with others around projects so they can keep the project task list up-to date.

Cons: No major issues that I ran into. I have the free version and the premium version definitely has more bells and whistles but the free version has more than enough features to power your to do list.

Overall: Organization of tasks and to-do's. Ability to share with team members so we can all work on the same project in tandem. Notifications helped keep important tasks at the top of mind. Scheduling was easy and you can build in reminders to be emailed or sent via push notification.

Pros: This task manager has just about every feature you would need. From Prioritizations, integration with email, recurring tasks, Projects and collaboration, hyperlinks, mobile optimization, widgets e.t.c. if for some reason the feature is not included, the Support Team are always willing to help --- and very quickly.

I use the premium version and very satisfied with it - however, even the free version is still awesome!!!

Cons: Whilst this task manager is very easy to use, it could probably benefit from a task assistant bot for general issues and/or chat feature with Doist Suport.

Pros: Simple yet comprehensive interface lets you create projects and tasks that include the most important details - due date/reoccurring due date, priority level etc.

Track your progress with productivity goals via stunning visualizations. On the go? Access todoist from any device via the cross-device synchronization.

Delegating a task? Easily add people to projects and assign tasks.

My favorite thing about todoist is the simplicity of the ux. Other 'to do' software apps I've used are bulky and time consuming. Todoist lets you get right down to business!

Cons: Some features like labels and job tracking are not included in the free version. No Gmail or calendar integration.

Overall: I recently started using todoist for personal use and I can't say how much I love it! I'm so organized and truly feel the benefits versus other apps I've used before. I plan on convincing my work place to switch to todoist from the current application. :)

Pros: It is fast and intuitive. it has heaps of features but the basics are so simple that you can get started without any training.

As you get the hang of it and start depending on it for everything that needs to be done you can start to use the more advanced features

I use todoist for everything that must be done. I even have my daily routine tasks on there.

Cons: Nothing I can think of really.....

There is one feature I think they should add though, and that is, that if I search for a task to see if Ive added it, and it is not on my task list, it should give me the option to add the task instead of having to go to another button.

Overall: I don't forget to do anything.... and that means a lot...,if you asked people that knew me, you'd realize how its change my performance ;-)

Pros: - Google Calendar integration

- Labels & filters: Highly customizable, so i can fit it to my daily workflow

- Integration with automation tools like Zapier, IFTTT

- Great for GTD

- Multi-platform: I can access it from anywehere

- Subprojects & subtasks: I can easily manage my goals, projects and tasks.

Cons: I miss the Kanban view from it.

It could be more visual, more colors should be available.

Task / project dependencies would be great feature.

Overall: Few years ago i adopted GTD and my system is based on Todoist. Since customized it to my needs i can easily manage my tasks and projects which is a real stress reliever.

Pros: I've historically used pen and paper for my task management. But I wanted to switch to a computer based system. I evaluated Todoist vs. Things 3. While the latter features a very clean, compelling design, I ultimately chose Todoist for several reasons. First, I really like the Labels and Projects features, especially that I can choose different colors and easily add using the @ and # shortcuts. Second, I like the cross platform support; I can easily access and sync via my Mac, Chromebook, and iPhone. The task entry systems is very easy and intuitive; I'm glad it doesn't force me to enter fields I'm not currently using. That flexibility is one of Todoist's main strengths, i.e., you can use as many or as few of the available features as you want.

Cons: So far I only have one gripe: I wish the color codes for labels and projects would show up when entering and editing a task instead of them defaulting to red for some reason. They display correctly elsewhere. Color coding was important to me. Despite it's beautiful, crisp design, Things 3 does not allow custom use of color.

Overall: Flexibility helped me transition from pen and paper task management to more reliable and useful compute based task management. I think I've become more productive and less forgetful.

Pros: I really like that this software works so well with the GTD (Getting Things Done) methodology. The 'Inbox' is a useful space to drop random thoughts and things to sort through later into it's proper place. There is no limit to the amount of projects you can create in the free version - I have so much stored there, from restaurants I want to try to my daily to-do's. You can even add due dates (even recurring ones) in the free version.

Cons: There are a few things you can't do in the free version, like adding attachments to tasks. Although I think this is fair considering all the features available in the free version.

Overall: I use Todoist to manage everything I need to get done/want to remember. I have tried several other productivity apps and found this one works best for me and allows me to organise things in a way that makes more sense to me. It works very well and is available across different platforms and devices, so you can access it anywhere you are.

Pros: It is a simple checklist style app that you can assign tasks to people and have them or yourself check the tasks off when they are done. This is a very useful thing when the task list is not too long. For example, when organising the beach BBQ, I make a list printed it out with each of the tasks assigned to friends. When they did them, I either checked them off on the paper copy or on my phone. In following year, I just used the same list but assigned different people - so soon I would be able to automate beach BBQs!

Cons: It has a function which tries to keep you on top of things by assigning you a score according to how many tasks you check off in a day or something like that. As a person who loves to achieve, I initially tried to cheat (who am I kidding?) by putting in some easy to do tasks or tasks that I have already done so that I could check off a bunch. So not really helpful for people like me. The other thing that I would like is to have recurring tasks. Once I check it off, the task goes out of sight and out of mind. Maybe the paid version would have this included...

Overall: Overall a simple to use checklist program which is simple and basic (at least the free version that I am using) and when used as it was meant, can make you really more productive...

Pros: This is the tool I use to manage all my personal todos. It's easy to share them with your partner and great to set up recurring items, like washing your car.

One of the best thing it has is the ability to set reminders N days after a specific event occurred. So if I waited 40 days instead of 30 days before I washed my cards, the next reminder will be 30 days after the event.

Cons: It's hard to find defects as the software has been honed and improved. One thing that I'd like is the ability to store pictures or attachments in the comment section of a todo item.

Pros: Todoist has been my constant companion for at least 2 years now. I use it for all my planning, and I always feel so satisfied when striking things off my list. I love that it's rather intuitive and sets reminders when I need them. It also has a bit of gamification.. every time you complete tasks on time, you'll gain Karma points and achieve new Karma levels.

Cons: The Karma points have no purpose other than to just achieve a level of expertise. There's no unlocking bonuses or anything like that. It particularly inspire you to finish your list.

Overall: Just getting things done.

Pros: I love that Todoist is simple, and very, very easy to use. Even the not so tech-savvy of my team members don't find Todoist daunting to use. They are able to pick up quickly, as we use this to plot our home and work schedules and tasks really well.

Cons: I hope there was more customization options in terms of how it all looks, but overall, it does look clean and minimalistic.

Overall: You don't need a steep learning curve to use Todoist. Even my mom uses it, and she's very old-fashioned. It has helped me and my team, as well as my family get our schedules, appointments, tasks and reminders set up without being super techy.

Pros: I can make recurring tasks, add comments and/or documents to tasks, filter and reorder tasks, set time- and/or location-based reminders, add tasks via email, and so on. It's very flexible and fulfills all my organizing and productivity needs. The mobile app and the desktop app have the same capabilities as far as I can tell. It's also integrated with Zapier. The yearly subscription fee (for the premium version) is nominal compared to the value I get from it.

Cons: All tasks added by email automatically have an attachment/comment, even if the body of the email is empty, so I have to manually delete those so I'm not tricked into thinking there's an attachment/comment on a task when there isn't. I also wish I could nest tasks under something that's not another task or a whole separate "project"-something that will disappear when I complete all the tasks underneath it.

Use it dozens of times a day. I've tried many task managers and settled on this one. Indispensable

Pros: Being able to create tasks from email or websites is very useful. The more-or-less natural language date setting is great, once you get used to it. I have several projects set up, which works great even though I use them for categories more than projects.

Cons: Natural language date setting can sometimes take a couple of tries, but a help link is available if the format is wrong. It would be nice to choose flag colors - or add more options - for priority events

Overall: It's an indispensable part of my daily routine. Everything is synced between devices, and there are add-ins for browsers, Gmail, Outlook.

Pros: Todoist is an ULTRA easy to-do and task management software, I use it for years. It's a low cost solution for any body that need to empty their brain on a tasks list. Don't hesitate, you feel better with an empty mind and also the task sharing is easy and efficient too !!

Cons: I would like to have more (or better) options related to calendar, email integration, gantt chart, graphic or visual view of the tasks and delay. But it's a great tool !!

Pros: ToDoist has been the perfect upgrade that I was looking for, without having to pay for the premium features at the moment. I like the ability of color code tasks based on the priority level. My main tasks are at the top of the list and are marked in red, then orange and so on. The interface is clean and easy to use. Earlier I used to do lists on my phone, but now I prefer the lists in Todoist. Also, it is wonderful that I can get access to tasks from everyplace and from any device.

Cons: Actually, all working tools are powerful and work well. But I would like to build the more beautiful interface. Also, my opinion is that large companies with divisions and departments can be difficult to use Todoist.

Comments: I love Todoist and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a task management platform.

Pros: The ability to track to do items and manage teams is one of the best available. You can set up individual teams and projects and then create and assign tasks within each of those. I also like the approach they have taken to gamify the platform it makes it fun for teams.

Cons: This does get harder to track and store files to share with clients. Each task management system has items I like and would love to combine into one tool but this has many of the features that fill my needs.

Pros: The app is very user friendly. When you're looking for a feature, you find it quickly without any help or manual. It can be use offline, on a computer or a smartphone. You also can add widget on your smartphone homescreen with all the tasks assigned to a specific project. It's actually the only todo app that I've not abandonned after 1 or 2 days. I'm just a free user, so I did not try the premium functions. But for a personal use, I don't need more.

Cons: Some ergonomic detail: the subtasks organization is not really useful. Auto completion of the task is a really nice idea but honestly, I don't think it's better than choose a date in a calendar. Actually, it may sometimes be quite annoying.

Pros: What I loved the most is its easy interface, since it avoids distractors, it has a menu and key functions to manage our daily tasks, both personal and work activities. It allows to schedule the tasks with dates to be attentive to fulfill them.

Cons: The only disadvantage is that the trial option does not allow adding links for tasks, which prevents testing all the key functionalities of the software, but everything else works excellently. Both in the web version and in its mobile application its use is very simple.

Overall: The best thing is that your app works excellent from my smartphone, which allows to synchronize and organize all my tasks in one place. Pros: I like that you can create a simple list of things to be done in one step. You can add deadlines to things. And finally, you can add tags and sort by projects. The point is, you can start out very simple and getting more complicated is completely optional. This is not the case with a lot of Todo list software.

Cons: I'm not a fan of the "Karma" points system. The points system seems arbitrary and adds pressure to check off lots of things which causes one to create smaller, more trivial tasks. There is no calendar integration.

Comments: Todoist is a great app for anything you need to remember to do. For example, stop at Costco on your way home for an item, call travel agent to book a trip, follow-up with co-worker about a project, etc. You type the info in and it will automatically remind you when it's due. There are apps for your computer, phone, and tablet, so whenever you need to check it or add to it, it's available to you.

Pros: The basics of the program are simple. I love the capability to remind by geo location. So, say you need to pick something up the next time you are at Sam's. You add it to Todoist list with a geo tag. When you arrive at Sam's, whenever that is, a reminder automatically pops up.

Cons: I find the layout on my computer annoying. The Project/Labels/Filters section is large, but the area available for the type is small. I see no reason why it can't be resizable. Also, Todoist is feature rich, but a lot of it is not intuitive, so to get the most out of it, you need to go to the documentation or check out videos on YouTube.

Recommendations to other buyers: Go to the documentation, YouTube videos, and experiment to get the most out of the program.

Direct integrations with GSuite of tools and zapier allows for you to customize and automate your todo options. Now works with Alexa as well!

Cons: Seems intimidating at first with multiple projects and labels but once you find your flow its hard to imagine not being able to configure ToDoist to work for you.

Pros: I like that Todoist has a very clean and clearly visual interface that makes it easy to tell at a glance what I should focus on, and decent filtering for focusing down on specific roles as you advance and lear the software better.

Cons: Subtasking is present but could be more robust with dependencies, and the last of start/defer dates makes due dates meaningless for me.

Overall: I use it in a loose GTD framework to manage all tasks that take more than two minutes of time, as well as to delegate to my team of 11 employees and monitor their progress.

Pros: Simply put, use it daily to get things done. Looks minimal but this is a such a comprehensive to do list application. Basically, everything I could ask for from a productivity app..simple clean interface but loaded with features. My personal favorite feature is Karma. I sorta love seeing a visual representation of my productivity. BTW the new dark mode is beautiful.

Cons: Some of the key features are only available in the premium version, but it's easily worth the money in the long run.

Pros: I have tried a dozens of TDM tools, but none of them worked perfectly with my work method. I use Todoist for almost 2 years, because it is flexible enough to adapt your needs, but addictive enough make you use it every day.

Cons: If it would have a one-click option to move the task to another day, that would be useful. Now, this function can be reachable from two-clicks, but if you do that often, it makes a number. :) But that's the only thing I can say, everything else is more than perfect.

Comments: A lot of people I know use Outlook Tasks and for me Todoist is the only thing that gives the right amount of notifications to keep you on track with your projects and tasks.

Pros: Out of every piece of to do list software I've tried nothing compares to Todoist. It's very easy to use and you can break everything down by categories. The fact that it emails you every morning your list for the week is amazing.

Cons: No way to separate your personal and business lists. If they could figure that out it would be that much better.

Pros: Through its Karma points count, I can see Todoist being a good fit for a competitive person who needs the extra motivation to stay on top of tasks - maintaining the longest streak, earning points for completing tasks and earning points for reaching your daily and weekly goals; you even earn points simply by adding tasks or by using advanced features. You can turn on vacation mode or weekend mode so you won't lose your points or streaks when you're off work; when you schedule days off, your Karma and streaks also take a break so they don't get affected. The Karma feature makes Todoist stand out and will appeal to those who like gaming perhaps - its that push and urge you feel to increase your score and reach the next level, and if by doing so you implicitly get to complete a ton of tasks for work, woohoo, win-win.

Cons: I miss having a calendar in Todoist. Overall it's a neat piece of software and I can see it successfully pleasing a multitude of people for a variety of reasons. It's worth trying out. It doesn't work for me because of the lack of a preview of sub-tasks nesting: in the Next 7 Days screen, it shows the tasks by day, but you can't immediately see how the tasks are broken down by Subtask and Parent Task; you need to hover over them to get more info. I need more structure.dsqw

Pros: I love how accessible this app is. It's got a Gmail extension, Chrome extension, mac/windows apps, mobile apps, the works. Plus it has a wide net of integrations, making it easy to connect everywhere. My favorite feature is a Premium one, and that's the filters feature. Makes it very slick for keeping organized.

Cons: I wish it was easier to manage large amounts of projects, move them around, archive, etc. This feature is pretty click-based and lacks bulk edit options.

Pros: Todoist has a lot of features for a todo list. I don't get too carried away with most of them. But I do like that even though there are a lot of options below the surface, it's very easy to get in, do what needs to be done, and get out. It save me time.

Cons: Hard to say - I like a lot about this piece of software. I find it both helpful and flexible. The only thing that would cause me to like it a little more would be if I could keep track of completed items.

Pros: It's a good proposal on a way to organize your tasks and appointments. It helped me a lot and got acuainted to it easily.

App for almost every platform can be found (even for the 'soon-to-die' pebble) and they work very well.

Shared lists can be created and they are really useful for small teams.

Cons: Once again... it's a paid service. The free version is limited and some really useful features can't be used, so for me, the way to go was premium but...should you pay just por tasks? I think it's worth it, but nowadays there are so many services that we have to pay for... may be free edition, Google Keep or their limited task manager is enough in order to save some dimes.

Overall: It helped me to manage my daily life in a quick and easy way. I love the way it integrates with Gmail, calendar and all my devices.

Pros: Todoist has a great free option that has most of the functionality that I need for a task manager, and I'm able to sync the app up between the desktop dashboard and my cellphones! I use it for everything - to-do lists, shopping lists, PC tasks, work tasks, etc. It looks great and is simple to master!

Cons: None at all - Todoist just works without any issues!

Overall: I'm so glad I found Todoist for my task management needs! I'll never use anything else - it's free and it works perfectly!

Pros: It is an easy to use agenda. The best part of it, is that it has an add on, on google chorme, this makes it easier to remember apointments and tasks, as well as making new ones.

Cons: I did not like that it has too many notifications, at first I thought it was a great idea, but I was constantly getting notifications of diferent matters.

Overall: Overall it is a great and easy to use agenda and task manager. We have been using Todoist in our organization for some time now and I would definetly recomend it.

Pros: I use the service relatively recently. Once I saw my colleagues at work and I was also intrigued. First of all, I got acquainted with the user's instruction. It turns out that everything in the program is understandable, even quite simply. Indeed, the service is designed for any user. And its main advantage is that it can be used on the iPhone. Quickly mastered the beginning moments. It is very convenient for me personally to distribute the time of each of my days in order not to forget the important points that have been planned. Yes, sometimes even so spinning around at work, that you can forget some important things. It is very convenient for me to create a list of tasks for me during the day. Most of all I like to highlight the completed tasks, because they are later deleted. In work it helps a lot, and I do not forget about home affairs. Somehow the day is more normalized and, as a result, there is more time left.

Cons: Perhaps, I still use the application for a little time (only a few months), but I did not notice any significant shortcomings.

Pros: I like how easy it is to get started, and how customizable it is for your purposes. I like how the karma score gets you to want to get things done - it's like a game that motivates me. The different projects and being able to schedule due dates on things is also useful for planning the week.

Cons: I dislike how it automatically orders things sometimes, and then I need to move things around. I also don't see much use in the paid version in a to-do list format. I don't need all the extra things that it comes with besides the notes.

Overall: Increased productivity, better organization of my to do list

Comments: For personal use, this app is a rockstar. It is so easy to schedule reoccurring to dos. Organizing errands and multiple tasks is a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Pros: Easy to use and easy to switch back and forth from mobile to desktop. Sharing lists is a great plus.

Cons: I use this app for personal use but would not recommend it for corporate use. When researching project management systems, I found that this application was not robust enough for our daily project planning.

Pros: Todoist is my go to to do list! It is amazing, and here are just some of the things that I really love about it:

- Multiple to do lists

- It congratulates you if you are having a great day and getting sh** done

- Super easy to use

Overall, I don't really have anything bad to say about it. It is my go to for everything and I swear by this app!

Pros: Fast, easy and actionable. It's the only To-do or Project Management (lite) app that helped me get things done. I tried a lot of options, ones more complicated than others but this one that is the simplest ye powerful of all is only that made me start completing my tasks.

Cons: Lack of a Gantt-graph and in-app messenger to talk with co-workers. But maybe that's the beauty of it, that it's simple and only has what is necessary to help you complete your to-do list.

Overall: I stopped delaying the things that I needed to do.

The biggest benefit is that it's helping me organize my whole life, because now I have tasks about almost every aspect of my day, from personal stuff to professional tasks and it integrates with my Calender, so I have a really cool view of everything that needs to be made and when it needs to be ready.

Outlook and Gmail integration

Separate tasks in different projects, tags, and priorities.

Cons: I find the integration possibilities with external applications that also generates tasks to be somewhat limited. For instance a CRM. I can use apps like Zapier to trigger and create a Todoist task, but I am not able to find any solution that gives me a two-way sync, for instance allowing me to change the due data directly in Todoist and having the activity updated in the CRM. So it does not seem to be possible to use Todoist as the only front-end for task management.

Pros: The thing I like best is that I can have it on my iphone, ipad, computer and review it online... so, whenever I think about something I need to get done, I can find todoist within the next few seconds and add the item to a list. I can schedule when I'll have to have it done by, and that's it. The app handles the rest.

Cons: Sometimes the app will take something I'm writing as a due date or location and highlight it which can get a bit annoying, as I have to fiddle with it to get it to show what I wanted in the first place.

Pros: I use multiple list/task managers for my job. Todoist is one of them. I love using it. It really helps to keep me organized and on track.
