Pros: I like the Karma points and the task scheduler feature. The Karma points helps me see my progress in managing my tasks and gives me a sense of accomplishment and measures my productivity which lacks in most of the task apps out there. The easy scheduler helps me easily move my tasks to desired dates and the way they built it in the mobile app is very seamless.

Cons: Although you can already make an email into tasks when I use my Gmail, I wanted the task to remain an email in a task not fully convert it into task so that I can reply to it or to forward it to someone.

Overall: Easily create tasks and manage it seamlessly with a productivity meter to see how well you do.

Pros: It is fast and intuitive. it has heaps of features but the basics are so simple that you can get started without any training.
As you get the hang of it and start depending on it for everything that needs to be done you can start to use the more advanced features
I use todoist for everything that must be done. I even have my daily routine tasks on there.

Cons: Nothing I can think of really.....
There is one feature I think they should add though, and that is, that if I search for a task to see if Ive added it, and it is not on my task list, it should give me the option to add the task instead of having to go to another button.

Overall: I don't forget to do anything.... and that means a lot...,if you asked people that knew me, you'd realize how its change my performance ;-)

Pros: I really love the user interface and how there are so many cross-platform options. It's also very easy to use.

Cons: The silliest thing about this service is that I can't use reminders with the free version which makes it almost useless to me.

Pros: Todoist helps maintaining all the work to be done organized, simple to use. Collaborative with a team or specific to a project/job. Interaction to check the status of a task. Productivity graphs, efficiency to tasks, alerts on the deadlines are very useful features of this tool.

Cons: Automatic notifications of the daily and weekly tasks can get tiring to follow. I still feel more features can be added.

Pros: Being cross-platform, this application is very good to organize all my pending tasks using the mobile phone. Allows you to keep a record of tasks, link them with the calendar, post comments, among others.

Cons: What I like least about this software is that it does not allow me to use the voice notes to define tasks, because that would make it easier for me.

Pros: There are a lot of pros like custom filters, labels, geolocation reminders and perfect interface for everyday use. And I love that Todoist has integrations I need.

Cons: I saw some bugs in MacOs Todoist application, but I believe it will be fixed very soon. And I haven't tried customer support, but I hope that it wouldn't be necessary.

Pros: Extreme value for money in the Pro version with very low cost, but even the free version will suffice for most people. Compatibility is almost endless and it works intuitively

Cons: There's actually not much to dislike here, although I like the structuring system of Kanban based cards from other software better for some Task management purposes

Pros: The posibility to type the tasks easy and rapidly with # and date typing. Also the posibility to see my dated tasks on my google calendar helps me a lot to plan my day. It is extremely useful for team related tasks as you can share different projects with your co-workers.

Cons: I don't like not to be able to have notifications about my tasks, and to be asked to have a premium account to have such a basic feature.

Overall: Helped diagram professional and personal tasks in one place and to be able to have them on my calendar where I have scheduled all my activities, and other plans.

Pros: I love the scalability of Todoist and that it integrates with Trello and Toggl. This allows me to add a task in Trello have it sync into Todist and then allow we to start my time tracking in Toggl right from my Chrome browser window.

Cons: The project breakdown and task divisions in the Today view of the app are hard to manage when you have a lot of tasks. In order to organize this it takes quite a while to manage these tasks sufficiently and thus the view has lesser value in trying to focus you on related tasks and being actually productive.

Pros: As someone who was covered in sticky notes for years, this app was a godsend. A simple, clean to-do list that I can hotkey and use without taking my fingers off the keyboard. Todoist also does a great job of syncing across platforms, which is something that other products I've tried really struggled with. I use it on several computers and my mobile phone, and it is almost always up to date with my most recent edits. The notifications and labeling functionality is another blessing. Cannot recommendTtodoist enough.

Cons: Sometimes Todoist will fade into the background when I get really "locked in" on a task, and I'll find my laundry list is still untouched when the day is almost over. Mostly a personal problem, but one that I'm sure is common with other users. Perhaps some learning about what I consider "important" (a la G-Mail) would be useful for those of us with a lot of data in Todoist's systems.

Pros: I use this app when preparing for any kind of packing, whether it's for a holiday trip or a camping trip. It allows the creation of sub-tasks, which let's me group all items in each category together to keep lengthy lists more organized. I have yet to come across another app that has this feature integrated so simply. You can literally drag tasks around to move and nest them however you like. There are tons of other features, but I don't have a lot of use for them.

Cons: A little buggy when switching between the mobile app and browser versions (i.e. tasks and sub-tasks getting all mixed around and jumbled). Sometimes requires a little bit of patience when trying to edit lists after creation, as moving things around can cause inadvertent changes to occur.

Pros: Todoist has a lot of features for a todo list. I don't get too carried away with most of them. But I do like that even though there are a lot of options below the surface, it's very easy to get in, do what needs to be done, and get out. It save me time.

Cons: Hard to say - I like a lot about this piece of software. I find it both helpful and flexible. The only thing that would cause me to like it a little more would be if I could keep track of completed items.

Pros: Todoist has almost all of the features I want in a task tracking software without any of the bloat. I love the ability to have deeply nested projects and the ease with which you can move tasks between those projects.

Cons: Editing specific details of projects isn't very intuitive. Customizing the colors for example take multiple mouse clicks which discourages me from wanting to categorize items to the extent that I would like.

Pros: I have been using google keep as a way to easily track my todo list. It does not have the features to organize and add due dates. This is where Todoist comes in. It does just that.

Cons: After using this for a year I still have not got the hang of it. It just doesn't work for me. It really needs a better way to organize the list and ad sub-sections for each item. I need a to-do list that has a very clean UI and integrates well with my phone and desktop. The interface is just a bit too kludgy for my taste.

Pros: I used this software for over a year, it is good at keeping a list of all the stuff you have to do, and assigning them with a due date and time, and its really easy to use.

Cons: There was nothing really bad about it, but i feel it lacks some features, it has only the ability to tag something in 3 different stages of priority, but for our company that wasn't enough, also visually it wasn't that appealing or helpful to really see how much work was on for that day.

Pros: ToDoist helps add tasks just like that, allocate them on projects, prioritise by labels & colour codes, add friends/team to the projects so you can track each other. On mobile app, you can look up the tasks for the day & prioritise them by colour order of importance, stay on top of other's tasks & more. It's more like a personal pocket tool with option to collaborate with others. Simply said, it organises your day & week.

Cons: Nothing to complain about the app. It's just cool, cheap & very handy. It's the lord of small tasks, not the big projects. It's just that some good features are locked in Paid version which is worth going for.

Pros: Todoist is probably the best todo app out there. It's on every device you can think of. My iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Apple Watch, Chrome even in my Gmail. There is no way I can forget anything now cause it's EVERYWHERE. I love how modern and clean the UI looks so I never get tired of watch my todo list. I think it's a great product so I paid for the Premium every year. Totally worth it.

Cons: One thing I don't like about Todoist is the reminder notification. I hope they can implement mobile notification instead of just email notification. When I get a reminder, it always buried in my million emails.

Pros: Todoist has lots of platforms for its use and it syncs easily across each. I have apps on my phone, tablet and computer and I've linked it with my Amazon Echo. I can easily dictate things to be added to my shopping list or my to do list using my Echo, which is an absolute delight. It's equally satisfying to check things off once they've been accomplished. There are lots of powerful options for reminders, due dates, labels, nesting things in projects and filters.

Cons: Sometimes the app struggles to sync when I'm out an about. I would chalk that up mostly to poor service, rather than an issue on the developer end.

Earlier I used to do lists on my phone, but now I prefer the lists in Todoist. Also, it is wonderful that I can get access to tasks from everyplace and from any device.

Cons: Actually, all working tools are powerful and work well. But I would like to build the more beautiful interface. Also, my opinion is that large companies with divisions and departments can be difficult to use Todoist.

Pros: ToDoist was my go to application for a bit more than 1/2 a year. By itself I liked the presentation and used it daily because it was easy to use. Because of the cons (below) I switched to Wunderlist. I did also get annoyed by the constant prodding to upgrade to the paid version.

Cons: When it came time to share my ToDo list -- an upgrade to paid was required. Not so with Wunderlist (now owned by Microsoft and with an uncertain future). Wunderlist also has easy integrations with other apps -- in my case slack, which I like.

Pros: I've used several "To-Do" list apps in the past, but none of them have ever stuck, until ToDoist. What started as a way for me to keep track of work tasks quickly became my go-to app for keeping me honest with my never-ending list of to-dos both in business and personal life. The ability to create multiple to-do lists and share them with multiple (and unique) people sets us up for success and accountability. I also love being able to assign a task to somebody on the shared list and provide a due date for each individual task. I've also connected ToDoist to my Amazon Echo Dot, so I can ask support team to add items to my shopping list or tasks to my to-do list. When a task is completed and checked off by someone other than me, I love that I get a mobile push notification confirming that fact, in real time. Finally, having the app on my phone along with on my iMac makes for seamless use regardless of where I'm currently working. Overall, I've been very satisfied with ToDoist!

Cons: There are some quirks to the program, but nothing that turns me off from using it. For example, each list is considered a "Project" and each project can have sub-categories. When adding a new task to a project, you are not given the option of a sub-category. Therefore, the task defaults to the bottom of the list. You then have to scroll to the bottom and drag/drop the task under the sub-category you want it to be in. I sometimes accidentally drop it in a fashion that it creates a sub-sub-category and then I have to manually change everything in that sub-category back over. I also have not found value to the Productivity Score I am given on a daily basis, along with a lifetime score. I appreciate the psychological benefit of game-ifying your to-do list, but it's just not something I find necessary.

Overall: ToDoist has allowed me to keep track of my endless list of to-dos across both my business and personal life.

A great task management tool for individuals and teams.

Pros: I really enjoy the different scheduling, assigning, tracking tools available for Premium (Business). I like that you don't have to click so many places to get a task configured too.

Todoist has this capability that can schedule recurring tasks simply by typing "every workday at 6am" and will ensure the task populates every workday at 6am. It allows managers to easily assign tasks and track the progress teams are making on certain tasks.

The comment capabilities and attachment features is a plus too.

Great way to connect teams.

Cons: Not as user friendly for those who are not as familiar with using new applications. Requires more training and getting used to for certain users. Ie: the sub and parent task functionality and keeping everything aligned. But once they get it, it is a hit with them too!

Overall: Time and process efficiency. Teams know what tasks need to be completed when and who is responsible for them.

Using this tool doesn't guarantee that tasks won't fall between the cracks, unfortunately.

Comments: Points system for productivity does nothing to really promote productivity. Would be beneficial to have both a due date and a reminder option as work often begins further in advance of actual completion dates.

Pros: A place to document the many to-do lists we all have. Email digest of reminders and incomplete tasks. Can comment, attach files to give more detail to tasks. Ability to create sub-tasks for organization. Paid team accounts are an option. Colored flags to indicate levels of urgency. Can set due dates and reminders.

Cons: Unable to share tasks with multiple team members. Setting repeating tasks only works when setting up a to-do for that day (not in the future). Not terribly collaborative, even in team mode. Unable to tag team members in comments, unless that person is invited to a specific project. Team inbox gets very confusing, very quickly.

It might be overkill!

Pros: Those things that circle your brain and keep you awake at night are easily logged into this brilliant app. Completely portable, with you if you have a device (who doesn't) and keeps the calendar from being cluttered up (It will interface with your calendar but that isn't a feature I use). I like that you can categorize things, both personal and professional, set deadlines or not, and set notifications or not. Some days I just don't want another pop up notification.

Cons: I sorta wish you could draw a line through the things you accomplished-nothing seems as satisfactory as crossing off those 'to do's'. Other than that I love the flexibility and the ability to customize the view.

Pros: *Flexibility You can use browser, android, ios, windows, mac device, apple watch, android wear or even use a gmail or outlook. Todoist is right there for you. *UI It has the most welcoming UI of all todo managers. Of course, tastes are different. But I believe, no-one would disagree that Todoist is well made and developed with Love. *Scalability and features No being a full scale CRM does not stop Todoist from having everything you might want to have for your everyday simple lists, reminders and tasks. Todoist offers such features as a great approach to structure of tasks, flawless work on the prioritizing tasks and creating simple lists. *Integrations and little things Todoist offers a broad range of features out of the box, such as projects, links as tasks, scheduling and calendar integration. You always forget to pick up or buy something. Or want to prepare for the day by creating a simple todo - this app is for YOU.

Cons: 1. More integrations needed. First of all calendars - at the moment the work there is mostly messy and is not optimized. It would be nice to have it in a compact and comfortable tab (calendar tab) and also add calendars on the go and display tasks or meeting in todoist. That would be a huge leap ahead. 2. Pricing of Todoist is not smart, to my humble opinion. First of all, they don't offer monthly payments, why not? Yes, I agree it's cheaper to pay for a year. But what if I am not sure. There are many todo apps and the pricing might be the only thing that would stop people from using todoist constantly, students for example. Would it not be nice to have more flexibility and options there.

Pros: Todoist is a very handy platform to track progress and to-do lists, that you can share with your team for easier access. Is has a wide variety of features (and it might take a while before discovering them all)

Pros: Receiving email after email of jobs and tasks can make one feel overwhelmed. Take a deep breath and download Todoist on your phone or access through a browser and one by one, list each job, share it and update it with colleagues, prioritize and set dates, and sleep easier at night knowing you're on track to get it all done. Many features of Todoist are free, enough to get you going to see if you like it before pay subscriptions fees. Even if you choose to subscribe, it's competitively priced. Todoist is more sophisticated than Google Task, and clients will take you more seriously if they see you paying for a service like to Todoist to keep organized.

Cons: For a small business, Todoist is maybe too much. In the end, I found that Google Task was enough for my tasks and job lists. In future I may grow and justify the subscription, but not until that happens. The free version of Todoist does not allow you to track jobs you have checked off your list.

Overall: Todoist was a definite benefit to turn a pile of emails into an organized chart of assignments with a beginning and end. It was great to access on my Iphone before bed, or my web browser at work. Communication and productivity with colleagues and suppliers increased. If I saw another client or supplier using Todoist, I'd respect their efforts of structure and interaction, so it's great for the reputation of any business. Allowing free use initally is an advantage for any small business to evaluate the return on investment. Documenting accomplished jobs helps gauge the level of effectiveness for employees or groups, especially useful at review time.

Pros: What I loved the most is its easy interface, since it avoids distractors, it has a menu and key functions to manage our daily tasks, both personal and work activities. It allows to schedule the tasks with dates to be attentive to fulfill them.

Cons: The only disadvantage is that the trial option does not allow adding links for tasks, which prevents testing all the key functionalities of the software, but everything else works excellently. Both in the web version and in its mobile application its use is very simple.

Overall: The best thing is that your app works excellent from my smartphone, which allows to synchronize and organize all my tasks in one place. The categories that already have predefined with great help since they are the most common tasks that we use, which saves time when using the software. The notifications of past or due tasks is also a great help to make our time more productive and to take back what we have forgotten.

Pros: I use multiple list/task managers for my job. Todoist is one of them. I love using it. It really helps to keep me organized and on track. Pros: I use this platform both for project management and for all personal tasks. I am glad that I can use the program on my mobile phone, in mailboxes or in web browsers it is very convenient. A simple format, the process of adding and completing tasks is a convenience for the user that you can get. The program helps us to create a project and make it more beautiful. You will have many things in one place. It is very easy to manage all records. An easy way to use video. This platform helps me stay organized and allows me to store all the tasks that I need.

Cons: All working tools are powerful and work well. But it will be much better if we can create a more colorful project. I wish I could add other colors as a background. I do not like that many of the functions that I want to use are hidden behind the paid version. I would really like to be able to add notes to assignments in the free version.

Pros: As an author, I am frequently distracted. My mind travels off somewhere on a random idea, and 8 hours later, I'm left wondering what year it is. Todoist is a godsend. Any time I get a random idea, I can jot it down in my list to look at later, while prioritizing things that have deadlines- like, you know, getting that darn book published on time before plotting the next. I love that Todoist is cross-platform, so I can use it on any device to stay up to date. The visualizations for progress are such a great motivator! I plan on utilizing Todoist during NanoWriMo to keep me plugging away at my next novel, using the progress graphs to keep me moving forward.

Cons: I'd love an option to add a bar to the browser, with a reminder of what I'm supposed to be doing. That's likely just me though.... "Please stop looking at jewelry beads. You need to be doing task 1 on your list." Probably wishful thinking, but it would certainly help! :)

Comments: If you're looking for a great and inexpensive to-do app and can remember to go check it, Todoist is a fabulous option! You'll be up and running in no time flat.

Pros: I was super excited to learn about Todoist, as I'm always trying to find something easy that will help me keep track of pending tasks -- which tend to overwhelm my day. Todoist was so easy to get started on and really offered some decent functionality for the price.

Cons: For the life of me, I couldn't remember to check the website!! This is likely a personal failing and not one that should be attributed to the app. However, it was frustrating to not receive reminders or anything that things were overdue. Again, could be user error.

Pros: Free tier is plenty powerful, with unlimited projects and tasks, a useful selection of filters and labels, a couple Chrome extensions, a Chrome app, apps for all platforms and devices. Many folks will be fine with the free version, but to get e-mail reminders or app notifications, plus custom labels and filters, you'll need to upgrade, and you'll want to. But the Premium version is cheap so it's a no-brainer. The app is intuitive and a joy to use. It integrates with my natural workflow easily, which is not something I can say about any of the other to-do list apps I've tried.

Cons: Hmmm, that's a hard one. Maybe the app could be prettier? It is a little staid in monochrome, no? Paying to get reminders might irritate some folks but in order to keep this gem around, we oughta pay for it, I think.

Pros: Very easy, everything can be done in a second, all Drag&Drop Many platforms (win, android app, iOS, ..) Reccuring tasks Date definition (today, tomorror, every 2nd,...) Many ways how to work with (GTD, 7h..)

Cons: Not sure I have been using it for many years. Todoist strictly focuses on to-dos - it's OK, but adding planner or notes would be a dream productivity suite for me.

I use this app to keep organize in many different projects.

Pros: Clean interface, easy to use at first and tons of good features. It helps stay organized and offers a clear view of all the tasks and projects you want to manage by yourself or with your team.
One of the best free/paying solutions out there IMO.

Cons: Some basic settings come with the premium version, that doesn't offer a great experience to the people willing to try it out first before buying the full version. It is a great task managing solution but I believe many people went for another solution because of that.

Cons: I wish it was easier to manage large amounts of projects, move them around, archive, etc. This feature is pretty click-based and lacks bulk edit options.

Cons: Not a straightforward way to sign up with an existing account on an Android app.
The trial requires a credit card info although it is easy to cancel.
An Android app does not move to the SD card.
Free version for Android lacks reminders/alerts.
It limits the list to 200 active projects and tasks per project in the premium version. It should be unlimited.
2048 characters per task name and 255 characters per project name It should be more than that.
The interface takes some time to master and lacks consistency.
The calendar feature is missing.
Personal and business lists are not plainly separated.

Overall: Todoist is great for scheduling and deadlines and is an excellent collaboration tool. It is available on many platforms both online and offline, easily syncs and has an offline functionality.

As a productivity tool, Todoist is great for teams allowing 50 people per project. It features the centralized team billing, management log-in tracking and priority support at an affordable price. It takes some thought and time to customize and use the product.

The free version is restrictive, but the paid version offers a 30-day trial that uses a credit card information and is easy to cancel. Also, it is relatively affordable with a monthly plan. I highly recommend Todoist for freelancers, small, medium, and even large businesses.

Pros: I love the ease of use, the user intuitiveness, the gamification and it's ability to keep me on track. It's not over complicated, but has enough features to make it work for me. I can use it as a quick task noter, or a more fully featured GTD tool... They all work

Cons: I would love it if you could move between a list and a kanban format, or even have a gnatt chart format in it too.

Pros: It's a good proposal on a way to organize your tasks and appointments. It helped me a lot and got acuainted to it easily.

App for almost every platform can be found (even for the 'soon-to-die' pebble) and they work very well.
Shared lists can be created and they are really useful for small teams.

Cons: Once again... it's a paid service. The free version is limited and some really useful features can't be used, so for me, the way to go was premium but...should you pay just por tasks? I think it's worth it, but nowadays there are so many services that we have to pay for... may be free edition, Google Keep or their limited task manager is enough in order to save some dimes.

Overall: It helped me to manage my daily life in a quick and easy way. I love the way it integrates with Gmail, calendar and all my devices.

Pros: I'm glad that I can use the program on my mobile phone, in mailboxes or in web browsers. Pros: I was reluctant to switch for a software after many years of habit to write my to-do lists on paper, but todoist is very easy to use. As this software allows to dump task out of my head and have it in cloud in more structured way.

Pros: I use Todoist to create tasks and work with colleagues and other graduate students. Recently I registered a premium subscription. Thanks to the cross-platform application, I can work with different devices and in any convenient place. The application works equally well on Windows, Mac and iOS.

Pros: I love simple apps and Todoist is one of them for sure. It's very simple to add tasks, allocating them on projects, prioritizing by labels and color codes. This means that on your mobile phone you can see directly what tasks you have to do for today, on which projects and to arrange them by colour order of importance - red as most important, to white as least. In the last months I added friends to the projects so we can track each other on who does what and when. Very powerful tool to have to clarify your daily life.

Cons: One thing is that if I have a lazy day or an emergency I want to reschedule all tasks for next day. It allows this in a click of a button, but it moves some to other days, based on some sort of algorythm. I would like to choice if to move everything tomorrow or to next days.
And second thing I am really into the karma points, as the heaviness of the tasks is not the same, some take a lot of time but get the same karma points as simple ones.

Overall: I don't know where I'd be without it. Having lost paper lists in the past with important things to do I am so grateful I can keep it in one handy spot now.

Pros: I love how it lets you assign tasks, but does not stop someone else from marking it as completed. That way, if someone ends up doing something on someone else's list, there was no need to interrupt them or explain. They could just see that it was done.

Cons: It was a little messy. I had some trouble with organizing the tasks, especially when it was in a long, long list format. However, once I got used to the setup and nesting options, it was not really that bad.

Overall: I loved how it let my team keep track of tasks for complex projects. It is great how it lets each task be assigned to a specific person, but also lets anyone mark any task as done. It saved so much time in communication and planning.

Comments: Todoist has evolved with some features since I first used it. I wanted a "To Do" list a while back to monitor and track certain projects and ideas. Instead of a stand alone "To Do" list I wanted something that allowed me to add others and use it as a shareable and collaborative tool. Todoist was able to do just that. And I find it easy to use, setup and work with. If you have ever used a "To Do" list, this will be second nature. I have not tried the Premium or Business levels, but from what I am able to see, they are also very powerful and useful, as long as you can operate your business or projects as "To Do" lists.

Pros: Todoist is a simple as it gets. It is a glorified "To Do" list with features that makes life easier. What makes Todoist superior to your average "To Do" list is its ability to group, categorize, and use filters. While these feature do exist in other basic "To Do" list, they do not have the same simple and intuitive interface of Todoist. And this is just the free version. Want to create "Projects" and track them as a "To Do" list, you can do it here... with ease. There are also many settings features and options, like import/export, sorting, and more. Want more power? Upgrade to Premium and get extras like labels, commenting and much more. Todoist also has Business accounts for all out collaboration among teams where projects can be managed via a "To Do" list format.

Cons: There are no cons I can see other than the somewhat tricky perception that features listed on the app while using the free version are actually part of premium. When using Todoist's free version, if you click on the visible links to add a filter or label, you are presented with a pop-up that tells you it is a premium version. Sort of a cross-sell there, which I often find a bit deceitful. But please, do not get me wrong. If such features are needed, it is worth the upgrade.

Comments: A lot of people I know use Outlook Tasks and for me Todoist is the only thing that gives the right amount of notifications to keep you on track with your projects and tasks.

Pros: Out of every piece of to do list software I've tried nothing compares to Todoist. It's very easy to use and you can break everything down by categories. The fact that it emails you every morning your list for the week is amazing.

Cons: No way to separate your personal and business lists. If they could figure that out it would be that much better.
