Pros Todoist is very easy to use, it helps me plan my day-to-day activities and makes sure I'm not lagging behind on important projects. Cons There is none at the moment of writing. It's all good. I'm not one who likes installing desktop applications so I like the fact that the web does not have limited functionalities. Pros Todoist guides you from the moment you sign up to the software, including giving you a quiz to identify what is the best way for you to be productive. You can arrange and organize and keep track of any part of your life. It also allows integrations with multiple other apps if you feel like its lacking in some aspect. It supports all platforms so you can keep track of everything on the go. I find this helpful because I can look at what I have planned for the day as soon as I get up. Another thing that I like about Todoist is the fact that you can create and keep track of routines and habits. I tried many different project management apps and found myself using them inconsistently. Todoist is the first app that makes me feel like I am truly managing my priorities and tasks. It helps me organize my tasks and priorities in the best way possible! With Todoist I can stay on top of my deadlines easily, thanks to its reminders and alerts. The Todoist team is doing a remarkable job. Cons The mobile app UI can be improved especially in the iOS. Having come from Things and used Things for years, Todoist was refreshing and well supported across desktop and mobile. Cons Sometimes Things have been slow to add new features. With todoist we are able to schedule the entire office works, and able to complete the task in expected time frame. Pros Todoist is great task manager tool, with extensive features. I simply loved the NLP features, which allows to add tasks along with the details including tags, due dates and assignees. Cons I don't like the the way it handles the subtask. Pros I love the ability to make projects and see what needs to be done. I have the projects color coded to be able to identify them quickly. I don't use the priority filters or labels but I could see how they could be useful to be able to show what is important. Cons I don't like that I have to have pro to be able to see completed tasks. I appreciate being able to centralize all my thoughts in a simplistic way. Pros Todoist keeps their software centered around the core purpose of keeping track of todos. It doesn't inflate itself with too many bells and whistles that ultimately take away from what you are trying to accomplish. I don't need crazy calendars or kanban boards, just the list and todoist does just that. My favorite feature is the ability to drag and drop to dos. I'm able to nest tasks into sub tasks or move something from one project to another really quickly. Cons I do wish there were additional color coding features. Setting priorities is great and can accomplish what I'm wanting to do but I'd really like this to be a bit more robust. For me, grouping tasks into one color is mentally helpful and then within that grouping being able to set a priority. I've worked around this using nested lists (sub tasks) and the priority flags but again a little more customization here would be nice. Review Source MA Maria A. Pros I love how easy to use Todoist is and the interface of the iPhone app. The reminders keep me on top of things. I love how I can have Projects folders and I can organize my tasks by projects or by priority. It just makes it so easy to organize and prioritize tasks and coordinate with my calendar. Cons Sometimes the app wants to automatically add a date/time and you have to fight with it to remove it. I never like to pay for softwares, but this is worth every penny. Pros Todoist was a game changer for me for daily productivity. The ease of use and quick ability to get my thoughts and tasks on my radar goes unmatched. I love the shortcuts of being able to quick add a tasks with a due date and priority by just typing into a single line box. The tasks organizing and multi user collaboration make this great for just me or even a small team using it. I don't know if its just the way my brain works or just because its a great software, but this is by far my favorite tasks managing app. Cons I really do not have much I dislike about this software. The only minor annoyance I found was on a recent update. I used to be able to easily drag a task on the mobile app to another day. On a recent update, it now pops open a slide up window. I tried dozens of To Do applications and for some reason, Todoist is the one that stuck. Pros Todoist offers a nice, intuitive UI for handling my todos. It works well cross platform on all of my devices (Macbook Pro, iPad, OnePlus 6). The core features are free. I also like the company and the mission. The keystroke short cuts and ability to create regularly occurring tasks is a life changer. Cons I have a few recurring tasks that I can't add using the recurring tasks. Other than that I have no complaints at all. I don't use it professionally, but I use it for personal tasks. Pros The natural language processing (type out a task attribute like priority in the title), complex filtering (you can literally use code to filter tasks), and customizability of tasks (tags, priority, and scheduling) are phenomenal. Also, the IOS app is great and the IOS Widgets are helpful. I use it for daily personal tasks and it works wonderfully. Cons I've tried to use it for project management, and I find that the Calendar view and other project management features are lacking. I don't think this software is designed for that, so I don't think this drawback hits too hard. A simple, clean to-do list that I can hotkey and use without taking my fingers off the keyboard. Todoist also does a great job of syncing across platforms, which is something that other products I've tried really struggled with. I use it on several computers and my mobile phone, and it is almost always up to date with my most recent edits. The notifications and labeling functionality is another blessing. Cannot recommendTtodoist enough. Cons Sometimes Todoist will fade into the background when I get really "locked in" on a task, and I'll find my laundry list is still untouched when the day is almost over. Mostly a personal problem, but one that I'm sure is common with other users. Perhaps some learning about what I consider "important" (a la G-Mail) would be useful for those of us with a lot of data in Todoist's systems. Through that time I've tried many alternatives - I keep switching back as haven't found anything that ticks all the boxes for me as todoist does. Pros A brilliantly designed and easy to use product. I love both the desktop and mobile version and what makes this really great is that it can be used across many OS and platforms, so you have your tasks with you everywhere you go Cons there's really not much i can complain about. Cons The ability to change the color scheme or themes would be nice, however, aside from that visual critique, everything operates well.
