In my line of work, people tend to verbally give me tasks to do and it can be difficult to keep track of. Post-its and lists aren't very effective. This keeps everything all in one place and is easily referenced, whether in the office or remote. Pros Simple task management with no fuss. No need to worry about setting up entire projects if you don't need to do so. Cons Sometimes it is overly complicated for the most basic of tasks you need to input. I complete and folllow them on Todoist. Whenever I need to make my tasks, I remember it via Todoist. I use recurring tasks for my daily tasks. When I type "everyday" on task, it make it recurring for everyday. Pros I like project and label features. I divide my tasks to projects, projects to parts and labeled them. I like the reminder feature. I like its compability with mobile and PC, and their apps. I like its ability to recognize commands. Cons Its Windows app could be nicer. IOS app is faster. I definitely recommend the premium if you're using this for work. Pros I love the cross collaborations the application has to offer. There's also offline accessibility, which makes it very nice for someone who may be in an area that has no service, but needs to know the task at hand. Cons If you're a free user, there's a lot that you can't do. I recommend upgrading to Premium if this is for serious work. Reason for choosing Todoist I choose Todist due to the fact that you can use many other applications that I find helpful, and intergrade them. I use it so often to make sure I remember what I have to complete the next day, after setting it up the day before. It's quite helpful and simple to use. I love simple and easy tools that keep me organized. That is why I would use this for everyday purposes, not only work-related projects and upcoming meetings. I like it compared to many others that I've used in the past and find it easy to stay control of everything that I need to complete. August 16, 2019 5.0 Time management and prioritization of tasks are the main obstacles that Todoist has helped me overcome. It was a little time-consuming at first to set up Todoist, but once I had done so, it proved to be very helpful in getting my tasks done in a timely manner. Pros I love the way Todoist helps me organize my upcoming tasks and projects. I especially like the ability to color-code and prioritize tasks. Cons I wish it was more easily integrated with my gmail account, particularly with my Google calendar. It also provides reminders that I think is the best part of having this app with me always. Cons I noticed some inconsistencies while syncing my tasks so I hope to see this issue fixed soon. Looks minimal but this is a such a comprehensive to do list application. Basically, everything I could ask for from a productivity app..simple clean interface but loaded with features. My personal favorite feature is Karma. I sorta love seeing a visual representation of my productivity. BTW the new dark mode is beautiful. Cons Some of the key features are only available in the premium version, but it's easily worth the money in the long run. I use Todoist for almost 2 years, because it is flexible enough to adapt your needs, but addictive enough make you use it every day. Cons If it would have a one-click option to move the task to another day, that would be useful. Now, this function can be reachable from two-clicks, but if you do that often, it makes a number. :) But that's the only thing I can say, everything else is more than perfect. The price, however, is in my opinion not fully justified, as there are other tools that come at a lower price. Pros I love this app because it's so clean and easy to use. I schedule myself, I set reminders, I make my grocery list - all from my computer, and then I can get phone reminders as well! Cons Collaborating requires an account, and we had occasional issues getting our Gmail synchronized for some reason. Eventually we figured it out, but it was a process. I use it extensively and I love the rewards system for getting your to-dos done it is fantastic positive reinforcement! Pros Lets you Organize into Projects and sub Projects and then it lets you create tasks or todo and multiple layers of nested Tasks and To-dos. You can set priority, due dates and all kinds of settings on the tasks to make sure you remember to do them and get them done. There is calendar integration as well which is a lifesaver for those of us that live and die by our calendars. The Chrome extension allows me to add webpages as todos and the android app widgit keeps my todos for today right in front of me on my home screen. This is an ecosystem of to-doedness. It keeps my daily tasks and other projects organized. It is so easy to use and the user interface is minimalist. Using it saved me a lot of time and making decisions are much easier because of it. I can label and filter my tasks or projects as well. I'm also using their android app and it works flawlessly. Additionally, the software lets me sync my tasks and projects to all of my devices. I can also collaborate with my team to boost productivity. The price is very affordable and the karma scoring system is a nice feature as well.
