### "Smart Service and iFleet are critical to my business."

We evaluated all the software in the market for document shredding companies and narrowed it down to Smart Service. It enables us to easily track our customer's jobs, our assets, and our drivers throughout the day. iFleet revolutionized our business when it came out. We figure it saves us about 10 hours a week.

Very few.

Customer support is amazing! Always available and very helpful!! I have never had to wait long to get the help that I needed. I came into the use of this software after it was already in place and not being used properly. The support team helped me get a better understanding of the programs so I could make proper use of it!

Pros

it's user friendly, once I became familiar with the program

Cons

I can't really give you an honest opinion on this, as it was not set up properly or being used that way when I started here.

This program helps tremendously with scheduling. We use it to schedule appointments, and keep track of our employees. This program does 100 different things and can be very beneficial to your company. I highly recommend it

We've used Smart Service for 9 years and it has evolved into a great asset for us with dispatching multiple trucks. We also use iFleet with our trucks in the field.

Pros

We've looked to see if the grass is greener - it's not. This software is versatile and the developers are always looking at making it better.

Pros

Software syncs to QuickBooks automatically. Calendar view is easy to use. Calendar sync to Outlook and email notifications would be a nice feature.

Cons

Software freezes,' not responding' on occasion. It would be nice if entry and reports were more end-user customizable.

Pros

Can customize reports to what you need. The schedule board is very easy to follow. Monthly Maintenance Billings are simplified to doing them at once in a batch.

Cons

When you get up there in customers, like 10,000 plus, its a hog so you need a fast computer and network.

Pros

The best customer service. Able to do all of our scheduling with ease. It works with quickbooks which was a huge selling point.

Cons

There is no way to see the schedule for everyone when the owner is out of the office. This is the #1 complaint from the owner.

Smart Service is a very user friendly and easy to teach to new employees. Ifleet is a real plus for the technicians.

Cons

I am unable to delete employees out of Smart Service after termination. The inability to cut and paste equipment out of Smart Service.

Ease of scheduling, fast syncing for technicians, easy access customer records, ability to opperate paperless.

Pros

Extremely user friendly, fast and reliable, customer care is attentive and extremely helpful, we can't say enough good things about it.

Cons

Suggestion would be that I would love an option to send email follow ups directly from the service with customer satisfaction surveys with results that would link to jobs and customers!

Great for putting together a schedule and dramatically reducing paperwork. Love the ifleet as it keeps the office and the technicians on the same page.

Pros

All encompassing brings calls, quotes, appts all together and cuts back on paper work.

It can be slow and has brain farts

Lets me track where my technicians are at all times. Compatible with Quickbooks. Super easy to operate.

Cons

Sometimes the email does not go out when using our ipads. Think it has to do with apple mail. That would be the only issue

We have utilized Smart Service since 2007 and have no complaints. We sometimes forget the time difference between Ohio and California but that is obviously our problem. The tech support is great and their continued assistance is very much appreciated.

Pros

It has streamlined the way I dispatch & invoice all of our customers. It also makes keeping up with our maintenance agreements much easier. The customer service is outstanding & luckily for me they are very patient.

Cons

The only thing I've had issues with so far is the reports feature. There are almost too many to choose from... I hope a webinar is on the way.

I was not on the implementation team so I'm not sure what benefits they received.

Pros

Easy to read visually. Searching by name & address is easy to do & setting up new customers are easier.

Cons

Inability to easily change customers name once it has been set-up. This is a huge drawback. Reporting needs to be more user friendly

It has a lot of capabilities! It's a hub for all of our needs as far as inventory, scheduling, employee tracking...etc.

Cons

It is not at all user friendly. I have used other work flow programs, and they were all much more fluid and easier to use than Smart Service.
