Although the system is a little complicated and not very user friendly costumer service is always there to help with any kind of questions or issues. I love that they jump on your screen and show you exactly how something is to be done. Overall the software is great and I am sure it has way more features than what our company uses, which hopefully we will come to master as time goes.

I own a high volume marine service business and I am delighted to have found Smart Service. When I purchased my business the first thing I did was look for a serious scheduling program and the Smart Service soft ware and team has helped me transition smoothly.

Pros

The integration with Quick Books and the capacity to customize

Pros

This software is easy to navigate and manipulate to fit your business. It's easy to teach and easy to learn. If you can use Microsoft, you can use Smart Service. The mapping has made my life easier, and the technicians are thankful that we can route them so closely.

Cons

The Reporting Section needs a little tweaking to adapt to what I need it to do for me, but the support team is working on a solution for us. I'm hopefuly that it'll come in the next upgrade.

Pros

I like the way Smart Service is organized. The vendor is easy to work with, as they are prompt and courteous.

Cons

We weren't aware that the project ran off of QuickBooks. It ended up working out for the best for us, but the additional work and cost associated with it was unexpected. The technicians performing the training were nice, but most of the training was asking questions. We've learned most from working in the system and calling in with questions.

I would recommend this software to any company that has hectic scheduling demands. It has saved me lots of time. And time means money.

Pros

The SS software has made scheduling very time effective and saved lots of confusion. I like the way I only have to enter my customer information once for both Smart Service and Quickbooks. The installation was quick and easy. The tech support has been very helpful whenever necessary.

Cons

I don't have any issues using the Smart Service Software.

I would recommend this software to other companies

Pros

Smart Service is a great program to use. Easy as 1, 2, 3. Our company has guys out in the field at all times and this program helps us get them from point A to point B. We really enjoy the feature where we can map out our customers on the map and get directions for them. We haven't been able to use the Feet application yet, but we look forward to that as well

Doesnt always sync quickbooks

Pros

Their support and dedication to making sure that a client is set up properly and has the right training to use this to the best advantage of their business goes far beyond what I've seen with many other software companies.

Cons

I need more training in the actual product, but I haven't run into any issues where the software isn't doing something I was told it would, which has happened often with other products.

Great value for the money. Smart Service makes running my business much easier and I highly recommend it to anyone in the service business.

Pros

I schedule customers for monthly, quarterly and annual service. Frequently customer want to reschedule service and the feature in Smart Service that reschedules future service dates automatically is great. The integration with Quick Books makes billing easy and accurate.

Cons

None that I have found.

We use SmartService and Ifleet. It has dramatically cut back on our paperwork. Aside from that it has given us tools to ensure that the technicians out in the field are estimating the work appropriately. It's a very large and diverse program with lots of features/functions that we haven't even tapped into just yet. It's a little heavy and slow but it packs a punch.

Pros

Ifleet with the ability to sync pictures and notes back to home base. Tons of features, options, etc.

Pros

I like iFleet portion and how it communicates with QuickBooks.

Cons

I dislike the note sections. There is no place in the jobs for inner office/tech notes where the office would enter a note that only they and the technician will see. There is no copy and paste function for anything outside of this system. I wish that there were separate service tickets instead of reusing a job.

Pros

The software is user-friendly for both office and field personnel. It has helped to organize our dispatching process and made it easier to see what is on the schedule for extended periods of time to avoid over-scheduling. The vendor has been very responsive to any and all questions we have had.

Cons

Once you "create" a customer, you cannot make changes to the customer name.

Then I found Smart Service and it is fantastic! It met all my needs! the customer service is out of this world I dubbed them "Team Awesome" they will stay with you until you get the problem solved or get back in touch with you pronto! Smart Service has made my company look very professional!

We have looked into this type of software for years and we have found that Smart Service was the best fit for our company. It's not trying to take over you existing system, it works with what you have been using for years. The only thing that I would change it some of the customization's are limited. Smart Service does listen to there customers and and are constantly coming out with improved updates based on the feed back. Overall I think we made a great choice.

We've been using the software now for 5 years, we had minor customization to the software to fit our needs better by Smart Service techs. Love the mobile app and that was part of the reason for choosing Smart Service. We often give Smart Service our want list for the software updates and they try to full fill the most requested changes. The service desk is very helpful, they can remote into your system to help solve problems.

Smart service was able to take us from four software programs that we used to run our business with now we do it with one Smart service it works flawlessly with Quickbooks Which our old program was supposed to but never did. No program is perfect but I have to say Smart service has met and exceeded our expectations form day one

Pros

Smart Service has been able to meet our demanding requirements for our companies and the way we do business . They did a superb job in our data conversion which in my opinion is more or just as important as the product it self

I have limited computer experience. They were very patient on the setup and training process. I like the ability to customize my forms for my specific business. I love the new Google calendar add-on.

Cons

The time clock option is not good. I ended up using another software for time clock. It would be good to have this do that as well.

We purchased SmartService w/iFleet to streamline our logistics. After we worked out some bugs and a non tech person got the support they needed to use the program it has become very useful. The customer service is beyond compare and has worked with us through a number of challenges. I would highly recommend this product to any company who is looking to improve their logistics and tracking capabilities.

Pros

Easy to use, Works fine for my window cleaners and Maids... Full Schedule and plenty options. Amazing features.

Cons

Couple problems with printing options only. (the good thing is that customer support is working on that)

For the most part, I would recommend Smart Service.

Pros

Helps to track mechanics jobs to insure paperwork gets completed, easy to use and understand, for my use, interfaces well with Quickbooks

Cons

Not being able to change titles of jobs, and apparently, integration to the IPad did not work for us as we were led to believe.
