The ability to communicate with the team regarding jobs without the back & forth of phone calls and text messages is great. Also the ability to easily link job hours to employee time sheets is awesome too! The IT reps are very friendly and knowledgeable. I've talked to Dylan specifically a few times and he's great. Other reps are friendly and helpful too (Kyle and Heidi, I'm talking to you!)

Pros

Smart Service support is great. The software is pretty simple to teach someone how to add a customer and add jobs to the board.

Cons

The reports are very confusing. Also when we try to update customers from QuickBooks the name changes. We have a real issue with it going over to Smart Service.

I had purchased this software, but it crashed on me right from the start, and smart service could not reinstall it. As we realized, it was not ready for windows 10, They promised to do refund, and they did all they could to not to honor our agreement. They suddenly become nasty and unreachable. We had to go through the credit card dispute to get refund. They managed to keep 2K for their useless mobile application.

Pros

It is probably very good software when it works.

Cons

Training is useless, program was unstable, they did not keep their word regarding refund policies.

It creates a solid data base for customers history. It really seems geared more toward residential though. It needs a commercial service contract module along with job cost details. It also needs a purchase order system. Honestly we had never been trained on this program properly and don't use the whole program. It may actually do better than I can say.

We have been using Smart Service for a few years now. If we ever have an issue or just don't remember how to do something. We call the tech support. They are awesome. Fast, friendly service, that never gets aggravated with our crazy off the wall questions. The software is very user friendly. Dispatching and tracking our guys has never been easier.

I have never had a bad experience with anyone at Smart Service. My experience with the customer service team has been excellent. All my questions get answered and they are more than willing to help in anyway. The only problem I have had is the wait time on the phone to get help. It took a total of 15 minutes each time I needed to call.

Pros

Easy to use and the service is awesome. Any time I need help you are there and always polite.

Cons

Would like to have a few more items that would pull between Quickbooks and Smart Service.

Pros are obvious, it does all the thinking and organizing for me. Cons are very few and far between, wish that the service records were sent out in real time, as the correct times were noted on the service records. Doesn't update as fast as I would like it, as far as technicians getting changed information on the work orders.

It made everything paperless, is easy to follow and converges with the Google calendar!

Cons

There is a lot that this program can do for you, but it isn't explained well at start up. It requires a lot of training time to understand everything it can do for you.

We love Smart Service and it's simplistic design and layout. It is very easy to navigate and getting a new user up to speed is a breeze. We use iFleet and find the data flow from the field back to Quickbooks seamless. I highly recommend this product for someone in the service industry who dispatches technicians.

I REALLY LIKE THE ABILITY TO BE ABLE TO SYNC DIRECTLY WITH QUICKBOOKS. IT IS IN REAL TIME NO DELAY. NO NEED TO DUPLICATE CUSTOMER LISTS. I WOULD LIKE ADDITIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF. I USUALLY HAVE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE AND THEN THEY GET BACK TO ME. THEY ARE VERY GOOD WITH HELPING ME TO UNDERSTAND THIS NEW PRODUCT.

the only issue I have is that it freezes up on me sometimes and I have to shut down and restart but then it will work well again for a long period of time. I think that there should be longer training and go over more of the program instead of just the basics and then you have to figure it out or call support.

I like the ability to look at all of the technicians' schedules at a glance. It's also easy to reassign work.

Cons

Finding completed work is difficult. I also have to remember to check specific boxes to get all the info needed.

I would recommend this product to other Heating & Air Conditioning companies. I work in the office and have loved the servicemen on the road doing there own tickets. It frees up alot of time for me. So far i have had only a few questions and the customer service has been phenomenal.

Pros

Love that this product is connected to Quickbooks. Easy way to combine banking, scheduling, jobs and invoices and many more all in one. Glad it is user friendly and able to edit or change anything quickly.

Cons

Some glitches here or there but usually easily remedied. Customer service is usually pretty quick with any questions or concerns. Overall, good product!

Pros

It integrated with out our accounting program. Real time interaction with our service techs in the field.

Cons

I can not use our own forms, with out time consuming efforts to create them. In order to use our forms we need to create them our selves using PDF Doc. too time consuming for me. Would prefer to be able to upload them in a word or excel format. (it is an access program should be compatible)

There are not many cons I can think of. There are some improvements that could be made to the software, but nothing that ha caused us any problems. The pros are numerous including increased efficiency and production by streamlining our scheduling and billing process.

The best part about Smart Service is its scheduling/dispatching feature. It works great with our line of business where we have reoccurring jobs.

Cons

Reports can be difficult to manage and understand.
