Pros
The editing and testing in real time is great. The ability to use the tools that I've been using more efficiently is great.
User friendly, good training videos and blog, Good documentation, no installation needed, comaptibility with excel is good.
Very good, and i hope the price is not expensive like others app. The features is also complete and suitable for my needs.
Each post is replied with great care and with light speed. This is the place where you feel the warmth of a family, intimacy and you clearly see how everyone cares about you and your problems.
Cons
The versions with all features are slightly priced higher. Sometimes we get debugging errors and the explanations are hard to understand.
The error messages themselves were a bit vague. However, in the past few months, I've noticed improvements in this area.
As mentioned before, the limited customization options.
Confused about how to get something to work, the community is filled with users who're very knowledgeable about the platform and are always willing to help a fellow user out.

"Coding for people who don't code"
Overall: AppSheet was great for implementing small applications in the workplace, meant to be used by one person. Once the ideas started to take off, there was a lot of limitations I ran into, including price. At that point I found it more lacerative too look into other solutions and migrate my apps to another platform.
Pros: AppSheet is an incredible piece of software that easily integrates with Google Sheets, Excel, Salesforce, and others. Its GUI is very user friendly, and allows new/amature coders to create full web-apps with minimal knowledge. Very easy to use, and produces apps quickly.
Cons: Price-point, and bugs. Knowing the number of variables AppSheet has to account for in any app, there are still certain kinks that need to be worked out. Also, AppSheet is free, unless you really want to utilize all of its features. Unfortunately, once you start getting into apps that require multiple users, or creating workflows, then you start paying per user, or a tier based price structure per app. With competition quickly rising, their prices are easily beat by competitors like PowerApps.
"The Greatest Tool for Solving Niche Business Data Problems"
Overall: I LOVE APPSHEET. It has become an essential part of my business toolkit. It's easy to start but learning to build apps that can do lots of complicated things does take time (at least for now). The community is great and if you're willing to stick with the process of learning how the tool works, you'll be richly rewarded. If you're someone that is comfortable using formula tools in spreadsheets, you'll do fine with Appsheet but I think anyone can learn to build killer apps using this tool.
Pros: I have found Appsheet to be one of the best tools for solving the annoying gaps that exist in most off the shelf business software for small businesses. After working at the same company for 22 years and being disappointed by the limitations of most 'off the shelf' business software programs, I started using app sheet as a way to supplement those tools, while still relying heavily on spreadsheets. During my tenure there, the [sensitive content hidden] would push back on my request to build more complicated apps to automate and structure all the spreadsheet tools we were using. Then, when I left and they were faced with trying to manage my cobbled together system, they asked if I could help and I was able to say that the best bet was not for me to train people how to use that system but rather really invest in building more robust application based tools. 6 months into the journey and the list of possible apps keeps growing. Here are the biggest pro's as I see it:Easy to get started, especially if you're already using Google SheetsGreat community with lots of support when you have a problemVery powerful capabilities, once you figure out how to use it. Pace of upgrades and improvements seems to have picked up since Google purchased it. Data tables can all be google sheets stored in the companies google drive. This was a big selling point when I was trying to convince my former employer to invest in bigger apps because the data would always be theirs and always be accessible.
Cons: 1. The process of turning all the cool data into printed or .pdf reports is relatively difficult when compared to every other aspect of using the tool. 2. You'll get addicted to building apps and start saying "I could build an app for that" in almost any business conversation you have. (and in personal ones too!)
"Very simplistic and limited app design tool"
Overall: I was desappointed by AppSheet and I would recommend Mincrosoft Power Apps instead anytime.
Pros: It is very easy to setup and it is very easy to create a small web app.
Cons: There is almost no personalization options available on this tool. There is no way to create a minimum of complexity in the app.
"Solid tool for no-code/low-code development"
Pros: AppSheet is an excellent tool for product managers seeking to create custom applications without coding. Its intuitive, no-code platform enables users to build and deploy apps quickly, enhancing productivity and enabling rapid prototyping. The integration with various data sources such as Google Sheets, Excel, and SQL databases is powerful.
Cons: AppSheet's no-code approach may come with limitations for more complex app requirements, where the lack of advanced customization and coding options might be restrictive.
"Best no-code application builder for Google Workspace customers"
Pros: It is mostly simple to use and get set up. It integrates well with Google Workspace.
Cons: There isn't a great data storage solution. The built-in AppSheet spreadsheet editor has many limits on how many tables you can have. Using sheets also gives you other limitlimitationsaitons related to table linking.
"Useful platform to build simple no-code apps"
Overall: AppSheet is a great tool to quickly create and share apps by simply linking them to a Google Sheet and creating user-friendly GUIs. Other integrations with the most important platforms on the market are available as well.
Pros: Great integrations with Google Sheets, allowing to build simple web apps without coding a single line.
Cons: If you don't get a paid plan, you may find limitations that can be bothersome.
"AppSheet Review"
Overall: i'm amazed!!!! Stunned!
Pros: Would like to have more debugging tools to help correct programming. would be helpful to have partial results on expressions, (eg.) if(Lookup(Useremail(),"Colaboradores","Email","Role")="SuperAdmin",Select(Folha de Caixa[Caixa_Key],[Colaborador_Key]=[Email],True), Select(Folha de Caixa[Caixa_Key],[Colaborador_Key]=[_THISROW].[Email],True) )On this expression it would be amazing if we could "on mouse over" see partial results from the expression to help debug.
Cons: Nothing really important comes to mind, all i need is more tutorials from Youtube :)
"Easy to use and retrieve old documents."
Overall: Fantastic experience!
Pros: Ideal for apprentice healthcare providers.
Cons: I don't have any concerns with this app so far.
"Convenience and speed to build"
Pros: I was able to develop apps within few minutes
Cons: I have ro negative reviews. It serves purpose
"User friendly"
Overall: Interesting
Pros: Workfull and easy way to start an app based on the models
Cons: first contact not easy. Even with the models, hard to improve a new workflow or rule
"Ease of use"
Overall: Amazing for non-tech people to understand UI.
Pros: Advantage of this app is its ease of use. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it easy for even non-technical users to build complex applications quickly.
Cons: Limited functionality and lack of support for more complex applications.
"Great for starting out with app development and exploring potential ideas"
Overall: As I learned more about developing an app in AppSheet I became more knowledgeable in how to add different features and workflows. We thankfully didn't need a quick, robust solution built up immediately and we were able to play with it on our own over the course of about two years to eventually get to what we needed.
Pros: I really liked starting off with AppSheet to just explore some options for a solution we needed. It was very beginner-friendly and allowed me to design a concept and then test it out without investing a lot of money for a professional custom-coded app.
Cons: The workflows and automations can be a bit tricky to get set up. Creating user limitations has not been super easy and I'd like to see user profiles that set permissions for different user groups.
"An Excellent Business App"
Pros: Useful and Light-weight App that encompasses all businesses. With its no-code feature makes it comfortable for entrepreneurs to navigate and customize design/content from pool of templates easily integrated to other platforms.
Cons: There is none that I dislike about this App.
"AppSheet Review"
Overall: AppSheet is a great tool to build your app with minimal knowledge.
Pros: since I know nothing about coding, AppSheet allows me to create my own applications from the data that I have, I can easily integrate this software with other software like Google Sheets or Excel.
Cons: the custom designs in AppSheet are great, but I will appreciate it if there are more of them
"Create almost everything"
Overall: Great in all aspects. It helped us to grow much faster by gaining new cliens through rapid development and workflow automation.
Pros: Easy to learn Resourceful for learning, easy to find the required answer in help center and community page. Very much customer oriented. Samples apps are very simple to learn each functionality. Very responsive to customers.
Cons: UX: Web view; It would be great if the look of Web browser view is improved. It would be much easier faster for new creators to Learn if there are some sample apps that run in full functionalities and integrate with "In-App-Tutorial". Less focus on developing financial apps although there are some mini budgeting app.
"If you thought getting a mobile app for your business was expensive and tough, think AppSheet."
Overall: Our field sales team is brought together on a common platform that is easy for the users and managers as well. The spreadsheet interface also allows almost all usuaal spreadsheet app capabilities to be made use of easily
Pros: Its the ease of building an app from a Google Sheet and then having the freedom to shape it up with a full-fledged admin panel. And the beauty is that I haven't had to use the admin panel for months together: the app has been going on and on, without any interruption! I have no piece of hardware or software to worry about or monitor on a daily basis
"Build Customers Solutions with No Experience"
Overall: My experience with Appsheet has been very positive. I was able to create a custom mobile solution that wouldn't have otherwise been obtainable financially for our company.
Pros: The possibilities with AppSheet are endless. I built an app that shows a listing of odd inventory for our lumber company. While the system does require some knowledge of formulas, conditional formatting and database structure, most of that can be learned through their tutorials.
Cons: Activating the app on user's phones can be somewhat annoying. Unless you go to the higher paid tier, you can only use Google accounts to access the app.
"A Swiss Army Knife for business processes"
Overall: Financial management of reactive and planned maintenance on a large support contract and company intranet so far.
Pros: For what is a very complex and powerful product the user interface is intuitive. I'm on a learning curve and regularly break my apps during the development stage, but the UI always tells me why and how to fix it. We use Smartsheets for business collaboration but it has real limitations when sharing information between multiple teams, and in the area of workflows. Appsheet does add a layer of complexity but enables us to solve these issues. The mapping functionality is also great and adding images makes for visually appealing apps.
Cons: Not knowing everything about it yet. There is no code to learn as such but a lot of functionality. Once you learn how expressions work you can exert a lot of control over the user experience, and control data entry, and am only just starting to do this.
"Very easy way to create a functional mobile app with simple spreadsheets"
Overall: Overall, this worked fairly well for our company at the beginning. We used it to organize work orders for technicians and we loved the customization options, however, we ended up growing out of it and switched to a software that was more expensive, but already set up to handle the work load we have.
Pros: It's very easy to create an app with some simple data. You can add many fields and it's much easier to create this type of app than to learn code and become an app developer. It's pretty user friendly and has a lot of simply easy to use features. You can add maps, phone numbers, forms, price lists, or slideshows. It's a great way to organize work for a team and everyone can easily see it. Very customizable.
Cons: If you use the free version, there is a very long loading time required. If you use the paid version, it might be worth your time to look into software that is customized to your business needs already. You may find something for slightly more that will work well. You will be using Google Sheets for all your data and information. If you are uncomfortable with a spreadsheet, this may not be the best for you.
"User friendly, cool, cute and cheap"
Overall: Program, designs and web development
Pros: Yes you very accessible and user-friendly
Cons: Timely, user friendly, cheap and accuracy
"Easy to use"
Overall: Appsheet is one from many DIY apps that easy to use and very sufficient to my needs. I use this app to record daily sales report from our salesman, and also to monitor daily market. I work in a Telecommunication company, and this app helped me to understand the products from our competitors based on what our sales reported with this app. I'm no expert in "IT-things", but this app is very easy to use actually and what you really need to build your own app is just simple formula from excel. And you can get the data easily because it's synchronized with Google Drive & Docs.
Pros: - Easy to use - Appsheet's Team got very fast response about our complains / errors with the app - Provides "more-than-enough" features - and many more...
Cons: I have no cons about this app (so far)
"Prototype and play"
Overall: We created an app we have one able to sell as mvp to more than 60 users
Pros: Super easy to create an app with no dev skills Smart spreadsheets connections to app Very intuitive approach Free until you release giving you time to play Offering new features regularly
Cons: Only English Would need more options for users management and invites for learner onboarding
"Create an App for Sales and Marketing Funnel"
Overall: Able to bring to businesses a recommendation to handle their intake and capture data. Very helpful in working as a consultant. I liked everything I saw about this product. Google did a really good job with this. People might balk at having to pay for User Authentication, but if one is actually going to use this in a business setting it is necessary for security purposes. At that point, it is easy enough to step up to a White Label Option.
Pros: One click deployment of app. Mobile ready. Includes database. Customization. Ability to integrate into WordPress. Step-by-step process. No coding experience necessary.
"REview on appsheets"
Pros: Quicker development features, and ease of understanding
Cons: deployment and cloud configuration seemed quite complex
"AppSheet - Great for my music school"
Overall: I work at a music school with about 35 employees, mostly music teachers. We had been looking for a way to transition from lesson notes in individual teacher binders to a paperless system to cut waste and improve communication between teachers and administration. We use a lot of Google Sheets, so the AppSheet platform was a good fit. In fact, it turned that the capabilities of AppSheet wildly exceeded our initial plan. Now, not only are the lesson notes paperless, but their cross-referenced to students' other programs, and students can request materials and schedule performances within the app. One of the other administrators told me yesterday he doesn't know how we functioned before the app existed. It's an eight year old business, and we've been using the app for five weeks. I gave it three stars for ease of use mostly because I failed to use the easy parts. I very quickly started using the Advanced Editor, and I think that a person's perception of that part of the service as easy or difficult to use will depend mostly on what you've experienced in the past. I don't have a great point of reference personally, but I have successfully used a lot of expressions and integrations in AppSheet despite having no training or formal experience with coding, and a limited history of spreadsheet use. I've had to contact customer service a few times through their user community. A couple of times my troubles turned out to be bugs, which were resolved within an hour of my post (once on a Saturday). In all cases support was responsive and thorough.
