Using google sheets we have recorded all our data, all our team member have access to all races we have participated, future events, image gallery....Infinite possibilities with Appsheet. I searched the net for something that is easy to use and for a non programmer to fulfil their dreams to create apps. I would have tried 10-15 platforms but there is no comparison to AppSheet. I have created a business app without even writing a single line of code. Customer service : The AppSheet community is very powerful and the people at the organization takes very good care of its customers. I am still using their free version while I am building my app and not gone on production, but never felt that they are differentiating between paid customers or free customers when it comes to helping them. None of the issues or tips I needed took more than 4-5 hours to be responded to. Not just the people at AppSheet but other users in the community also jumps and provide help. A remarkable example of customer service. Releases : AppSheet what I feel follows true agile methodology for their development and releases. seeks inputs from users in the community on what features they want and based on voting decides the priorities. The releases are also frequent so that we get to see something enhanced or new in one or two weeks. Issue management : If there is any defect reported I guess it is solved within 4-8 hours. Truly a great app. Thanks. Cons It has its limitation right now. I am hoping this is a development problem so that this is something that keeps getting better. For instance I would like to have the gps / map functionality report the schools, churches, malls, restaurants, points of interest such as parks on the map. As a realtor I created a app that shows my team our listings. It would be a wonderful thing if I could also say where are the closest schools. Pros I most liked that it was easy to use resources we already had in the form of spreadsheets and databases. We didn't have to recreate/reformat anything to create the app. Cons I least liked that the chain of command for support is not direct. I had an instance where I wasn't getting a reply and had sent three emails, but no-one new from support would help me because the first guy was handling it. This was time-consuming and inefficient and made me feel as though the whole support team rested on one person. The integration with Airtable is still in it's very early stages so if all your data is in Airtable, I would recommend moving to Google Sheets if your heart is set on Appsheet. It is a great application, so useful, and its templates allows people with fewer experience to work in software develop. Pros As a user, you don't have to be an expert dealing with codes, data structures and so on. Just using your smart devices, you can get nice results. I notice that the app runs in Android systems and Iphone too. The way you can personalize your work was so nice and intuitive for me. Cons ..but it's total useless, even when you want to create a holiday dinner app, it can't be elaborated, one can't add other dishes other than the ones that are by default offered in the program, the place of the dinner on the map is also set by default and can't be changed. We love being able to see and use Google Sheets for the back end data base. With no programming skills, we can build customs apps within 60 minutes. Our staff on the ground has been thankful for how much easier it is than the old spreadsheet systems. Pros Simple easy to use. Google Sheets can store all the data.
