Along the way, I have used several other platforms in my business due to client preference, but I use My Hours for my own business, and nothing will change that. I have found it to be the best and the easiest platform to use. Any problems (there has only been two) have been dealt with swiftly and with no fuss. I couldn't recommend this product/service enough. I think almost all of my colleagues use it to track their hours. I love the new weekly email summaries it sends (before I had to download spreadsheets and then enter the data from there into our corporate tool). The ability to edit/personalise the different levels of information (project and task) is really helpful, because we work on so many projects for different clients, with tasks that are similar across projects. Cons It would be great if I could edit the format of the weekly reports it emails me (it's in decimals, but I report my time in HH:MM). Review Source HM Halim M. Excellent tool to record, monitor and analyze the way you use your time. Pros The product is very easy to use and very intuitive. You can basically start with no preparation no training and get to a point where you actually gain real value from the product. Also the product is very flexible and allows you to run time tracking in many different ways with no limitations. The product does not restrict you in any way. Cons At points the product makes it is easy to make mistakes. You need to be careful about how you put in information. THe product does not protect you from your own mistakes. This helps me be aware of how much time I spend on various projects and how much time I am wasting on unproductive things. It has helped be much more disciplined when it comes to how I spent my time. When I embark on a new assignment, I can quickly check the total time investment I made in similar projects in the past and thus can easily conclude if I can commit to something or not and what changes need to be done to my time allocation so that I can be quick in making decisions. Pros I can customise my list of projects, rename them and archive the ones that I no longer need. I can run reports for any time period and I can export the data. Pros I use this tool for my own personal time tracking to see how I am managing my time across multiple projects and I like how easy it is to use on my desktop for this purpose. I can easily track hours on a project or for a client and obtain time spent results in an instant. With a few key strokes I can quickly look back at any year and find my income earned on a project, for a client, or for a time period i.e., first quarter 2019. Great time tracking software and I have recommended it to many. Pros My Hours software is easy to use and most of all it is reliable and the easiest way to track time on a project or for a client. July 15, 2019 5.0 Their customer service has been EXTREMELY helpful and I believe there have been times that they used my suggestions to improve the software. There's nothing better for tracking time at this pricepoint (I use the free version). If I could get the rest of my colleagues to use this software, it'd be great to see everything logged at an enterprise level. Hopefully some day! Pros The dashboard feature makes it great to see my time logged per week vs. a project and it has become extremely valuable to me. Easy time-tracking entry makes it quick to change between projects without delay/interruption. Cons I think there could be an even more minimal design to the tracker-page when logging time, but honestly, I've gotten quick with it and I'm able to log time within 15 seconds per task easily. I manage a few different businesses so I have used other time manage apps like Time n Eye etc. It's simple for everyone to use. One thing I'd request is to get a notification when my staff logs times. I probably don't wanna get a notification from everyone, but for a new staff, I'd like to see if she leaves work, then get notified on my phone etc. Pros it's simple, easy to manage people and projects. I love that I can assign people with different rates. The pricing is also very affordable. Cons The app for iPhone has to be improved. I get complain from my team a lot about the app how the interface design is not easy to use etc. Reason for choosing My Hours Pricing. Custom-able. The app needs to be improved. I can have different rates, dozens of clients and create Projects and Tasks easily. I thought, "if they can create a website this useful, their product must be well designed, too." I was right. My Hours is easy to learn and easy to use. Setting up new parameters for my jobs on the fly is quick and intuitive. I never have to relearn anything. I have been using My Hours for documenting my projects, breaking down my activity, and keeping track of billable hours. I've used it for contract jobs and temp roles. I've also used it as an employee to log my daily activity in order to be able to communicate my value and quantify my labor for budgeting to my department. Whatever I need to do, I've always found My Hours can do it, all while sporting an interface that is clean, uncluttered, and user friendly. Cons I have no complaints. I have been thinking I might suggest some additional input shortcuts for autofilling the time form fields, after I play more with the current features. Review Source RG Radu G. Pros It's so easy to use and simple. It's great for time tracking. Cons It has some strange bug when convering hours into cash at billing. Always made some errors and I didn't understand why, talked with the support about it. Not sure if it's fixed now. We have been able to better track clients projects and adjust our future proposals accordingly. Pros It's very easy and intuitive to use plus it's fast and reliable. It's very customizable and has a lot of other data tracking features that make it very valuable for evaluating how much work we do and ultimately money we spend on clients projects. Cons The only thing I don't like is that if you scroll back several days in a row very quickly, the hours shown on screen don't always match the day you're looking at. This can be misleading at first but is easily solved by waiting for the software to catch up and then going ahead a single day. I would definitely recommend this software to anyone because it is super easy to use and I am able to send my time tracking directly to my clients without any extra steps. Pros I like that this software is free, depending on your needs. It is super easy to jump right in and start using and it also offers a app for your phone. Setting up clients or certain services that you do the most, is super quick and I can send hours directly to my clients from the software. Cons The only thing I don't like is that I have not found that it integrates with any other software, that is really my only con, but it isn't such a big deal that I would change from using it. The free version had plenty of features for separating hours worked, and reporting time against various tasks. I now have one job where I track my hours, and My Hours does all that I need. Total experience with the product is about a year and a half. Pros Very usable free version. Ads are unobtrusive. No nagging to upgrade. Works well, features and improvements are steadily added. Cons Hard to find anything to complain about. If I 'pause' a task, and leave the web browser open, it will appear to resume the task. Closing and refreshing displays the correct 'paused' state. As a small business owner, I was looking for options that fit my budget and basic needs. I tried several different applications, but I ended up sticking with My Hours service - it has an intuitive graphical interface, very clear summaries by project/person, weekly/monthly views, and on top of that, they offer a free plan in the basic version.
