Pros This is a great time tracking software to keep track of all your projects and work. It allows users to accurately log each activity and attribute time to that activity. The best feature is the analytics, as you can breakdown each task and see where all your hours are being spent and on which activity. You can see the weekly time sheets, and hours per activity so you know where all your time is going. You can list different projects with different tasks, so this is really a great tool. Highly recommended. It is free to use which makes it even better. Cons In terms of data analytics I'm still trying to figure out features for certain data comparisons. As we are new to using this, I am sure it has the functionality, and we just need to dig deeper. For general uses, this is a great product. The usability is really nice and i value that i can change Pros It's simple and easy to use, there is everything i need in it. I combine it with another tool for billing and this combination really works for me. Since most other tools are overloaded with functionality i like the simplicity of MyHours. Cons The iPhone App could have a bit more functionality. Also i was not convinced of the feature to create bills out of the tracked hours that's why i switched to another tool for that. Visibility into their reported hours is key when not in a room with everyone. My hours does that job. Pros Affordability was key when looking for a time tracking software. My team uses it with ease and I can run reports on where their time is spent. Adding a user takes just a few minutes, and they are up and running. Cons The user access control and account creation are lacking some key features. Having only 2 security roles is limiting in functionality. I do not want a manager to see what all employees are making, nor what billable costs are. I also want non-admin users to be able to create projects and allocate time to those projects with out administrative intervention. Also, when creating a new user, it would be nice to be able to assign them to current projects instead of just future projects. Review Source MH Mike H. You will be up and running in a matter of minutes. The interface is very intuitive with a logically presented set of options. I'm a sole trader and just wanted to be able to track my time with the minimum of fuss. I started out using the free version but over time decided it would be nice to integrate the time tracking with the invoicing feature, so I upgraded. I have had a great experience with this product, it has performed faultlessly and any of my technical questions have been answered promptly by customer support. I highly recommend giving it a go. Pros \-Superfast learning curve -Bulletproof implementation -total reliability Cons \-The invoicing feature has limited customisation (That needs to be fixed pronto!) -The mobile app is functional but very limited Reason for choosing My Hours The cost-benefit analysis came down squarely in MYHours favour. I had to manually report on total time per client and that was too time consuming to calculate my profit margins. Now with My Hours I can even break it down by project within a client and it calculates totals for me helping me ensure I’m charging my clients appropriately. Pros The ability to breakdown time by client and project is amazing. Saves me a ton of time on reporting. Cons Even administrators can’t adjust a time entry that’s been approved. Cons There are several export customizations option missing that would help to save some end of month time. Pros I am using the free package which is fantastic. Before this time, I was using manual methods to keep a record of my time on a daily basis and using separate spreadsheets for each project. This isn't ideal for me as I can be working on up to 10 different projects a day. I love the fact that I can click on one button to get a project up and edit that project and description of time spent at the click of a button. Cons For a p\[eriod of time I wasn't unable to report timesheets for specific projects and only export. That seems to have been fixed. I can't get it on my phone as I have an Apple phone. My clients are highly impressed with the end of month report as well. Pros So easy to bill clients at the end of the month, this saves me a huge amount of time. Adding up fractions of hours is messy. When did you actually start working? Let My Hours do the math and timekeeping for you! My Hours helps keep you organized. Your organization goes as deep as you want it to go, it can be basic with just tracking time against a client, or you can track time against a project, and even deeper to track it by a specific task on a project. The reports help make monthly billing a breeze by tallying up all of my hours worked on what client, project, and task. The reports also take into consideration the fee you designate for each item, so it gives you an overall total dollar amount to bill. Simple. Pros Flexibility to go into as much or as little organizational depth as I want for each client or project. I am not forced into anything. Cons Re-using tasks for other projects can be difficult sometimes. I find I have multiple of the same task just assigned to a different project. Review Source CP Cora P. Can't imagine living without it! Pros I like that I can use the product online, because I don't have install permission on my work computer. The projects and tasks are also great because I need to track how much time I spend on a variety of tasks. Reports are useful for long and medium term trends. Cons Only the most minor issues have come up. One feature that might be useful is tracking two projects concurrently. Sometimes when multitasking I'd like to be tracking both projects.
