I have been using this product for years and will continue to do so. Cons I would like if the user could just restart the same timer as opposed to creating another one for the same type of task. Associate Executive Director Non-Profit Organization Management Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Tracking Hours in My Hours is Easy" July 15, 2019 5.0 We use the free version and it does everything we want except the ability to manage company wide changes (so you have to go into each person to add a project for example). We don't make changes often, so the cost of upgrading isn't worth it to us now given how small we are and our limited budget. If we get grants we need to track we will upgrade to the paid version - its not terribly expensive. Pros The ability to set up 3 different categories - clients, projects and tasks - is really handy. We use the Client category for our different program and administrative categories. The reports are great, you can export the data easily and I like the ability to have the software track the time or you can enter the time. Cons The only negative for me, and it really isn't a big issue, is when using the track time function you only have the option to put a note in, not select the client and task. So you have to go back to edit it afterward. Reason for choosing My Hours The software is so easy. Pros I love that it keeps time for the tasks that I do all day at work. I like the easability of manipulating the time if I missed starting the timer or ending the timer for a task. Cons I can't think of any cons, but to be picky, I feel like the project name should be bigger than the Note when displayed. Review Source CU Colin U. Pros I like that it is simple to use and gets the job done without any hassles. It makes tracking and logging my hours and generating a report for my clients easy to do even using the free version which is quite comprehensive enough for my needs. Cons The only thing I haven't liked about this program is that if you add a task to a project on the tracking page, there is no option to add the billing amount to the task. As a company we can set up different types of tasks with it, billing costs, and you can even send voice messages. Reports can be done as well and you can even download those reports as pdfs. By overall is a very helpfull app that saves you time and money. Pros The thing I like the most about My hours app is that yes it is a very modern project time tracking app, but my favorite part is that it comes with the tools that help you track the costs, hours and expenses each project is going to have, which I feel for a company is very detailed and helpful. My Hours just simplifies the entire process by keeping track of my time for me. At the end of the month, I just export my excel report and draw up my invoice for my clients. Out of all the time tracking software I have used, I settled on My Hours because it is easy and convenient to use. Pros 1\. I like that you can manually edit your time. Sometimes I am working and I forget to actually start my time for a new task. In that case, I can easily go back and just manually input my time. 2. " July 15, 2019 5.0 Pros I have about 250 clients that are all billed at different hourly or flat rates, so this helps me keep track of my time and my employees' time easily. Cons I bill my clients hourly and I have various clients at different hourly rates, but I only charge my employees' time at a 2:1 rate, so I wish there was a feature that allowed me to calculate my total bill that way. For example, if I bill a client $200/hour, and I work for one hour then I charge them $200. But if my employees work for one hour on that client, I only charge the client $100; however, in myhours it shows up as one hour at $200. Review Source JM Julie M. Pros I'm a freelance marketeer with a number of clients, My Hours is easy to track how many hours I do for each and on what products, it's simple to use and you can us it online or on your app, so if you take a call out and about you can record it. I love the ease of producing my monthly reports for invoicing. I've never had to call customer support as it's never gone wrong, touch wood! Cons When setting up a new client/project it's sometimes diff cult to find the place to put hourly rate, it's a drop down option and not so obvious, maybe a tick box would be better. Time entires are fast and painless (not always the case with other products) and the way you can sort and look at your data afterwards is great. I wouldn't want to run my business without it any more. Pros My Hours has a very intuitive, easy to use interface. It's sleek and modern, yet highly adaptable to my individual needs. Cons I don't like the invoicing part of the software - but I need to highly customize them anyway, so it would go beyond the capabilities of any online service. I export all my data into a spread sheet and then create my invoices based on my individual templates. August 9, 2019 5.0 Working on many different projects during a week it is very nice to not have to think about registering hours in different sheets. Just hit start and stop on the different timers I have created. When time comes to do boring invoicing I just create a report and enter the amount on my invoice. Literally saves me hours when doing invoices. Plus it makes me look more professional when i attach the hours report to the invoice for the client! Pros The fact that it is easy to switch between projects The confidence it gives me when invoicing clients The fact that it frees up my mind to focus on my job The fact that i can change registered hours in case i forget to stop the clock! This means I don't have to try to remember what I did X days ago because I need to bill some time. Pros It just works, I use it to track my time against projects and it's very easy to use and flexible for me. I don't spend any time fighting the software, just go in record my time and it's done. Cons My only one very minor irritation is that I track down to 15 minutes increments and I haven't found a way to change the default for the duration entry to be minutes not hours.
