I can either see all hours worked or by client. I have not found a better tool for these purposes Pros The software is easy to set up and use. Provides good reports for invoicing. Pros helps me keep track of the hours I work as a consultant. Super simple, no extra gadgets that get in the way. It's so easy to lose track of time when you are checking emails or reviewing documents and the "play" and "stop" function has probably kept me from subconsciously rounding down and making less money. This lets me do just that, easily. I have tried similar products before, but when I found I felt this is the one that does just what I need it to do, just right. Pros All I need to do is open the page and press "play", and my time is recorded. I can annotate the time segments if I wish, and reporting is easy. Cons There have been no problems or negatives in over a year of use. It serves every purpose I need it for. The use of colours is great and everything is simply laid out so I can see where I'm at at any time of the month in terms of both time and money. Pros This software is really easy to use, the app works more or less the same as the desktop version for logging time. I love the use of colours in the overviews of activity etc, makes it really easy for me to see where I'm using my time. Cons It doesn't look as snazzy as some others I've seen but this wasn't an issue for me as it served its purpose perfectly. I also like the flexibility to create tasks within projects, and projects within clients, so at the end of each project I can create a nice report of how I spent my time. Cons I wish there were more filtering options, like "show all time to this project" and it would automatically set the date range from the first to the last time you put time towards that project. It is stable and the tracking and reporting are clear. Pros The reporting feature is clear and allows you to see at a glance exactly how your time is managed. I mainly use the basic time recording features but can see how the other features would help with project management. Cons The software could use some kind of page closing notification if you have a log open. It is a minor point but there have been occasions when recording has continued after I closed the page. If you are a bigger business or you need integration with other applications, then this may not be the timekeeping solution for you. Pros This software was exactly what I needed. It offered online timekeeping and makes it easy for me to track and invoice my time. It’s free for a single user and pretty cheap for multiple users. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use. The invoicing is easy to do and looks very professional. It keeps good records and is simple to look at timesheets over periods of time. Cons I don’t think this software integrates with any other software, such as project management or productivity software and that may be an issue with some businesses. For flat-fee projects, I like using MyHours to see how much money I make per hour, allowing me to evaluate the my fees and make better financial and rate decisions in the future. Pros The free plan offers a desktop timer, activity summaries, and report exporting. All of these help me track my time for a client. If a customer ask what i have been using my time for, I can allways answer and even send him a review from Myhours. I tried a number of time tracking tools but none of them really did what I wanted, then I found MyHours and since then I've been able to make sure work I do is paid for. I highly recommend MyHours to anyone needing to track multiple projects. I can track my time for multiple clients very easily and still be able to export the information to bill my clients. Cons I do realize I'm using the free version and I can pay for full functionality. This is extremely value information for determining the value of my time and what to charge clients. Pros The cost. It's pretty simple to use. visually, it has a nice clean design. Cons There isn't anything that I don't like. However, I think the Task area could use some improvements. Perhaps save tasks in some sort of group for future selection for the same type of project, so that they don't have to repeatedly entered and saved. Since I use the software to clock my time across a variety of projects from video production, to map building, to writing content for ebooks, webpages, i.e---it would be nice to be able to group the different tasks/steps that occur to bring each project to fruit, and just select them because they pertain to that type of project. Reason for choosing My Hours The cost was affordable and there was a trial period.
