The customer support is great - whether it is the forms and resources of the live chat. Also the general setup, features, details is awesome and I would be totally lost without it.

Pros

Ease of setting up a client or project, and editing a project, tasks, or reporting. Customizable reports at all levels of detail.

Cons

There are a few "nice to have" features which are not currently available: including the ability to scope an employee to a certain total hours and target utilization rates, and then to be able to see via AI or reports, how many more hours they could take on in a given week or month.

I have been using similar apps for over 6 years and in the last 3 years I am using only MyHours app - it is the best from my point of view. It has a really simple format allowing it to be quickly understood by new users and it responds to most of my requirements.MyHours is available in web and app mode and allowing to be used anywhere and at any time which can really help if you have a lot of small customers. You always can add, edit and check notes regarding your job tasks, time tracking, create any notes, and even add some images for recording. Reports from MyHours help me to create invoices, and avoid any situation when I can forget something.I have to add, It is reliable - I didn't find any losses in my records and didn't meet any interruption in access to my data over all time. As I am using it just for my individual small businesses, I can truly confirm - It's a nice solution for that.

Pros

it has a free unlimited by-time versionit is reliable I always have access to all my notes and recordsIt is possible to switch to Pro plan with additional options

Cons

Pros

The interface to enter hours by project and task with tags either manually or automatic time tracking. The clean crisp appearance, the configurability, as well as the customization capabilities of the Activity Report.

Sometimes I have to think a bit on how to switch time tracking modes, for example from the daily time log to the weekly timesheet view.

Reason for choosing My Hours

The ability manage time tracking by project, tasks, and tags. The ability generate pdf activity reports. The easy to use and intuitive interface for entering billable time by client and project. The affordability, as well as the modern, professional and elegant interface of all the features compared to the others products that I trialed led to an easy decision to move forward with . After several months of use, I am very pleased with my decision.

Pros

I like how easy this tool is to use. I tried may other tools, but this one was the one. The whole structure and layout of tool is super intuitive, no unnecessary features are there. I think this is a hidden gem.

I can't really think about any weak parts of this tool. Free version is everything I need.

It's been great. I have been very happy since purchasing this product and the amount I've saved in ensuring proper billing has more than covered the cost of purchasing .

Pros

Tracking time is an ongoing struggle for our company as we do billable hours and need to track everything, down to the minute. allows us to quickly and easily enter our projects and tasks on the go, save our all worked hours, set if it's billable, and report on all tasks on a daily, monthly, and weekly basis. Having the ability to track by the minute has ensured that we do not lose out on any possible billings.

Cons

The only feature I wish it had was that we could track multiple tasks at a time per user. We often run an update for a client that runs in the background as we work on other tasks. Having this feature would save us time in having to duplicate our own tracking.

Very useful with extra features; showing percentages of where I spend time, tracking expenses like mileage. Meets all my main goals

Pros

The free version first, but I like how you can create categories then make notes specifically for the time you spent as well as add expenses. It's also very helpful to report out to my board where I'm spending my time and I can put it into a pie chart with percentages, which is so helpful when sending this data to our bookkeepers.

Cons

Having to use the ":" when entering hours and the terms used aren't intuitive, like I always fumble around trying to pick the right report I want or to set up new categories.

I find that it's much easier to provide a time sheet to my client, and I like the layout and the reporting function of . I'm now considering to upgrade my free plan so I can utilise the time budget feature.

There is so much value in the Free plan. It's easy to use, and I like the layout.

Cons

I would love a desktop app for Mac please. Sometimes I forget to stop the timer on the browser. I'm afraid I don't like using the app on my phone as I find my phone distracting when I'm at work so rather not have to touch the phone.

Generally I am pleased with and it does what it says on the tin. It is important that I can keep accurate time and associated costs as a draughtsman and particualry for amendments and changes in projects. I also offer software support to my clients and it is vital that I can allocate time against their support contract. In both cases it is important that I can generate a report of usage for my clients - My Hours does it all.

Pros

I needed a solution for time tracking that was stand alone and would not take me weeks to get to grips with. I was able to set up and use straight out of the gate.

Cons

Initially it took me a little while to get to grips with filtering for reports but it was never a critical failing.

I've been using for over 3 years. Anytime I've had issues, questions or requests, I've been able to chat with the Help staff and ALWAYS receive a prompt response and resolution to my question/issue. I find it to be intuitive and very user friendly - and creates administrative efficiencies so that I can focus on the actual work! Great value for the price!

Pros

I am an independent consultant and use daily to track my work time for several clients. I am able to create tasks specific to my work/industry and thus can track HOW I spend my time for each client. Additionally, I can easily and efficiently generate invoices at the end of each month and attach detailed reports to detail my work.

Cons

I'd like to be able to generate an invoice with the corresponding detail/report in one go. Currently, I generate the detailed or dashboard report separately, PDF it and attach it as back-up to the corresponding invoice.

Pros

It has simplified and modernised the process of time tracking on projects for me. Being able to create separate projects and associate them with particular clients helps me quote for future work more effectively and ensure I'm invoicing the correct amount on project completion. Being able to separate specific tasks is also helpful. As a video editor it's very easy to lose track of time on projects, so I wouldn't be without this software moving forward.

Cons

I haven't taken the time to learn about all of the features available so can't say much. However the only thing I would say is the interface does appear a little confusing sometimes, particularly when I'm looking at reports for particular clients. Sometimes I have reports saying projects have billable hours and others don't and I don't really know what I've done to enable this. Maybe that's why I haven't dug deeper as of yet.

I used this as a free product for several years. That is something that makes possible for contractors like me. However, last year they ran a good deal and I decided the product was worth paying for. It would be good if there was a tiered pricing system so that sole contractors purchase the product for much less than a larger company that uses all the features.

Pros

As a sole-proprietor contractor who has a fixed fee per job rather than per hour, I do not use a tenth of the capability of this product. However, part of my license requirements is to keep a log of my time by assignment. This product makes that easy. I can set up multiple projects with multiple clients in just a few minutes. And managing my time recording for multiple projects a day is simple. I'd also like to commend this product for continuous advancements in capability and ease of use.

Cons

There are a few things that I either don't understand or don't work exactly like I think they will. For example, I would like my preplanned task list to show up in a specific order when I set up a new project, but I couldn't figure out how to get them in the order I wanted them. I should just contact \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], because the few times I've needed help she has always managed to get me sorted out.

...has a track, is traceable, even the tiny bits and pieces that where lost before. Just because it is so easy and fast to understand and use. Besides the fact that it has "added" to our billable hours it improved and sped up our invoicing as well. Less time is used for administrative, non billable hours!

Pros

...is in its place and intuitively at hand when needed. New members to the team know how to use MyHours within minutes!

Cons

...is there but a Gantt, maybe that could be added at some point (although it is not the core functionality). It is just the one and only thing that is missing for all our project work and management.

Pros

I've been using MyHours for several years now (initially free but now paid). I've gone through various UI and feature updates but it has remained a robust, intuitive, and very useful tool. I love the reporting features the most as they give me the overview I need to accurately bill my clients. The customer support is also very strong.

Cons

Nothing really. I've even had my feature requests implemented by the team simply by asking!

Pros

Overall, this was the best tool for me to track time and definitely recommend.

Pros

I began using MyHours in 2019 when our subsidiary began managing more clients, and we had to record our time. That subsidiary was eventually dissolved but I still use MyHours to track my time. Their customer support helped me figure out how to change the default view for the detailed report (to view the month at a glance).

Cons

It looks outdated and is a bit clunky/not super user friendly.

I use MyHours every day. It keeps me sane. It stops we overworking or underworking. It also gives me the power to assess individual areas of my business, life, and projects so I can fine tune and not live in la la land when it comes to understanding how long creative projects (and non-creative for that matter) actually take. Critical when it comes to pricing projects and determining the right fee level.

Pros

You can copy from the previous week so you don't have to rebuild your timesheet. You can see your whole week spread of projects, tasks, and time and edit the whole lot with an overview of everything.

Because I work from home, I could not keep track of how much time I was actually putting in on the job. With constant interruptions from children, pets, and spouse, I felt that I was working 8 hours, but I was only getting about 2 hours work done. With this program, I was able to give my family a visual report about how much time I was actually getting to work at one time. Once they understood how their interruptions were interfering with my workday, they were more understanding of my time and started backing off during work hours.

Pros

I can track according to client, project, and task. I can create reports based on days, weeks, or months or based on client, project, or task. If I need a report that I cannot figure out how to create, I can download all the data to my hard drive and fiddle with it in Excel. I love this software because I can do almost everything I need to do with a keyboard shortcut. My favorite thing, though, is the ease with which it tracks my hours and lets me know how much time I spent actually working today.

Cons

Some of the reports are difficult to figure out how to create, though I do usually get there eventually. Also, I don't have a way to sort according to the Notes, so I had to create separate tasks for each chapter, so I'd know how much time I was spending on specific chapters.

A couple of years ago, I needed a time tracking software. was by far the easiest to use and with the most amount of features, especially when using the free version. For freelance workers like me, My Hours make it really simple to keep track of how much work you've done, for which clients, and for which projects. It's also super easy to bill your clients when you have a thorough description of what you've done, how long it took you, etc.—something My Hours really helps you do easily.

Cons

I think once or twice in two years, I've experienced server instability and lost a few hours of tracking.

I wish I could customize the invoices and add branding to them so they were more personalized to my brand. I have actually considered leaving myhours for other programs that allow me to do that because branding is a huge part of my business.

I am happy I went with after spending a lot of time reviewing other small business accounting software/online services, nothing gave me the flexibility and control I wished for -- then I stumbled upon My Hours after a lot of frustration with others My Hours fits my needs better than anything else I have come across.

Pros

I like the activity review - you can see any aspect of a project and spot any missing elements. It's easy to customize reports. It enables clients and myself to see the big picture of where things are at (costs). I prefer to generate my own invoices manually since they need to be customized to the job and client. So allows me to see scope of a project and what needs to be billed etc. at any time.

Cons

A little difficult to customize, and some aspects need more flexibility. I tend to have to repeat some things often...

Our old time recording system ceased to be supported so we had to find a new one. We looked at lots of alternatives and ran a new one for almost a year but it was dreadful. Lots of systems want to manage your whole practice rather than just log time so finding was a real relief. We run it alongside Xero and our CRM both of which we didn’t want to change. Apart from niggles as above this has been a great system for us.

Pros

It’s great to be able to log time as you work, whether in the office or in the move. I’m sure being easy to do so means we capture more chargeable hours than we did using our old (very annoying) system.

Cons

Overall this is a great product but I have a few niggles which I hope might get sorted out. I don’t like that time is logged to the second rather than whole minutes or nearest 5 minutes - it makes us look money grabbing. Not being able to set up a new chargeable project without having to go into a more detailed screen is annoying and no longer having a link back to the time record from a time report is slowing us down. I don’t like the time report layout as you have to look for the client name and project name - our old original system included a header with this detail which made for better client presentation.

Reason for choosing My Hours

Ease of time entry; stopwatch based; easy to see unbilled time; easy to start work on a new project (although we do have a niggle here), good value, Cloud based, free trial so you can have a taste of what you’re getting.0

My overall experience with has been quite good. I have been able to now measure how long I take to do particular types of design projects and general tasks, towards improving my work efficiency.

Pros

The ability to just simply start the timer without needing to fill in any task details until when I am able to do so. The ability to start multiple tasks and edit the details/time of the tasks even manually as I go. I also enjoy the offline app integration that helps me to continue to track my time even when not connected to the internet for syncing when connected. I have also found the "Copy to today" feature quite handy.

Cons

I have still not yet figured out how the 'tasks' work. I often find I can't repeat a task name for different projects. I can rather say, I have only managed a makeshift working knowledge of how to organise projects and tasks however I do not think I am using the features effectively. I also wish the option to export the dashboard summary and data visualisation was available, or I could at least figure it out if it is there. I end up just saving a pdf of the dashboard through the Chrome print/save pdf feature.

Reason for choosing My Hours

It was ' free individual plan that allows me to track my time as I work, a feature not available on the free version of Wrike. Having used My Hours for some months, I then registered and tried Wrike for a couple of hours when I was having difficulty with setting up my tasks and projects on My Hours (I had used Wrike Premium at a previous digital ad agency job and so knew its project setup and task management capabilities), only to find at a later point after setting up some projects and tasks that the timer feature was not available for me to use.

I love this product and have been using MyHours for years. I Have a number of clients and Myhours helps me manage all the projects and tasks that I do for them in a simple way

Cons

I would like the option to put a monthly cap on a client project. E.g Some clients I only do 8 hours a month others I might be contracted to do 40 hours. I would like to be able to put that info in and then get some sort of notification if I was about to reach my limit for that client so that I could advise them.
