I have been very happy since purchasing this product and the amount I've saved in ensuring proper billing has more than covered the cost of purchasing My Hours. Pros Tracking time is an ongoing struggle for our company as we do billable hours and need to track everything, down to the minute. My Hours allows us to quickly and easily enter our projects and tasks on the go, save our all worked hours, set if it's billable, and report on all tasks on a daily, monthly, and weekly basis. Having the ability to track by the minute has ensured that we do not lose out on any possible billings. Cons The only feature I wish it had was that we could track multiple tasks at a time per user. We often run an update for a client that runs in the background as we work on other tasks. Having this feature would save us time in having to duplicate our own tracking. Review Source TS Timo S. July 27, 2022 5.0 I use My Hours daily and it helped me a lot to gauge time spent on different projects. It helped me a lot to identify projects that are not profitable. You can easily spend too much time on some projects and My Hours showed me when this happens. It is also ideal to keep track of billable hours for consulting work and I sent My Hours reports to customers to show how time was spent. Pros Having an online time tracking solution helps a lot. Then I know my time tracking is always accessible. My Hours has a very user-friendly interface and provides concepts of tasks and projects. Reporting is very useful and comprehensive. Creating reports for a duration of several years also doesn't take and the interface is very responsive. Cons I am not sure if there is anything I dislike. Review Source MP Melanie P. Free version is awesome" July 27, 2022 4.0 Very useful with extra features; showing percentages of where I spend time, tracking expenses like mileage. Meets all my main goals Pros The free version first, but I like how you can create categories then make notes specifically for the time you spent as well as add expenses. It's also very helpful to report out to my board where I'm spending my time and I can put it into a pie chart with percentages, which is so helpful when sending this data to our bookkeepers. Cons Having to use the ":" when entering hours and the terms used aren't intuitive, like I always fumble around trying to pick the right report I want or to set up new categories. I'm now considering to upgrade my free plan so I can utilise the time budget feature. Pros There is so much value in the Free plan. It's easy to use, and I like the layout. Cons I would love a desktop app for Mac please. Sometimes I forget to stop the timer on the browser. I'm afraid I don't like using the app on my phone as I find my phone distracting when I'm at work so rather not have to touch the phone. Simple to use, delivers what it offers. The freemium is great and for many more than enough. Also good to organise yoour time and keep track of what you've been doing during the week. Good to follow up with the customers and say this is what's been done this week/month. Pros The fact that you can create customers, activities and tags that then you can easily filter on the analytics works very well for me. Also the Week view where you can see all the activities and also the stopwatch option to track activities on the go. Cons Haven't found one yet to be honest. Some times when starting a new week in the view week, I have to reorganise all the activities from previous weeks (I can copy them but then cannot modify without modifying the previous weeks). The issues were due to user error in my end. This is such a vital part of my business and I really appreciate that you can use many free features and add on as needed. Would recommend! Pros I’ve been using My Hours for several years now, at previous firms and now for my own practice. It’s a very easy to use and customizable interface. It makes daily task logging a breeze. Cons There are a lot of premium features that as a sole business owner I do not need. My Hours works perfectly for my current needs. I'm recommend it to our new freelancers all the time to track their hours and give them quick tours. Pros The software is so easy to use and is visually easy to read and isn't over built to overcomplicate things. I'm able to enter my time quickly and run reports and be in and out of the software in no time to make my life easier. Cons There could be a lot of improvement around the favorites. I would like to see filters, be able to reorder them to something other than when entered, and be able to edit with out deleting and re-creating. Having a synch with calendars for easier meeting time tracking would be amazing as well. Reason for choosing My Hours I looked at and tried several different softwares when picking out a time tracker and MyHours was by far the easiest to use and had the most capabilities in the free version and pricing is very reasonable for upgrading to paid. Being able to create separate projects and associate them with particular clients helps me quote for future work more effectively and ensure I'm invoicing the correct amount on project completion. Being able to separate specific tasks is also helpful. As a video editor it's very easy to lose track of time on projects, so I wouldn't be without this software moving forward. Cons I haven't taken the time to learn about all of the features available so can't say much. However the only thing I would say is the interface does appear a little confusing sometimes, particularly when I'm looking at reports for particular clients. Sometimes I have reports saying projects have billable hours and others don't and I don't really know what I've done to enable this. Maybe that's why I haven't dug deeper as of yet. Competing products that I looked at were extremely bloated with inadequate task and project management. The interface is clean and functional and not weighted down with features I would never use. It is difficult to find a site (app?) for a given purpose that hasn't tried to be everything to everybody. My Hours has focused their attention on time logging and has done it extremely well (at least for my particular use case). Pros Time logging itself is extremely easy to use and the interface suits the way I want to use it well. Support is excellent and they always address my questions and suggestions in a very timely fashion. Their focus is on time logging and the service is not cluttered with features I will never use. Cons My work is predominately freelance. I get paid through quite a few different channels and frequently have to log my time again in other systems. My Hours is a little too designed towards being the inclusive source for invoicing. Generating reports of all time worked for a given client so that I can provide an activity report is a bit cumbersome and unfortunately, I do not completely trust their accuracy as filter options often reset themselves and there were issues early on when certain activity was excluded without it being clear that it was. February 10, 2022 5.0 ...has a track, is traceable, even the tiny bits and pieces that where lost before. Just because it is so easy and fast to understand and use. Besides the fact that it has "added" to our billable hours it improved and sped up our invoicing as well. Less time is used for administrative, non billable hours! Pros ...is in its place and intuitively at hand when needed. New members to the team know how to use MyHours within minutes! Cons ...is there but a Gantt, maybe that could be added at some point (although it is not the core functionality). Pros I began using MyHours in 2019 when our subsidiary began managing more clients, and we had to record our time. That subsidiary was eventually dissolved but I still use MyHours to track my time. Their customer support helped me figure out how to change the default view for the detailed report (to view the month at a glance). Cons It looks outdated and is a bit clunky/not super user friendly. Pros The reports are super easy to produce and are professional enough to share with clients. I love the way I can swap between clients, projects and tasks. My Hours was by far the easiest to use and with the most amount of features, especially when using the free version. For freelance workers like me, My Hours make it really simple to keep track of how much work you've done, for which clients, and for which projects. It's also super easy to bill your clients when you have a thorough description of what you've done, how long it took you, etc.—something My Hours really helps you do easily. Pros I like the activity review - you can see any aspect of a project and spot any missing elements. It's easy to customize reports. It enables clients and myself to see the big picture of where things are at (costs). I prefer to generate my own invoices manually since they need to be customized to the job and client. So My Hours allows me to see scope of a project and what needs to be billed etc. at any time. Cons A little difficult to customize, and some aspects need more flexibility. I tend to have to repeat some things often... Pros I've used the free version to track my hours for four years and have found it very helpful. I can easily split my time among various tasks - and then bill appropriately. The interface is self explanatory. Sometimes I start the clock to record in real time. Sometimes I go back and enter past work. I run a report at the end of the week and download my hours to send to my respective employers. It's all very easy to operate. Cons I haven't found a way to reallocate past time by combining tasks. September 11, 2019 4.0 My overall experience with My Hours has been quite good. I have been able to now measure how long I take to do particular types of design projects and general tasks, towards improving my work efficiency. Pros The ability to just simply start the timer without needing to fill in any task details until when I am able to do so. The ability to start multiple tasks and edit the details/time of the tasks even manually as I go. I also enjoy the offline app integration that helps me to continue to track my time even when not connected to the internet for syncing when connected. I have also found the "Copy to today" feature quite handy. Cons I have still not yet figured out how the 'tasks' work. I often find I can't repeat a task name for different projects. I can rather say, I have only managed a makeshift working knowledge of how to organise projects and tasks however I do not think I am using the features effectively. I also wish the option to export the dashboard summary and data visualisation was available, or I could at least figure it out if it is there. I end up just saving a pdf of the dashboard through the Chrome print/save pdf feature. Reason for choosing My Hours It was My Hours' free individual plan that allows me to track my time as I work, a feature not available on the free version of Wrike. Having used My Hours for some months, I then registered and tried Wrike for a couple of hours when I was having difficulty with setting up my tasks and projects on My Hours (I had used Wrike Premium at a previous digital ad agency job and so knew its project setup and task management capabilities), only to find at a later point after setting up some projects and tasks that the timer feature was not available for me to use.
