Tracking details of how my wife and I spend our time is a need, and I hadn’t found anything that could do it easily. In searching more carefully, I happened upon , which does just about everything I was looking for, plus a lot more. I actually began using it at work, as it’s a better test of the ease of use. I keep My Hours open in a tab on my iPad web browser, and just update my activities as they change. Super easy, and helps me stay accurate. Pros The free version does exactly what I need it to - allows me to easily track my own hours, anytime, on any device. Cloud/web-based, so there’s no need for lengthy or involved installs. Plus, it allows the developers to update the application when they see fit. Cons Tough to answer. There’s nothing I really dislike about it. I suppose it would be nice to start off with a specific template for each day. I think my choices are “Blank” or “Start by duplicating the most recent day”. This is not a complaint. My guess is, that feature is available in some way that I’ve chosen not to take advantage of (pay for). But really, no issues. Review Source KO Karachi O. Most of my issues with MyHours have been when introducing the software to employees. Perhaps include a tutorial for those who are new. Pros It alerts you if you hours are still running and you can download the hours in different formats. I also like that you can start and end hours on the mobile app, as well as edit hours. Cons Sometimes when emailing hours reports, the email does not send. Also, when inputting tasks, you can't select the same task under different project titles. The download reports button should say "download". When introducing the software to new employees, there are always issues on downloading hours reports. As a freelancer who often work according to hours, keying of hours spent on a project or task is made easier by . Best of all, the activity reports provided are very detailed - with columns for client/project/task/rate/time spent etc-and have summations as well, which allowed for easy reference and accounting for the administrators in the companies I work for. I also like the "clean" layout of the site. Cons The need to set up "new tasks" for every new project when I may have already listed them down for past projects. But that's a very minor snag. It's also hard to find specific date ranges for when there actually was time recorded. Exported excel/csv files don't have the date ranges "clamped" to when there was actually time recorded. It's intuitive, easy-to-use, and highly customizable. For personal use I can track simple goals, and for business I can track multiple clients, projects, and tasks. Cons I'm a visual person, more color choices for visual assistance could be helpful. Therefore, it saves us time giving the precise and precious information we need. And, furthermore, it helps me to organize and present the projects and tasks, so nicely!, that my clients are impressed. I am Spanish and my Spanish clients do not complain it is in English! It is so good that the language is not really the most important. Incredible! Pros software is very easy to use. Pros The fact that it's free to use for a start-up company that doesn't need it often (we only bill hourly on a couple of clients). Also the start and stop and report features are helpful once you figure them out. Cons The hierarchy of projects, jobs, etc. can be a little confusing, but it's not that bad once you use it a couple of times.
