It's helped me be more accountable and better organized. Pros I love how it keeps me organized and allows me to quickly & simply track by client and project. Don't know what I would do without it! And the free version is fully robust for those just starting out! Pros I love the reporting features. As a freelancer, being able to filter out specific clients/projects really helps me be accurate in my billing. Cons As a freelancer who works with multiple agencies, I would love to be able to assign a Client to an "Agency" or "Client Group". Pros Tracking time is one of the most tedious tasks as a consultant. However using My hours it has been easy to track my time, manage budget and allocate my time evenly for the different projects I am normally working on. Front-end web developer Internet Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "My Hours as a freelancer" July 15, 2019 5.0 As title suggests, I am freelancer, more specifically - I am a front-end web developer. I've been using my hours for 4 months and it has never failed me. Pros Ease of use and stability. UI is simple and looks nice, which helps greatly in navigation. From the very start of my experience, I already felt familiar with the interface and could navigate with no obstacles whatsoever. Stability was another thing that I was pleased by. Despite me having to work up to 12 hours straight, My Hours would never stop calculating my profit :3 Cons Although I mentioned great and simple UI, I had some hard time finding settings to set up billable hours. It is easy to see at the end of each day, on a task or project basis. I love the layout! Cons What I like least is that there isn't shortcuts to add a project or task when entering time. Pros It's simplified my client time tracking and invoicing. I like that I can break down by client, project, and specific task descriptions. It makes it so simple to pull a report and see where the time is going, or quickly total hours for invoicing. Cons There's more possible than I'm using. I wanted an easy cost effective way of tracking my hours with the ability to provide my accounts a record of my hours if necessary. Pros Easy to use Can be used anywhere Convenient Cons Cost Prohibitive for adding my contract employee. They ended up just doing their own account.
