Virtual PA Executive Office Used the software for: 2+ years ### "Tracks time and saves time" July 30, 2021 5.0 For years I used to track my time for multiple clients on a daily paper chart which had to be calculated weekly. It was crazy. I then used the free version of MyHours very successfully and later upgraded so that I could produce invoices. I am very pleased that I made these decisions. Pros Easy to start, stop and resume time tracking, to compare profitability of client work across different projects, and to produce and track invoices. The customer support is outstanding. Cons Nothing! I don't have a lot of time to spend on investigating the system, however, so if there were an introductory email which gave a list and description of all the features, I could then check out the tutorials to learn the aspects which would be most useful to me. It provides a simple, easy to set up Client/Project, Task drop down menu and a log description area that allows quick description entry or file drop to help keep organized. There is also an area on the same page to enter expenses so it is all right there. Cons I find generating reports in general is fairly easy. Generating a report that includes only the information I want in a printable form (without the graphs) challenging. I appreciate the effort that the team has made to offer a product that has all the necessary basic features in the free version but also what look like very useful options for a small fee. Pros Contemporary UI, simple to use, more than I need in the free version, nice additional features in the paid version. My best feature is the favorites, easy to set up, they cut the tracking effort required by half. Cons I have no complaints about this product. It meets all my needs and even looks good! I haven't had one complaint! The administrator features are flexible and easy to use. Over all a very positive experience with this product and I can certainly recommend it as a cost-effective product for time-tracking. Pros time-tracking software provides everything we need as a small business both for our payroll time-tracking and for customer billing. We've been using it for several years now without any problems. The customer support is great and any questions are answered by return email within 24 hours. The My Hours team are always listening to customer feedback and improving the product. It's great value for money. Cons When I'm running the Activity feature, I'd like to be able to expand the width of the columns but this can be done when exported to Excel format so it's not a big deal. Also, the time format of the Activity feature is only available in hours & minutes unless you export to Excel (as 'export' not 'report') where it appears in both hours & minutes and decimal format. Pros How easy it is to use. I'm a graphic designer who works for an agency as well as for myself, and has really helped me keep track of the time I give to tasks. My clients also really appreciate that I give them a breakdown of how much time I gave to their jobs and in what areas I focused my time. Cons Not so much a con, but it would be great if I could somehow set up the way in which exports EXCEL sheets, with regards to what information is displayed in what order and under what heading. A sort of 'custom export option' if you will, so that it exports them in my desired format and layout with the click of a button. How much $ have I made this year? Which project has dominated my schedule this month? It's fun (and useful) to see this data. I'm also very impressed with ' customer service. They always respond promptly and politely. In the very few times I've reached out regarding a bug, they've provided a workaround, and then fixed the problem immediately. These are REAL people, developing GOOD software! Pros The interface is intuitive. When I first started using 3 years ago, my hopes weren't high because it was so inexpensive. But it does everything I need it to do, and in such a way that I'm not constantly googling "how to" questions or contacting customer support. Cons I would love if software this simple could replace quickbooks. Also the ability to choose specific tasks within a project is useful. I like the reporting too - it gives an analysis on your spent time. Cons There are some things that can be improved. I forgot to turn off the timer once and I was not sure how to deduct the hours I was not doing anything. So, it would be nice if there was an option to remove hours or the timer stops when there inactivity or something. HIGHLY SUGGEST: it would be awesome to have a browser extension for MyHours to start the tracking timer. Makes it so much faster to start tracking - less friction. Review Source KH Klaus H. I know there are a bunch of features I'm not using such as reports, etc but they are there if you need them. Pros My company uses a very expensive software called Ajera to keep track of our time cards, project billing, etc. I prefer this web-based hours tracker and I love being able to just hit the start to create new time for a new task. I can't get my company to make this mandatory and I absolutely guarantee I have the most accurate time card in the company; I fill out 2 weeks of Ajera time cards in 5 minutes using MyHours. We have people who go thru their emails from weeks ago trying to help them fill out their time card, how accurate can that actually be? Cons I was a little hesitant at first because the country this software originated from may be a country with higher cybercrime activity.
