Senior SEM Manager Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Strong at Launch, Less Flexible as Workflows Evolve" November 4, 2026 4.0 Kissflow gave us a solid tool for translating loosely defined agency ideas into organized, accountable processes. It was particularly effective for orchestrating our concurrent landing-page evaluations and bringing greater structure to the way we surfaced creative & ad copy KPI signals. The experience became a little less positive once those projects went past the launch phase, since updating the underlying fields and calculations often made substantial rework necessary. Overall, Kissflow was a solid launchpad for workflow automation, but it became less supportive during the ongoing refinement and optimizations that agency work naturally comes with. Pros Kissflow helped us impose a useful structure on agency workflows that up until that point depended on manual work and coordination. One project routed new landing pages through parallel reviews based on different target personas, allowing multiple perspectives to be evaluated within the same process. We also applied Kissflow to a redesigned creative asset matrix intended to make copy and visual performance trends easier to identify. Automated routing reduced follow-up work and made bottlenecks more visible. Its greatest strength was process orchestration rather than the underlying KPI analysis itself. Cons The biggest limitation was not related to the creation of workflows but how rigid Kissflow became once a workflow was already live. Both our landing-page review process and asset matrix evolved as we learned which target persona and KPI signals were most useful, but revising fields or logic post-launch more than once required restarting the process. The form builder also became difficult to deal with when we needed more complex calculations for the aforementioned KPI analysis of our creative assets. To summarize: Kissflow was better at assisting with the creation of a net-new process than supporting the work and adjustments that needed to happen post-launch. Very pleased with how Kissflow has been able to replaced an ancient internally developed system. Easy to use and AMAZING customer support and service. Pros KissFlow was something we considered and implemented to handle a rather complex workflow related to capital purchases. I want to state that the customer service from this team was outstanding. They went out of their way to ensure we were able to see everything we wanted in a test environment. The workflow was really everything we needed and provided amazing personalization and flexibility. Cons Kissflow ended up being a bit more expensive than we'd have hoped for. Additionally, we found the reporting features to be a bit less, but we were provided the opportunity to create some customized reports. Pros Kissflow is a great BPM tool for citizen developers. Its drag and drop functionalities helped me a lot with business workflows since I wasn't really experienced with coding. Then they made a new version and "migrated" us..." April 23, 2021 2.0 Seriously regretting spending the investment in this system. Unfortunately we are now stuck with it while I plan an exit strategy. At least with their new pricing model the other options are actually now quite competitive. Do yourself a favor and go with something more established with long term stability. Pros It was a great tool. We built our entire set of business process controls using it. There was a steep learning curve and a few limitations that we had to work round but over all it worked. Cons We came to rely on this software and then were forced to move to the new version. Massive price increase. Migration was a disaster. The process was slapped together and not a single workflow actually worked afterwards. It has taken me a month of painstakingly testing every field and formula and fixing almost every single one to get it working again. I have ended up fixing almost everything myself as the "migration specialist" seems to think that the way to fix an error in a workflow is to simply delete the formula causing it... no more errors. no more actions either. The software have transformed our working way and as well as saved us lots of paperwork. Pros The software allows to notify and process the work in progress in a paperless way. The decision making process is transferred automatically among positions in the decision flow. This have saved a lot time on our daily work. The comments and problems are also storage on cloud, which can be extracted at any time and from any where to solve the issues in a quicker way. Cons The software flow is sometimes rigid to overpass decision steps, which requires involvement from system manager. This led to some delays in decision making progress.
