Pros This software is cool because it provides an environment like an office available to work-from-home users. Helps employees stay focused and connected. Cons This software could definitely be improved, but every time there is a bug, their development team is knowledgeable and helpful in getting it resolved. Pros I've had to contact customer service a few times and they have exceeded my expectations. I've been able to reach someone every time with a little wait time and they are always so personable. We saw the power of Worldview Learning's discovery platform almost immediately. Like most companies of our size, we were already using training software to deliver knowledge-based and compliance based training to our general staff and technical teams. What we saw in the discovery platform was something much more engaging whilst still keeping the compliance tracking functionality we needed for our training records. What caught our attention most of all was the ability for us to update the hotspots in the 3D environment with our latest sustainability information and case studies on the fly without the need for costly reworks. This means we now have a bespoke energy training platform for each employee at a push of a button. Cons There wasn't anything we didn't like, it was web-based so our field team could access it as well as our office-based employees. We are always looking for new ways to engage people so when Worldview Learning demonstrated their discovery platform we quickly realized its potential to help us to deliver sustainability messages and promote positive behavioral change. Worldview Learning worked hard to fully understand our aims and tailored their discovery platform to meet our requirements. The result was a 3D virtualization of our offices where users could navigate to areas most important to us and explore energy, sustainability, and carbon-based information. In addition to the energy awareness eLearning, quizzes and information hotspots they also included easy to understand near real-time energy data on a floor by floor basis that can be fed back to the users. Our initial aim is to bring this information to our staff through a touchscreen kiosk installed in a breakout area. I'm really excited about the potential of the discovery platform and hope to see it deployed more widely as part of Sky's ongoing sustainability engagement campaigns particularly as we continue to redevelop our headquarters campus in West London. Throughout the project, the Worldview Learning team was proactive and showed terrific flexibility and professionalism. I have little doubt that we will see many other companies employ the discovery platform in their own sustainability campaigns. Cons The main challenge wasn't the 'discover' platform or Worldview, but our own ability to adopt new technologies to change the way we work. This took some time and is still ongoing.
