Horrible I do not recommend using them if you need to ensure tax compliance. Moves very slow and most people stay siloed vs help you.

Pros

\[sensitive content hidden\] was helpful in payroll. He seemed the most empathetic out of the media of individuals we came across during our turbulent times.

Cons

I’m not able to find anything I like. It’s been six weeks and we haven’t been able to pay the \[sensitive content hidden\] because they don’t understand how to fix an issue they created with S Corp. tax benefits. I feel like we’ve had to describe tax code and everyone is so stuck in their silo. No one would track down the actual issue until about week four. I’m the COO and I haven’t gotten paid in a month.

Strong starters, weak finishers. During the onboarding process with them, it was obvious that some of their 'onboarding team' were either rookies at their jobs, or just didn't understand what their jobs were. We're still dealing with payroll tax issues that they created during the onboarding process- and they're blaming Gusto- and Gusto is blaming GoCo. When seeking support online their responses are usually a link to a page on their help site. They seem to get more responsive as their renewal comes up, and all of a sudden they want our feedback. Most of the people we've talked to within the organization don't find solutions, just offer lip service.

Pros

We liked the ability to streamline our onboarding process. Different tasks can be assigned to different individuals, and deadlines could be set. The onboarding process is about the only pro that I can think of.

Cons

Their support is close to non-existent. I have never been able to connect to a live person on the phone. We have had numerous issues related to payroll, scheduling and a myriad of other problems, and they are always days away from a response.

Pros

Automated onboarding gets new employees moving fast, and payroll flows are adaptable, so time tracking, benefits, and documents are all in one place.

Cons

Learning curve bites while creating data maps and workflows for enhanced reports, whereas bug fixes require careful follow-up.

GoCo has basic functionalities for small businesses looking for an HRIS. They were able to help us organize our employee database when we did not previously have one.

Cons

GoCo has promised features that were never delivered, or were delivered much later than promised. We also did not have the support we were looking for through implementation.

Adding an editing forms for on boarding staff just employees in general to fill out was a hassle very complicated in the individual field that they require required you to add to your PDF in order to make it affordable form was overly

Our overall experience with Go Co has been a good one and we are happy we made the decision to purchase the software.

Pros

It was easy to install and implement. There wasn't much of a learning curve because it is a pretty intuitive software

Cons

It is a little bit on the expensive side. However, we were able to justify the cost because it does simplify the onboarding process.

I like the value for your money.The scheduling and time clock and the payroll, it all gives a good learning curve.The security as great as well

Cons

Sometimes, the onboarding can be a little bit confusing, but in the end it helps the employee.There are some bugs and issues that need to be worked out

They are an affordable option for employee onboarding, benefit administration and record keeping.

Cons

When I personally first started working with GoCo (April 2023), our support team was great! My company has been with GoCo for a very long time, but I had never personally used GoCo previously. We had a very knowledgeable main point of contact, but sadly for us, they were promoted. We've had multiple support team members since that seem to be lacking in knowledge of the system and it's capabilities. I've even received drastically wrong information about the billing of our account as well. We've just started with yet another representative, so hopefully this one will be better. For example, we made a change request at our monthly check-in meeting. When we followed up at our next meeting, we found out that nothing had changed because a ticket needs to be submitted, and that they would be do that now. So, our request sat for 30 days because they did not submit a ticket when we requested a change. Another example is when I was making a change to our 401k plan's eligibility requirements. Before completing the change I had multiple meetings with GoCo to iron out the details on how our notifications would look going forward, what our responsibilities were as far as providing a monthly list of eligible participants to have notified, etc. One week before the change took place, we were informed that all of our plans would not work that way and we had to postpone our 401k plan change for another month while GoCo scrambled to come up with another solution.

### "GoCo"

Overall, our company really enjoys GoCo. They have a great response rate for support, and are always ready to jump into action to fix any issues. There are some things I hope to see improve in the future, and I try to participate in their quarterly meetings when they announce changes and look for feedback. They seem to listen to what their clients want, and I know we appreciate it here in our clinic.

Pros

The flexibility and customizable nature of GoCo is nice to have for our company. It was one of the primary things that attracted us to GoCo.

Cons

Some of the systems don't flow well together. I love the Spaces implementation, but it doesn't allow us to have a Performance-related space set up for our lead team to easily access or review performance flows that have been completed. Additionally, there is a struggle on our team for them to grasp how to use workflows. Most has ironed out over time, but it is still difficult for many to comprehend and use effectively.

Overall we've had a great experience with GoCo. There were some rocky moments but the team at GoCo has helped us get through and now it's a system that is really interwoven in our daily operations.

Pros

GoCo has enabled our company to completely automate processes such as onboarding and performance management. The ability to build workflows keeps us organized and ensures that no task falls through the cracks. Further, the documents feature with electronic signatures makes rolling out new incentive plans, handbooks, and other policies seamless! We've also gotten a lot of assistance from our client services team who meet with us whenever we need assistance. Having a dedicated success team that we can speak to live makes all the difference.

Cons

While the workflows are great and really a unique feature of GoCo, there is a learning curve involved because customers need to build the workflows themselves. Once we got the hang of it, it was definitely easier and our account management team did hold our hands quite a bit!There were also some features that were missing e.g., the ability to duplicate documents and workflows, but GoCo has continued to upgrade the platform and has added this functionality!

Fantastic. Seriously, I can't say enough good things about them. I'm excited to see how this company progresses.

Pros

Super easy to use. No more staff griping. I don't have to have a full time administrator. GoCo.io has assembled one of the most responsive an knowledgable teams I have ever dealt with. I was sold on this when I was told they looked at HRIS like a game, it should be something people can figure out. My staff has done just that, and they able to poke through parts and do what they need to do with limited input. Their mobile interface is just like the desktop version. The staff is responsive, the implementation manager was superb! It's weird as an HR manager to be excited about software, but going to GoCo after our last experience was like dealing with a broken down high end sports car that looks nice in the garage, but doesn't go anywhere, to a super reliable truck that just gets the job done.

Cons

It's a newer company, and it has less modules an options, it's what I refer to as "vanilla with sprinkles." That being said, when I set out to select a software, I aimed to get one that had what I needed, and I didn't focus on any nice-to-haves. I don't even miss all the other stuff I used to have, because this delivers on what I need in a fantastic way.

AWFUL! No respect for those who lie is business and in life. We all work hard and most do their best to deliver what they promise. GoCo has delivered none of what they promised in our sales demos. We've tried to cancel our contract for failure to deliver services offered, but they continue to auto debit our CC on file. I normally would not take the time to write a review on a product like this, but hopefully I can save another CEO / company from making the same mistake of signing on with a completely dishonest company that cannot deliver what they promise. <----- Please check their other negative reviews.

Pros

I typically leave positive reviews for products because as a CEO I know the challenges faced with tyring to please everyone with a single product. That said, GoCo is has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. When a relationship begins with misleading statements and lies regarding capabilities, then there is no recourse.

Cons

Sales rep completely misled our entire team. No integration capability with any of our systems. Very dishonest sales practices. Absolutely would stay away from this product as there are reputable and functional alternatives available. We have not been able to use the product at all. Their implementaiton team finally admitted that they could not integrate with our systems after the purchase was made.

Because they lied to us and promised things that they were ultimately unable to deliver.

### "GoCo - Your HR - Payroll Solutions"

Communication between GoCo and myself improved on the Payroll Sync side. Any questions that may have arose were communicated immediately. I retired from the secondary company so I handed off those task to a new firm.

Pros

Easy to log in to clock in and clock out, look up PTO available and what is scheduled. I also perform a payroll sync Bi-Weekly which is fairly simple.

Cons

Used GoCo for a a secondary company that I was working for. Paid GoCo for a payroll sync service with a separate payroll provider service. The Payroll Sync service is being performed manually by GoCo and is not an automated between the two providers. There were issues at the beginning where sync's were not accurate or marked as being sync'd and they weren't. I tried to verify the sync's before running payroll, but the whole purpose of paying someone to do it is so you don't have to. Some issues were a breakdown in communication, some were changes to policy that needed to be updated on the initial questionnaire, other issues not so sure. Be aware that even though GoCo offers the payroll sync service it may not be automated and they manually enter the sync information.

We currently meet with our GoCo representative once a month to 'check-in', and have done so since we switched to GoCo years ago. This says ALOT! They want feedback on the good, the bad, and the challenging, and they ALWAYS act on it. If I have a question that I send to our representative, I have no doubt that I will get a response within an hour. I've said this before, and I'll say it again, it's so nice to work with company that aligns with our core values. They are definitely a great team that Gives Customers What They Want and Builds Something Special every step of the way!

Pros

I use GoCo mainly when I need to update our Team Members' profile to make them eligible for benefits within our Company. GoCo makes offering our Team Members benefits and enrolling them into our plans so much easier! During open enrollment, not only am I sending our eligible Team Members emails to remind them to enroll in our benefits, but GoCo is also sending them multiple emails so they don't miss their opportunity to take advantage of their potential benefits. It's so refreshing to get rid of all the paperwork and complete everything electronically flawlessly.

Cons

Our company structure is set up a little differently than most. We have multiple companies under one umbrella company. This makes it a tad bit challenging for GoCo to be able to structure the profile setup, necessary documents, and permissions, but they have turned this into an opportunity to make updates and create additional features.

Pros

It is a fairly intuitive software that is easy to learn. Very affordable and has a lot of features that other platforms nickel and dime you on. The support team is extremely responsive and you know that issues are not just going in the queue.

Cons

Some features still need work such at the PTO/Vacation and the Timesheet functionality. Background checks are not built-in as a feature of the tool and you can connect with a partner it is still one more relationship for me to manage. Same for some of the benefits. The reporting still needs some tweaking but most needed reports are there or can very easily be built in just moments.

### "Good Tool, Great People"

We started using GoCo when we joined OneDigital. It's been a great partnership for us. I appreciate that GoCo includes support and not just a platform.

Pros

GoCo is a light weight HRIS platform that has a nice set of features that are perfect for our size of company (less than 35.) Benefits and open enrollment are much easier than the previous paper approach. And Goco sends the reminders, not us! Same thing with time off management and approvals. 95% of staff use it consistently and appropriately. Onboarding new hires is much easier when they can review material and benefits prior to day one. Best of all, though, are the people. Responsive and pleasant.

Cons

I'd like to see more change control features that include explanations for why we are making a change. Did I change vacation because--someone made a mistake or because we gave someone a vacation day for performance reasons?

Coco allows us to monitor and track our employees time throughout the day and hold them accountable. It allows us to manage overtime and have prompt conversations with employees about low/high hours.

Pros

Real time tracking and accountability for employees and leader ship. Allows leader ship to also monitor time off requests and balances.

We are a fairly new user, and at this time, I do not have any concerns about the product or its functionality.

Pros

It's extremely easy to handle every I need to accomplish in terms of tracking and managing my employees. Everything from payroll, to time off, and really ant facet of employment can be easily accessed and quickly handled

Cons

There isn't anything! I have not had any kind of issues in all the years I've used it. Their customer service is fantastic if I ever have questions or need help.

It helps cut down on time spend on-boarding people. It makes it easy to send forms company wide for signature.

Pros

The on boarding is it streamlined. No more copying and having to check every sheet of paper if signed or acknowledged.

Cons

Wish all documents could be started by employees themselves all the time without have to go those the workflow. I would like to be able to have my documents in customized folders.

Cons

GoCo is not as agile with changes to the program. We could use a two-part approval process for time track and that is not available at this time.
