Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Clarcity streamlined the purchasing process for my schools." March 6, 2017 5.0 I have been using Clarcity for about 6 months now. At first I was a little skeptical about the process. Now I would not want to be without Clarcity. I am a bookkeeper for 4 elementary schools. All of my staff uses Clarcity for their credit card transactions and reimbursements. Shared staff uses the mileage feature as well. Now that everyone is on the system, processing payments to vendors and staff has become so much easier. I also like that as an administrator I can go back and find a charge for anyone to see what budget account was used. This is huge when trying to forecast budget balances during interim check runs and year end spend down. I would recommend Clarcity to anyone with more that 10 staff to track. Clarcity is definitely a time-saver. Pros I like the multiple functions and the ability to track expenditures. Cons Some of my staff struggled with how to use Clarcity. December 20, 2017 2.0 The benefits I get from Clarcity is easily uploading receipts to expense reports, and being able to use the app for expense reports when I'm away from the office. Pros The thing I like most about Clarcity is that there's an option to use an app, which I've found much easier to use than the web version. I like that I can take a picture of a receipt and instantly upload it to my Clarcity receipt profile for later use. Cons The thing I dislike about Clarcity is that there are so many steps involved in submitting an expense report, ie: you have to n ame the report, select a location, select a description, assign an account number. And then when you go to approve an expense report, there are several steps as well. It takes me a long time to do just about anything in Clarcity. Review Source GM Glen M. Easily adopted and implemented. My favorite feature has been the Mobile App and the ability to take a snapshot of any expenses Pros Mobile App and photo capture and upload. Users can use their mobile device or their computer to enter their expenses, take pictures of receipts and add them. Expenses can be assigned a reviewer who can then review the expenses and approve them. If the expense is questionable, the reviewer can also push it back to the user to correct it before approving it. May 8, 2017 4.0 Allows me to turn in all reports that I am required to turn in on a weekly basis. Pros It's functionality. It's fairly easy to navigate through the system. For the most part it is self explanatory. Cons Not able to access it away from work. February 27, 2017 3.0 I work for the transportation department at a local school district and we have just started using this system to report our activity trips and meal reimbursements. Overall it works great. I am able to enter all of my data and I get paid in a timely manner for my reimbursements. The only negative is that there sure are a bunch of steps and buttons to press going through the process. Our secretary had to print up an 18 step instruction page to help our employees to enter all of their data for one meal reimbursement at a time. Without that instruction page, I would be confused as to what to do! Maybe you could simplify the process for the average person by allowing all of the information to be filled out in 1 or 2 windows. At first it was hard for my staff to navigate. Now that everyone is on board it has made my job of reviewing travel reimbursement and school purchases so much easier. I would recommend Clarcity to anyone who have more than 10 employees. Used the software for: ### "Great Value and Just Works" March 27, 2017 4.0 I use this multiple times per month to process company card transactions as well as to approve employee expense reports. In each situation, Clarcity does what I expect. The Android app is easy and quick enough to use. The itemization of expenses can be a bit lengthy within the site. That could use some user friendly magic dust. Other than that, it's a great value for the cost as compared to ADP and other counterparts. Pros Simple interface, decent mobile app Cons Expense itemization, PDFs sometimes don't load and must be re-uploaded. While it isn't as easy to use as our old software, I know it is much more affordable. Plus, unlike other flight booking services, Clarcity now includes Southwest Airlines rates! An added bonus for a user who exclusively travels Southwest. Pros I like that you can search, book and confirm travel and hotels within the software. Cons Filing all of your travel expenses can be cumbersome, but the app allows you to take pictures of your receipts and upload them directly to your Clarcity account. Review Source DH David H. Used the software for: ### "Clarcity is clunky" January 20, 2017 2.0 I have been using CLarcity for approximately 4 months, and I have found it to be extremely "clunky" and user un-friendly. Oftentimes I search for hotels and flights, and the prices are much higher than using a traditional internet search engine (like Google Flights, Travelocity, etc). I have also run into issues where Clarcity cannot "find" the hotel I'm looking for, even if I type in specifics like the address and name of the hotel. Used the software for: ### "Great Value and Constantly Improving" April 25, 2017 4.0 I use Clarcity mutliple times per month as well once at the end of the month to submit a monthly credit card expense report. I'm able to do exactly what I need every time. Itemization can be a challenge but I suppose that would be with any expense system. Overall, I recommended it for the value. Previously, we used Concur. In my opinion Clarcity has made doing my expense report easier. I also find the mileage calculator quite easy to navigate. Overall the best experience I have had so far is actually speaking to a customer Service representative.
