We prepare 1,000 hot meals for free and we deliver 200-400 meals using this system which takes what used to be days-long process and gets it done in minutes. Pros Customer Service is amazing—got a person on the phone in seconds and they were easy to work with and went above and beyond expectations and even hopes! Cons Software of this type is hard to navigate if it’s new to you. I could find what I wanted to do well enough, but the learning curve is not easy. Thankfully, the company knows this and offers training and support. Cons I do not like that I can not transport colors to the app and I can not get the stops bulk completed for the driving portion of my team. Fleet Coordinator Education Management Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Technical support and customer follow through terrible" April 6, 2019 2.0 Create routes to pickup our students from home and deliver them to school in the morning. Was hoping to cut route times, pickup more students at their homes, and reduce bus operating costs. Then in the afternoon take the students back home. I was never able to complete this task with the software, as it appeared some of the features of the software once enabled did not function. Mainly no U Turns allowed. the routing continued to plan and optimize a route showing the our 40 foot school buses making U turns on narrow two lane country roads, with place to turn around. It did the same U turn in our city areas as well. Where the city streets were did not have turn arounds, and could not be pulled into residential driveways. I feel the software MIGHT have been able to work for us, but the follow through of their technical department was so poor, I was unable to get their assistance during a demo of the product, to ask questions or learn the features of the product. I spent over 30 hours of my time working with the trial on my own, trying to get far enough that with their assistance I would have a working solution to my routing challenges. It seems to be a complete waste of time. Pros Looked like good value, and ease of use. Cons Technical support. Some features could not be made to work. Was promosed a demo period during my free trial, to help set up our routes, and understand the features of the software. To insure that I was able to be up and running before the end of my 7 day free trial. I was promised the demo daily, and it never happened. I actually had three appointments for the demo. The first was never confirmed. The second didn't happen until after the trial was over, and they forgot to extend the trial first, so it was delayed while the extended the trial. The third was then rescheduled, and the team never called. Not to start the demo, not to cancell or reshedule the demo again. They did not call at all. Now 2 days later, they have still not called. The only thing that worked real well, was there auto response email, and a daily auto email with ideas on why their software was helping so many companies. Review Source MM Mike M. The customer service representative was very helpful! Pros The app is easy to use. The interface is not complicated at all, once I learned how to use it. I like that I can upload a Excel file with a list of addresses into a route and the app optimizes the route for me, saving on drive time. I am able to accomplish more in a day from the time I save on driving. Customer Service was also very helpful in pointing me in the right direction on getting started. Using it is easy and there lots of tutorials if needed. Helps a lot with organizing my delivery's no need to think about how to do the routes the site just takes over and makes it the most efficient route. The Web support is outstanding I have never had any other web support be so fast with helping resolve an issue and making it so user friendly to figure out on how to fix it. I upload 100 some stops for 1 day give the site 6 drivers and 10hours per driver route4me takes that information and throws it out there on a map and gives me the best directions, and time it's a great site. Pros I love how easy it is to use this app, not to mention the onsite web support that gets to you very fast and helps answer any and all questions are even willing to call your drivers to walk them through any issues they may have on the mobile app. Cons the only downside I have for this is it being updated quite often. but i get it things need to get upgraded but then you have to re-learn where things are on the site but like any other software it needs to be done. There software is very versatile for multiple industries. Pros Route4Me allows for multiple parameters to be accounted for that I haven't found in other softwares including things like hours of service, weight, etc. Cons The cost has increased a lot over our subscription, and the value overall for us has decreased due to this. The sales team has not allowed as much flexibility to work with us as they have in the past. Our routing process that involves thousands of deliveries and used to take us months to organize now is handled in a matter of hours -- reducing our costs and allowing us to dedicate our limited resources to buying food and other necessities. Their support team has been outstanding - incredibly responsive even at 3 in the morning. Our requirements are different than many of their customers, but they have always been willing to make adjustments to ensure that the job gets done. Just can't say enough positive about this company, as they have been an incredible partner in helping to feed our community. Cons I really cannot identify any concerns or limitations. Functional, Intuitive, Reliable, User-Friendly, and Stellar Support Staff!!!" February 24, 2026 5.0 I have used Route4Me and have had only positive experiences. One important call-out I would make is that, I also provide support for telematics platforms that are not affiliated with R4M, but that allow integration via an API- The only instance that I have encountered where an issue was experienced with the integration of R4M it was discovered that the issue did not originate from R4M(it rested with the other party). Despite this, I partnered with Route4Me's support team to address the issue and was able to get the problem resolved rapidly for my customer. The Route4Me technical specialist was very helpful and effective in collaborating with me to uncover the quickest path to resolving the issue at hand. AWESOME work! Pros The software is intuitive and easy to use. The layout is clean and clear with a user interface that has everything that is relevant and important, but is not at all cluttered. It is very convenient that the platform can be utilized standalone via the web UI, but it is even more convenient that it has the flexibility to integrate with my existing telematics/fleet management platform. Cons Nothing to report- it does everything that was claimed prior to onboarding, it functions well, and does even more than expected in some aspects. This provied a way for us to manage that. Now we also are able to add people who don't have transportation to come to the food bank. Pros The ease of route building and changing an existing one either adding or cutting stops. How easy it is to train mobile users. We use spreadsheets so its very easy to build routes. The Mobile App & Desktop program are great. The chat support is so quick to respond and answer my sometimes dumb questions. You can input addresses or store numbers. I sale to the WALMART chain and never had an issues on use or directions. Keeps me informed of accidents, tools and speed traps. It's quick to navigate and communicate. The functionalities are in accordance with the structure and requirements of the work. We use chatters to help communicate within the group. We also identify and divide client's cases and submissions. This enables us to deliver better reporting . The syncing with third-party applications is very useful. Our phone system maintains track of all incoming and outgoing calls. And we are able to transfer chat conversations into specific files. Cons It can be difficult to find good support because it is so complicated. If you want to use Salesforce Service Cloud, finding good support who knows what they're doing in the initial setup is probably the most important challenge you'll face. Find a Salesforce Accredited Partner to maximise the chances of having good support. Using the different Salesforce Tools available to you will also assist you in implementing Salesforce. Pros Ease of creating new maps from imported addresses. The flexibility of modifying routes easily by importing new addresses and inserting them into existing routes with drag and drop technology. Critical to our operation is the ability to export mapping results from Roue4Me to be imported into our database and be integrated with our delivery lists. Route4Me does this easily. Cons Our drivers are all volunteers so we do not use all of the powerful Smartphone navigation available from Route4Me so we rely upon printed maps and driving directions. I find the quality of the printed maps lacking due to the density of our 12 routes, making 15 to 25 stops per route over quite compact local routes in the city.
