So much easier having all the people information, events, forms, groups, donations, & accounting in one place. We have used them since May 2022. Pros Donations and Accounting are integrated. No exporting from contributions rearranging data and importing into accounting. Forms are easy to use and some of the fields will add/count in the summary section. Has a printable directory for the folks that like a printed directory. Groups are easy to manage. Each group has their own calendar. Can easily email all members of the group. Service Planning has categories and a multi-grid for easy assigning of volunteers. Automation is wonderful for membership process and visitor process etc. Reports and be auto sent via the query function. The serving area is where the congregation can sign up to serve areas that are needed. Usually have answers to questions in the chat (customer support) in 15-30 minutes during business hours. Merchant account (USIO) does not charge a percent + thirty cents per transaction. Just a percentage. There is a box to allow the giver to cover the fees. We are not large enough to use the facilities scheduling, but it's there if we need it. Cons Because it has so much available it takes a bit to learn. We have older saints that have needed some training, and don't see it as very intuitive. But there is a lot of availability with the software so it takes some time to learn when you haven't worked with computer software. Would love an integration with Ministry Safe. There is so much more that I need to learn to be able to get more out of it as a pastor. The training they offer when you first sign up is a great help. Pros This church management software is easy to set up and there are helpful training videos to help you along the way. I love how you can track people's engagement with the church to be able to plan for better corporate discipleship. Cons I wish that they would add voice messaging to their communication module. Some of the older members do not text, email, or know what a push notification is. If there was a voice message option, we would be able to drop that service we are currently paying for and be able to afford the higher level of service. It is light years better than our previous system. Pros We have come to love the customizability of the software. We can get to some intricate details when it comes to reports and automations. Connections is one of my favorite features. It allows me to customize the type of information we make about an individual and connect them with the appropriate ministry head. Cons With the customizability comes a good bit of time and work. The staff person tasked with our transition and construction of automations, forms, and reports had to go through some intricate steps to ensure the right information was being recorded and disseminated. We no longer have to have seperate software for scheduling events, recording data, etc. I love that everything is one place. Also, I can't emphasize enough how fantastic customer support is. Pros Customer support is incredible. They will work with you to make features more intuitive and they respond immediately. Cons There are some little quirks here and there that can be unfriendly to a user but the developer is always improving features. Our congregation is about 88% retirees and seniors and they have had a generally open response for using the platform. That has been the most rewarding that it has enough simplicity for them to not feel extremely disinterested in using it. Pros It's a huge step up from the decentralized way we were handling church groups, events, and contributions. Having these all in one place has taken a deep burden off our accounting staff as well as our volunteer group leaders. Cons The software works well even with some navigational aspects being a bit out of place. I am a huge software person so been on a lot of platforms. One Church's functionalities are great. I would just love to see more data sharing across modules to make the experience more seamless and the navigation to become more simple. Review Source SD Scott D. Our staff picked it up quickly and our congregation has loved having the mobile app. Pros Ease of use - first system we've had where everyone will use it. Much less expensive than other systems we've had but with the same functionality. Support has been excellent and timely. Cons Nothing really. We are happy with the system. I suppose some people would like to customize more but that isn't an issue for us. We had Elexio Community for about 10 years prior to getting One Church, and One Church has exceeded our expectations greatly. Pros One Church is very user-friendly, and the tech support is great! The customer service personnel assigned to our church have been extremely helpful and timely in their responses to our questions and requests. Cons We run multiple systems within our different ministries at the church, but would prefer having one system that does most everything we need. Pastor Used the software for: 3-5 years ### "One Church - Ideal Church Management for Small and Medium Churches" October 21, 2024 5.0 After extensive research and trialing multiple systems, my church selected One Church as our new church management system. Working with the team at One Church has been phenomenal since day one: all questions are answered quickly, the demo was comprehensive, the data migration process was seamless, feature requests are taken seriously, small issues we've encountered and reported are fixed extremely quickly, and troubleshooting issues (usually user/admin caused, not system!) has been simple and fast. We've used One Church for approximately three years now and we have never regretted our decision. Pros Comprehensive church management system, excellent mobile app, detailed user/admin permissions, great integration between the mobile app and the browser, amazingly responsive customer support. Cons The worship planning feature hasn't reached the industry standard set by Planning Center yet. It would also be great if the volunteer/serving module was geared toward volunteers for things other than just worship services (ex. Youth Group events, holiday events, etc.). Review Source PSUMC T. Treasurer Used the software for: Less than 1 year ### "Totally Integrated Solution" June 24, 2021 5.0 I am very happy with our choice of One Church, and as time goes by we will make use of more of its rich set of features. Pros One Church is fully integrated. People profiles are linked to contributions, and batches are easily posted to the accounting module. Daily online donation batches automatically appear in contributions once processed by the bank. And then you just post them! Other manual entry of expenses and deposits is easy. So being treasurer is now very little work. Financial reporting too is good. The giving/contribution statements are handsome and nicely display one's pledge progress. And... the statements can be generated by the person themselves! Congregants can log into the system from a computer or the basic "My One Church App" (or a more expensive customized app). They then can update their own contact information and have access to their giving history, their group involvement, and can register for events and such. They can set up their own recurring online giving. They can enter their own pledge. Donations and pledges can be defined to be reported on as an individual or combined as a family. Defining user permissions is robust, so different groups of people can have rights to different areas of the software. Like counters can do data entry of contribution batches, but not have rights to post or see other financial information. Finally, I have to say that support is phenomenal. There is an online chat feature where questions are answered almost immediately. And many suggestions I have made have already been implemented. The One Church people are very responsive. Cons Nothing major; wish the menu wasn't so long... would prefer to enter just an amount and not need to always type in cents. Having to re-open a batch to make any changes in accounting. This software makes it easy for our congregants to get information and pay for services/donations to the church. Pros Our favorite features are an easy to use system that our congregants can use for accepting donations to the church. We also really enjoy the ability to creat event pages the spread information to our congregation. The system is very easy to learn and easy to teach to older congregants who may struggle with technology. Cons We do not understand why the software should require an additional fee for the ability to customize the mobile app. We have not utilized this feature because of budget reasons and would really like this feature to be included in the product as standard, not an additional tier fee. The majority of congregants primarily use their phones to do anything with the church, and though the basic app has it's benefits, we dont' know what we are missing out on because we are stuck behind a pay wall our board will not agree to proceed with. Our primary concern was efficient and reliable Accounting and One Church delivers that and much more. This product is very user friendly and the help chat feature is perfect for all the little questions that crop up. The help team always responds quickly. One Church really shines in its clean and easy to navigate user interface. The Contacts, Contributions, Forms, and Automation modules are very useful. We also utilize the Event Calendar, Mobile App, and Donation Processing as features to benefit our church congregation. We also use the Sermons module as a plug-in for our church's website. Our integration experience was seamless with the One Church staff handled our onboarding. Also, they have extensive training/help articles and videos to assist you with any new feature you want to tackle. Pros We love the wide array of features that allow us to consolidate many of our needs into one place (giving, attendance, communication, forms, registration, etc...), rather than having multiple software programs. Cons Just like anything else, there is a learning curve. But the amazing customer service is definitely helping us navigate this as we go. Cons There is no one thing that I dislike about the product. I use it specifically for online donations. Questions are answered right away, bugs are fixed immediately, explanation of updates/changes are sent via email so we are aware before church on Sunday. Cons The only thing that I would improve would be the ability for drop-down menus to work using keyboard entry, so that I wouldn't have to use a mouse at all during data entry. Pros The fast Customer service! You can have the best system in the world, but if you don't have someone available to help you when you need it, then it's no good. Within a few minutes, I will receive a response and love how rep works with you to add new features or creates solutions. I find it very user friendly, and easy to move from screen to screen. Reporting is done in seconds instead of minutes. Cons I think the way businesses are treated with contributions. I feel any contributor person or business, should be treated the same and not separated.
