It's a great app with easy UI to use. The system is on 24/24. The small disadvantage is Slack integration, which takes a long time to load. I really enjoy using it. Pros The system works well. Easy to use UI. Cons Integration with Slack still takes a long time to load. You can even set it to post for you. Pros Mention Software is easy to use and navigate around and costumed to show only what you want to see. Plus the daily emails make sure you dont miss any information you are interested in catching. Cons The trail version only lets you connect to one social media channel two or more channels would give you better feel for the software. April 11, 2016 5.0 Love how this app gives me the possibility of multichannel publishing on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn. I can't wait for them to put some sort of Instagram API and then my social media activities will be complete and much easier :) You can see by my rating that I'm very, very satisfied with what I'm getting with the freemium (4 months so far). Would recommend to anyone in the social media/content marketing niche. Pros \- Multichannel publishing - Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn - Ability to schedule multiple times during the day and week for publishing - Easy multimedia adding and link tracking (Google Analytics) - Reposting is as easy as it can get Cons \- No Instagram - (very few) bugs while trying to repost - shows two buffer links and neither leads where it should, sometimes the attached image disappears - it rarely happens, but still - Pablo resizing didn't really work for my use but that doesn't mean it's in any way bad Review Source Crystal I. The reason? We jumped onboard a CMS that tracks our mentions for us. When we were using Mention, it was simple, though. Did what it was supposed to do. Cons Considering we started using Mention early on in our company, there wasn't a lot of activity on our account because, well, we hadn't even made any social media accounts yet. Some features are better, some are worse. The price, however, is too expensive for a small family business like ours. We'll go for a competitor because we have a better deal and won't compromise so much on the quality of outputs. Mention is hitting the mark across the board. With desktop and mobile, I can find and manage all of my brand comments, mentions, tags, news and hashtags in one place with minimal fuss and in real time -- what more could you want. If you need to know when and where people are talking about you or your brand ... make sure you give mention a go. Pros easy to use and simple to navigate, with desktop and mobile. It usually catches 98% of the mentiones of our brand on the web and I use for media monitoring. It's very helpful in making me put together a list of media mentions and getting me to notice even the brand mentions on websites that I couldn't catch otherwise. Easy to use and the emails remind me to check out new mentions. Pros The fact that I can find out if Vertical IQ has been mentioned in media. The Mention emails remind me to check for new mentions. Cons I like the Mention and have no real compliant. Every now and then I get confused on which link to click to see the article/mention but it's minor. I want to spend more time with the app to see what else it can do for me and for my clients. Pros I found it very easy to use, and do quick searches for immediate and snapshot updates on my clients' social mentions. Cons I would love expanded aspects of mentions and social exposure of my clients' brands. Some of this might be up to me to get some additional training on the tool. Reason for choosing Mention Like I said, Mention is only one of the tools I use, but I did switch off Zoomph as Mention had more channel access (actual mention across channels).
