I liked how I could review each session and send to my calendar which ones I wanted to be in. Pros Easy way to set up which events I would like to attend at the NLEC. Easy way to connect with other people I know from my NLEAB Board, MICH consultants and MTC members. Cons I thought it was very helpful, but I didn't know the more we utilize the app we could score points. That should be more advertise so we can all know about it. Trying to meet all the vendors to get points was exciting. Pros It provided updates and allowed me to check into the sessions I chose for the day, it allowed me to change my selection. Cons Ice breakers - I didn't see much of that on the app. or in the main conference meeting room. Ice breakers are great when you are among huge groups of people that way you meeting new individuals connecting. It seemed a little spammy at times with the notifications, but that is as much the fault of the conference organizers. I did not explore whether there was a way to limit notifications without turning them off completely. If that feature exists, I like it even more. Pros Easy to use. Has all the features I would want. I've used several event management apps for different conferences, and Whova was the most complete without being too junked up. Cons Would like better control of the flow and pace of notifications. I would sometimes select a notification, and it would take me to a general notification area in the app instead of to the specific notification. The picture gallery is wonderful too. Pros I like being able to get in touch with other conference attendees before and after the conference and being able to answer and respond to icebreaker questions leading up to the event. Cons I don't love the number of notifications. There is often a lot going on during the conference so having so many is often distracting. I failed horribly at the trivia, but it was nice to know that I could win prizes by engaging. Pros It is easy to navigate. There were a lot of tips that helped me get the best out of the experience. I knew where to be and what was at stake at all times. Cons It just took me a little bit to get used to the new app. However, once I got the hang of everything, it was amazing. Pros The speakers were unbelievable. the topics discussed were very intentional and discussed such important topics and educated and very important information. Cons Not enough time to be a part of all the breakouts. too many good topics not enough time to be a part of them all. Pros The planning of conférences, the linked scientific papers, and the possibilité to build our own porgramm and sessions. Cons The social media, to share the impression of the congress, the notifications for the beggining of the sessions was not useful.
