Great! I enjoyed the interactive setup of this app. You have milestones to reach to earn points, which prompts you to get connected and enagaged.

Pros

Event Management, reminders, security, easy to use, and overall great to keep everything in one location.

Cons

Sometimes you would be prompted that there were new items, and there were none, such as messages, and community messages.

Excellent and fluid support giving adequate information that would be frequently be needed by multinational delegates during the conference proceedings.

Pros

Very simple to use and easily navigable when one wants to look for certain information. The App makes the management of the event much easier for the coordinators and also relieves the stress of trying to locate the information desks for the participants. This essentially made the entire Conference a very user-friendly environment that gave good value for money following payment of conference fees. The App essentially serves as the best member of the organising team for purposes of customer support and ensuring that the customers or conference delegates can focus on the proceedings without the usual attendant logistical challenges relating to movements around the venue.

Cons

The interface of the venue maps was not as helpful as expected. More effective mapping tied to live tracking is necessary so that it can effectively guide a person to a location and spot that they may wish to get to without looking for a physical escort to lead the way, given the usual schedules of international conferences..

Positive - I would recommend using it again despite my preference for paper schedules I see the benefits and also earth friendly benefits of Whova

I did enjoy the application, and it stands a good chance to reach out the whole global community for such events and even becoming another powerful social media.

Pros

1\. Reaching out to people who registered and attended the event 2. notices and announcement of event activities 3. emailing system

Cons

there were some confusions on participants who registered but did not attend the events. This has to be improved in the near future

Overall, my experience with Whova was positive. The platform made it easy to access event information, manage my schedule, and stay informed about updates throughout the event. I appreciated having session details, resources, and networking opportunities all in one place. While there were a few minor challenges with navigation and notifications, the app helped create an organized and engaging event experience

Effective networking features that helped connect attendees, speakers, and exhibitors. Real-time updates and notifications kept me informed about schedule changes and important announcements. Interactive features such as polls, Q&A sessions, and discussion boards increased engagement. Ability to personalize my agenda and bookmark sessions of interest. Centralized location for event materials, presentations, and resources.

Cons

Some features can be difficult to find, especially for first-time users. Frequent notifications can become overwhelming. Occasional technical issues, such as slow loading times or app glitches. I found Whova a little confusing and expensive. I personally didn’t need everything that the Whova app offered.

Pros

Whova is convenient and organized platform which makes school professional development events easy to schedule.

Cons

Whova has many notifications and added features which I found overwhelming at first. With some practice, Whova can be a great management app.

Organizers of an event should rely on the platform and should not go into side communications. So, for example, while WHOVA has most of the features and capabilities, I have observed event participants sharing resources with other platforms. This means the Whova events don't provide all the necessary resources in one place. Maybe integration with potential other platforms should be considered.

Pros

Whova is very interactive, organized, and easy to use. It helps speakers put all necessary resources in one place.

Cons

I have been informed very late about using Whova for the event. I think it should be arranged as early as possible because speakers have everything they need in the same place, and it would help them prepare. Whova should be part of the preparation for an event. When creating a poll, I was forced to create one by one. I am not sure if that is how the respondents saw it, but I would prefer is I could design the poll form at once with a preview capability.

It was great! Looking forward to new events. I liked the experience. I would love to be connected and attend new exciting events.

Pros

Getting to talk to and connect with the professionals in my field. That was really helpful. I was able to select my agenda that matched my preferences

Cons

Nothing Yet! First time tried it. Liked it. Will try to attend other events and based on that will share if there are any things I least like.

Pros

Everything was very accessible and intuitive. It was easy to find what I needed, and the layout made navigation straightforward and efficient. I especially appreciated how clearly the information was organized, which minimized confusion and saved time. The app’s clean design and responsive features made it simple to move between sections without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, the user-friendly interface made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable

Cons

It would be helpful to include an interactive onboarding or guided tour feature for new users. A brief walkthrough that highlights key sections and explains how to navigate the app would make the experience even more intuitive. This type of feature could help users quickly understand where to find important tools and resources, especially during their first time using the app.

Overall, I have enjoyed my experience with Whova and I wish more large conferences would migrate over. Last year, I sent in a suggestion to the NCJSA-North Carolina Juvenile Services Association-that they take a look at Whova and see where it might help them. That's also an annual, and fairly large, conference I enjoy. I have no way of knowing if they did. I really like all the app opportunities for networking, that it doesn't always happen personally, but still feels personal and like a real connection. Thank you!

Pros

I really liked the way it set up and managed the conference. I hadn't used it since last year, but it didn't take long to remember the ease of navigation between everything this conference does; so easy to get right back into it.

Cons

The thing I liked the least about Whova is that some of the titles of the different activities seemed to be two different words for the same thing: I would get quite confused with what the difference was in the following: Icebreakers (I think the questions were fixed to only 4-thought I'd be creating my own), then Polls: I went there and was able to create my own, but I thought I wasn't doing polls, just entering a question where I'd seen more Qs on the app. So, possibly I created a Survey rather than a Poll! I just checked surveys and it took me to Session feedback instead?
