Pros Very simple to use and easily navigable when one wants to look for certain information. The App makes the management of the event much easier for the coordinators and also relieves the stress of trying to locate the information desks for the participants. This essentially made the entire Conference a very user-friendly environment that gave good value for money following payment of conference fees. The App essentially serves as the best member of the organising team for purposes of customer support and ensuring that the customers or conference delegates can focus on the proceedings without the usual attendant logistical challenges relating to movements around the venue. Cons The interface of the venue maps was not as helpful as expected. More effective mapping tied to live tracking is necessary so that it can effectively guide a person to a location and spot that they may wish to get to without looking for a physical escort to lead the way, given the usual schedules of international conferences.. I personally didn’t need everything that the Whova app offered. Pros Whova is convenient and organized platform which makes school professional development events easy to schedule. Cons Whova has many notifications and added features which I found overwhelming at first. So, for example, while WHOVA has most of the features and capabilities, I have observed event participants sharing resources with other platforms. This means the Whova events don't provide all the necessary resources in one place. Maybe integration with potential other platforms should be considered. Pros Whova is very interactive, organized, and easy to use. It helps speakers put all necessary resources in one place. Cons I have been informed very late about using Whova for the event. I think it should be arranged as early as possible because speakers have everything they need in the same place, and it would help them prepare. Whova should be part of the preparation for an event. When creating a poll, I was forced to create one by one. I am not sure if that is how the respondents saw it, but I would prefer is I could design the poll form at once with a preview capability.
