I have mixed feelings about this app.

Pros

eDirectory simplifies the process of building a comprehensive directory platform by providing all the necessary features and functionalities. It's a feature-rich platform that enables users to create membership websites for various niches, including directories and classifieds without requiring any coding knowledge.

Cons

Compared to other online directory solutions, eDirectory is relatively expensive. Additionally, the platform's user interface customization capabilities are limited and not very impressive.

Pros

Usei o eDirectory por uns quase 3 anos como diretório de tatuadores e realmente trata-se de um projeto excelente, de uma empresa bem consolidada. O edirectory tem muitas funcionalidades e utilidades no software e nos recursos adicionais, como seus aplicativos para iOS e Android. Estou pensando seriamente e voltar a utilizar.

Cons

O que menos me agradou na época em que usei era as dificuldades para fazer implementações e customizações visuais, o que parece que já foi resolvido nas novas versões.

Run as far as possible if you need any assistance for the product, aka you cannot fix their bugs for them.

Pros

1\. Built-in mobile apps builder. 2. Seemingly complete suite of features.\* 3. Powerful search engine. \*Most features look useful until you realise they are half-baked.

Cons

1\. Incredibly unresponsive support that takes a day to WEEKS to reply, if they even bother to. Even when they do reply, the problem often requires dozens of correspondence before we get anywhere. Yes, that means weeks to months of communication without solving anything. 2. Insane amount of bugs and they take forever to fix. 3. Updates happen once every forever. 4. Insanely expensive for extremely poor experience. 5. Require root access and taxes server resources.

I would not waste time or money with this shady company! Very disgusted with the outcome and waste of time and resources.

Pros

There is nothing that I like about this product

Cons

The customer support is lacking-almost non existent. They did not provide any fixes and when we had to reach out to the salesman, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\], to get any follow up. The program is broke in several ways and if you can't fix it you have wasted your money. The simplest things like the search feature doesn't even work! When we finally had enough and requested a refund they denied it and also admitted in an email that the reason they have lacking support is due to COVID, but sorry tough luck!

At first during the sales presentation by \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] it was exciting, however we quickly learned that once the received payment the support was terrible. They just wouldn't resolve basic issues that we were sold such as the search function not working like we needed it to and setting up payments is still a struggle. We decided since we are 3 months in without a working product we are cancelling service, and of course now they are stalling and saying "I had to send the request to Upper Management" and that was a week ago. Funny thing is, "upper management" was included on the cancel emails with their \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\]

Pros

What we were sold would have been nice if it actually worked and we received any timely support which we did not.

Cons

Support. We would wait weeks to get a response from their support team. Setting up taking payments were problematic and the Search Function was not and still doesn't work 3 months into this after paying for the product in full.

If I could give them zero starts I would and next steps for me is to file with better business bureau and I am filing a complaint against the company for fraud. I will do whatever I can to fight this ridiculous company and I will use all my social media influencers to also let the world know the scam they run. If they had any business acumen and any type of integrity they would have zero problem issuing a refund for a product that doesn’t work. However, when you scam people the only thing you can do is hold their money because you know they won’t come back.

Pros

What I like about this software is they have a very flashy and fake website that leads you to believe you can obtain an affordable directory solution.

Cons

The company is a complete scam and they don’t offer refunds unless you cancel within 48 hours. This is impossible to determine if their product works or not and they scam you by thinking to can use it for multiple purposes. When you try to get a refund they push you to several different “phony” employees and pretend they care, but give you a million reasons they can’t offer a refund. They don’t stand behind anything instead they offer you solutions to pay even more money to allow them to help you use their worthless software.

Because my lead designer thought it was good, but he quickly realized once we tried it on our server it is GARBAGE.

I have had an excellent experience so far. \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] and the Tech Support team have been really great. Using the tool itself is an overall a very good experience.

Pros

eDirectory had all the key things I was looking for. Core feature set we need. Ease of use. The page and listing template editors are especially nice. The customer service has been exceptional. They attended to every need promptly and friendly. There were a few things that we needed urgently and they are able to do that with customizations at a reasonable cost.

Cons

Still has some development needed on the back end user features. Needs some more editable pages and widgets in their customization tools. Still was way ahead of the competitors we reviewed.

Giant waste of time. I would say look elsewhere. Unfortunately there aren't many options for this type of product so good luck.

Pros

What worked was fine. The UI is clearly outdated and some of the admin tools appear to be from the 1990s, but aside from the obvious aging, most of it still works.

Cons

There are many bugs and breaks in the platform. Charts in the client portal are broken and clearly aren't used by anyone. On the surface everything seems okay, but once you start digging in you find completely missing sections, images not showing up, inconsistent fonts, etc. And good luck trying to style things yourself. The CSS Editor literally looks like it's from maybe 1998. They don't include template classes for the pages so you can't fix the mistakes that are built into the platform yourself even if you are a developer. This is likely intentional. Once you get invested like I did you really don't to abandon all the work you did so they hope you buy the broken product and scram at this point. Customer service is fast, but the developers aren't very savvy. On one bug I was asked a bunch of irrelevant questions and then they asked me what version of MacOS I'm using, which obviously had nothing to do with the bug. They were likely trying to find a reason to ignore the bug report. I opened up my Windows machine and bamn the bug was right there. So the operating system had nothing to do with it or not. It's hard to tell whether they're just not good, or they're unethical. One of the two.
