Pros We loved how Finale was able to sync between all of our ecommerce platforms, including shipstation. We also loved the bill of materials kitting which allowed us to keep track of grouped products. Cons The software is very technical, built for companies with complex SKU's and warehousing needs. Not only does it connect and track all of our inventory on multiple platforms, we are able to run the reports needed to understand our business more than we have in the past. Cons The usability took a little getting used to, while the UX can be a little tough to understand, especially if you are looking at new features you haven't used before. After about 3 months on the platform, you get used to the areas you need and can run reports with ease. Finale's ability to manage and track each component individually as well as when complete kits are sold is very advantageous for our business. As well, the ability to synchronize inventory and transactions through our multiple sales channels allows us to rely on Finale as our single inventory management system. This also causes inventory to over sell which caused a big headache because now I have to contact the customer to cancel the order which they are not always happy about. Since using this program our inventory has been easier to track, and ordering has become simpler. We use this inventory system to track all materials that are brought in and taken out of both of our warehouses, and notify our managers and billing personnel of materials that have been placed on job sites. Our representative has been extremely helpful in helping us learn the software and has assisted us with several trainings. Pros This inventory system is very customizable.The representatives are very helpful at customizing reports and screens to match our needs. Cons The only piece that is missing is that we could use the ability to have product kits which I believe they are working on. Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Finale Inventory was the solution to an e-commerce challenge" May 25, 2016 5.0 While launching an in-house fulfillment center for a mid-sized brand management and marketing company, I ran into a major obstacle. we were attempting to accurately debit and report sales post- shipping. A competitor of Finale, recommended by ShipStation, told me I was "using their system incorrectly" and could not offer a solution to support our simple, quick and efficient method of processing high volume orders. After speaking with several of ShipStation's recommended IMS providers, Finale was the only one who said "yes" and gave us what we needed. Set up & integration was quick and seamless and I could not be happier with the ease of use and reporting. The ongoing support I receive from the Finale team has made me a raving fan! The UI is clean and intuitive. The system is fast. It is extensive with great APIs and Reports. The customer service and support they provide is fast, kind and personal. I could not be more happy. Cons Sometimes I feel the documentation is not as clear or complete in some areas as it could be. But I send an email and get a quick response with the information I am seeking. Pros Throw into the bargain that integration with Prestashop does not work straight out of the box and that none of the support staff could be bothered and I'd find it very hard to continue with this trial.
