## What is WebRatio?

WebRatio Platform is a Low-Code development platform for building web, mobile and bpa applications. It is an Agile development tool that uses IFML (Interaction Flow Modeling Language) an OMG (Object Management Group) standard visual modeling language. The WebRatio development environment enables to develop 10x faster enterprise-class applications for business process digitalization and automation, using BPMN to define the app logic.

I have been working with the product for a few years and it has been very useful for business process design and web application development; from version 8 up to the latest versions it is also possible to create mobile applications. In short, a multipurpose product.

Pros

In our experience you can develop management applications of any complexity. Costs certainty for the Dev/Ops of applications developed with WebRatio with no restrictions on the number of pages, application complexity, type and frequency of use, et others.

Cons

IFML is not simple to learn and perhaps easier for those with academic knowledge.

Lavoriamo insieme a WebRatio da oltre 10 anni, in progetti di natura differente ma sempre orientati a creare soluzioni orientate all'integrazione spinta di processi ed all'innovazione. Abiamo sempre raggiunto gli obiettivi che ci eravamo posti, raggiuggendo risultati lusinghieri sia grazie alle potenzialità del RAD che grazie al supporto di WebRatio

Pros

Il framework di sviluppo è estremamente potente e rigoroso, sia nella modellazione dati, che nella modellazione dei processi applicativi e dei processi di system integration. Ne consgue un output perfomante ed affidabile. Il supporto fornito è sempre di alto livello. L'ultima versione evolve nella direzione della modellazione evoluta della UX

Una certa complessità nel modellare UX evolute, anche se l'ultima release evolve proprio in questa direzione

Pros

Webratio consente una grande produttività nella produzione di applicazioni, oltre ad essere un valido supporto per la prototipazione ed il confronto con gli stakeholders. Il supporto agli utenti attraverso il learning center online con molti webinar e tutorial è molto buono.

Cons

Il prodotto per essere utilizzato al meglio richiede una curva di apprendimento di un paio di mesi.

abbiamo sviluppato la nostra soluzione core tramite WebRatio convertendo la struttura di sviluppo con esperienza in sviluppi client/server win32 in un team capace di sviluppare applicazioni Web oriented in maniera efficace e con uno sforzo ridotto. Anche dal punto di vista del supporto abbiamo sempre trovato nel team WebRatio la capacità di ascoltare le nostre esigenze e di supportarci nelle necessità.

Pros

Velocità di prototipazione, facilità di realizzazione di applicazioni web senza un know how spinto di javascript - html ecc... Elevata standardizzazione del codice. Motore di processi BPM integrato che aumenta significativamente la flessibilità ed il riutilizzo del codice.

Cons

Mancanza della possibilità di rilasciare in ambienti diversi solo alcuni moduli del progetto software

Con WebRatio sono riuscito ad implementare facilmente flussi esterni ma sempre correlati al gestionale, che oltre alla funzionalità, permettono anche una facilità di vendita di nuovi progetti.

Pros

L'immediatezza dell'utlizzo della parte di interfaccia grafica. L'utilizzo di plugin e tecnologie sempre all'avanguardia. Facilità di integrazione con logiche legate al ERP.

Cons

Forse aggiorerei la compatibilità con le stampe jasper

Pros

Il fatto di raggiungere un prototipo dell'applicazione in pochissimo tempo. Potermi concentrare sulla logica dell'applicazione piuttosto che al suo sviluppo.

Con la versione 7 enterprise modificare i layout richiede diverse competenze tecniche
