Awesome Pricing! Call ChronoScan or M-Files direct and get a Demo you will be happy you did. Cons Least liked the part of ChronoScan is that no one knows who they are "YET". June 25, 2017 5.0 We have implemented this solution on multiple of our client's sites allowing full end to end automation with limited intervention required by the end user. Saved an enormous amount of man hours for our clients through the implementation of this product. Pros \- Good recognition capabilities with PDF docs (incl advanced OCR options at line detail) - Links with external databases to assist with master data authentication from ERP system - Scripting capability allows full control for enhanced validation and processing options - Fantastic support structure that responds to queries and product enhancements - Now capable of full processing of Excel documents with the capability of Defining header lines Translation of text defined fields to numeric data Extracting currency information from masked amount fields Exluding rows not applicable for processing Terminating spreadsheet processing based on user defined parameters. - Good web interface that provides full visibility of documents with filtering, sorting and the capability of defining and saving multiple layout sets - Services can be set up to fully automate the end to end process with monitoring of these through the web interface - Multiple configuration can be done in a single environment And many more Cons Some advanced features is not yet available on the web interface, but this can be done through the desktop interface. Fast reaction of the makers of the software if you should miss a feature. Cons Steep learning curve to get to know all the possible scenario's and use cases. GUI is made for technical users. It classifies all document, adds a PDF text layer and exports the documents to the DMS and ERP system. Pros Fast and flexible, you can capture all data from all types of documents. Multiple OCR engines Web based (Enterprise version) Scalable of multiple servers/instances Advanced line/table capture options Support Cons Only OCR, no ICR (yet?) VBScript functions only for advanced users Not realy a con but it's only OCR software, no workflow or archiving options (does havemany export options) Review Source MD Michel D. COO Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Support has been absolutely fantastic. Was assisted to get done exactly what I needed. " April 10, 2018 5.0 hugely reduced time in filing documents. Saved a huge amount of money by not needing a filing person. Pros Support is incredible, software works much better than expected and did not need to do any major changes to my documents. Changed some fonts as the old font was really not OCR friendly. Using it daily to file all our signed delivery notes and this has made it incredibly easy for our staff to find them and email the document to clients for any queries. Cons I wish I understood more of the features of the software, and need to find time to learn more about it as I am certain it can simplify much of our capturing in the future. June 19, 2017 4.0 Increased time efficiency Pros The program's ability to be virtually used in any application. The staff is available and can make the software work in any application; for example, the software now allows for fixed length output configurations because they listened to what I needed and pushed it out with the next update release. Thank you! Cons Visually, the program could be improved. Buttons are small and duplicate buttons are available causing overuse of space. Chronoscan can be deployed for small to large organizations. Their expertise speaks for itself in the product set. Their focus will take them far. Cons The new enterprise UI is by far one of the cleanest UIs in the capture market. I would recommend that the support for International languages can be easily configured from UI standpoint. Pros It is very helpful that we can capture data from many different formats. They layout of the windows makes it easy to navigate and allows me to work quickly with the software. " March 23, 2018 5.0 Pros I like how I can scan and organize my documents in minutes, as opposed to hours. I love how it's free for non-commercial, personal use. Allows me to be able to Scan/Index large sets of documents and to extract text from PDF Files and convert to indexed data. Cons For my purposes, this software works perfectly.
