Don't have to go from screen to screen all the time. Kind of has an excel feel to it Cons Not exactly sure if my internet connection, but seems to run a little slow when multi tasking with other applications I have pulled up. I reviewed approximately 8 products and found a wide array of capability. One the low end of the spectrum are products that are super basic with little functionality, and you will quickly outgrow them. On the other end of the spectrum are the configured/customized tools that take months and months to implement, can't be upgraded without another investment, and become a software engineering project. Why would you spend 2-6 months in a software engineering project with programmers from the vendor rather than focused on plans, impact analysis, and operational resilience with real BCM experts - doesn't make a lot of sense. If implementation, upgrades, and ease of use are important to you, avoid products like Sungard, MetricStream, Archer, and Fusion. Pros Automates all of the critical processes of BCM and DR. Easy to use and learn. Doesn't take months to implement, can be live in less than 2 weeks. Unique and effective proprietary method of calculating RTO.
