When I open an action in a new tab of the browser, I cannot acces the RID from where it originates from this new tab. Took a while to get used to it like any new systems if you havent used them and it is adaptable as our client has amended things that I cant get into and they have learned a lot too. Now we are getting to times when its not working properly. I have been using it on Internet Explorer and yesterday we couldnt access the system and our client thinks there has been an update as things have changed on his screen. I contacted the IT centre, a bit impersonal and all they suggested as to purge the Cookies, which didnt help. Ended up setting up Google Chrome, just for this system and have since been told it doesnt work properly on Internet Explorer. Well it didnt work properly on Firefox either. But we were not told there was an update or our client and now we have had to change our way of working since the update Pros It is a good system and you can adapt the screen to personalise your view. The 'Collections' are a good system , to compile all the documents into one, saves a look of hassle Cons You could do with an egg timer or something to show things are working, to show the system just hasnt stopped. Good support for a process for non-conformance management that is compliant with ECSS requirements, and capable of easy interfacing with customer instances of Eclipse. Flexibility of configuration between projects. Cons The lack of a feature to clone a template project on initial configuration, meaning that one has to repeat steps identical to those followed on previous projects.
