Not losing track of actions arising from multiple sources - document reviews, progress meetings, non-conformances, internal reviews Pros The integration and referencing between different modules, in particular so that actions arising from multiple sources are all captured in one place. Good support for a process for non-conformance management that is compliant with ECSS requirements, and capable of easy interfacing with customer instances of Eclipse. Flexibility of configuration between projects. Cons The lack of a feature to clone a template project on initial configuration, meaning that one has to repeat steps identical to those followed on previous projects. Review Source PB Phani B. I always suggest this application for any begginer to learn any programming language Pros It's a open source and user friendly ness of the application attracted me a lot. Developed a lot of java code from the eclipse suite, Also the application supports many other programming languages Cons It takes a lot of time during the application and user friendly ness increases with using the application. Pros The features of having documents, RIDs, and actions connected. Cons Sometimes it's a bit complicated to have several tabs open. Took a while to get used to it like any new systems if you havent used them and it is adaptable as our client has amended things that I cant get into and they have learned a lot too. Now we are getting to times when its not working properly. I have been using it on Internet Explorer and yesterday we couldnt access the system and our client thinks there has been an update as things have changed on his screen. I contacted the IT centre, a bit impersonal and all they suggested as to purge the Cookies, which didnt help. Ended up setting up Google Chrome, just for this system and have since been told it doesnt work properly on Internet Explorer. Well it didnt work properly on Firefox either. But we were not told there was an update or our client and now we have had to change our way of working since the update Pros It is a good system and you can adapt the screen to personalise your view. The 'Collections' are a good system , to compile all the documents into one, saves a look of hassle Cons You could do with an egg timer or something to show things are working, to show the system just hasnt stopped. Could do with a ' print screen' function, as I require individual print outs of 'Approved' documents, not just in one screen, the only way I can do this is taking a screenshot each time Review Source MF Mark F. Pros It is free and that´s a plus. It also can integrate with github to control versions. Cons There is no reporting included, alse there are varios components not included, but it´s free.
