Pros
Overall the experience with RotaReady is good. Customer service is fantastic, they reply almost straight away and find the best and quickest solutions.
I'm very happy with RotaReady - it keeps improving and the features are excellent. It really helps having everything in one place and also having less paperwork.
It's been a great asset to onboarding team members and keeping staff details and records in one place. Customer service online chat is brilliant and you get answers and support really fast.
Super friendly team to work with, initial set up incredibly easy, and once up and running support has been great and continued.
Cons
My main criticism would be that there is no way to manage the rotas from my phone without using a browser (which is cumbersome).
Some struggles with reporting on different pay cycles but an work around it.
I don't believe there is anything that I dislike or believe that are missing.
Making a change in software is always a stress, particularly when the change effects literally every member of staff.

"Time Saver"
Overall: Their customer service is very good and quick. We have started to utilise more features overtime, such as Staff Documents, Onboarding, & Asset Tracking.
Pros: The upgrade to Rotaready is night and day when compared to manually building them on Excel. We have 70+ employees who work in different areas across the building and we prepare a separate rota for each area. Previously we were constantly checking to ensure we hadn't used the same employee twice in different areas. Then checking our holiday calendar to ensure they were available, then manually counting up their hours to ensure they got the correct amount. Rotaready handles all this for us.
Cons: It is clunky to manually add breaks and shifts if an employee forgets to do this. There is a feature to automatically deduct breaks, but for accuracy, we prefer that staff clock in and out for them.

Overall: Excellent. When setting the system up I was able to liaise with someone who took my personal requirements into account. The product felt very bespoke.
Pros: I moved over to this rota system from a rival system. It is fantastic because it integrates with my till system and allows me to plan my staffing more effectively. It is easy to use and there are never any issues with posting shifts out to staff.

"Disappointed after so much promise"
Overall: We have been using Rota Ready for 10 months. Although there is huge potential in its functionality, we have not received the benefit. Our initial set up/training was intermittent leaving us with many questions and resulting in us self-teaching the basics. On the occasions we have contested this and requested more support we are constantly told that 98% of customers are satisfied (which they revert to a lot). When pointed out that we are in the 2% of unsatisfied customers little was done to rectify the situation. When were initially considered cancellation upon obtaining our second site, we were informed that they would "make it their mission" to retain our service. The result, us being charged a further "set up fee" despite us already being a customer and an offer of further training which we should have had at the beginning plus a few links to videos and on getting the best out of the system which we should have had first time around. Yes, the videos are helpful but the customer service is missing the personal touch many new start ups require. After bringing this to their attention, we were told what they had offered was "sufficient". Personally if you are going to make it your mission to retain someones service, you may want to try a little harder than offering the basics and then charging for it. We have now made the decision to move across to another platform and see how they compare. We may be a small two site operation but it doesn't mean we require less support than the bigger guys. If anything we need more. Bare that in mind if you wish to retain your 98% satisfaction rate.

Pros: From an employee perspective, the staff are always happy with how easy it is to view their shifts and also book their holiday. From a management point of view, we've never had a service that collates both HR, payroll, holiday and rotas in one place as well as this one. We're able to draw accurate figures for our wage %s which has improved productivity immensely within the company.
Cons: Sometimes, figures vary from page to page on the site. However, after trouble shooting with he staff, there is usually a reason for it and it's fixable.

Overall: Great! We moved over from another rota system and it cut out so much work for us.
Pros: Rota Ready had a very personal approach and the support was great when we set this up. The software is great and made managing our three coffee shops much easier. The product as a whole has everything that we need.

Pros: We have many nuances and it was the only system that could cope with those and give us the functionality we wanted.
Cons: Sometimes it isn't the most obvious at telling you when things are missing to work out why something isn't working properly, but the support team are pretty fast at getting back to you.

Pros: Good profiling of business forecasting costs versus employee scheduling costs, and the integration with Lightspeed (for sales) and Tenzo (for reporting).
Cons: The employee App needs a little bit of development to meet the provisions for competitors App's - but functions well for our needs

Overall: Brilliant system that greatly enhances or business.
Pros: We like the one-screen layout of RotaReady to see where the team are. It's intuitive to use for blocking unavailability, tracking attendance, approving overtime and budgeting week by week against a forecast.
Cons: Team challenges using the clock in and out especially when they're new. It;s clunky to set time off as you have to go out of rota planner and into individual team areas. Also we lack some customizability ourselves as this has to be done by RR team. Also only copying from one week to the next as opposed to setting standard shifts for certain regular team (Unless I am just not up to speed on this yet)

Overall: Excellent all round software which we use in our restaurants throughout Europe. Attendance is well managed, budgeting is super simple we love the product.
Pros: Smooth and easy to use - great app functionality. The staff love it. Holidays and absence very well handled.

Pros: Easy to set up easy to use and teach people how to use very easy to navigate and find what you need. for payroll exports its really easy as you can just export the exact dates and data needed to send to accountants.
Cons: Only problem we have ever seen is we can't have one member of staff assigned to 2 sites. for example the executive chef has to be under a "covershift" which is annoying for splitting costs

Overall: I've come into the business quite late on to the integration and operational execution however, I'm starting to dig into the system and find it's technology mind-blowing.
Pros: User functionality is very easy. The team are always on hand when needed and always have the right answers! The integrations are second to none also!
Cons: I think some of the reporting could be a little bit better rather than having to download the data, maybe give options to filter better within the system itself.

Overall: We have seen benefit as we can now keep track on budgets and people management , within our restaurant branches as well as assessing critical information for HQ benefit
Pros: Integration was very straight forward , training sessions helpful and informative, the system is easy to navigate through, we had a few issues when we first started but soon got the hang of things, for the purpose of onboarding new staff members and record keeping it made our lives in HR a little easier having everything in one place and being able to access this anywhere at anytime. Live chat is a helpful tool
Cons: Doesn't have a mail merge facility function which is a shame and the document sections could be improved Rotaready could do with adding a function which would sets reminders to key expiry dates so we don't forget the important ones.

Overall: Very gratifying, more advanced then some of the original pioneers of hospitality workflow management and more affordable than some of the more recent competitors.
Pros: Apart from the ease of use, I really like the way Sales figures (Forecast/Actual) can be imported from CSV as it saves hours of time and means figures can be upated well in advance as many times as they change.
Cons: The Cost Control (and import) needs to include statiatical information as often F&B is judged on cost per cover and Housekeeping is judged on cost per room. Now that Access have Guestline, it would be nice if actaul figures were imported automatically from there.
