Excellent set up, great support team, good developing system - and meets our budget.

Pros

Good profiling of business forecasting costs versus employee scheduling costs, and the integration with Lightspeed (for sales) and Tenzo (for reporting).

Cons

The employee App needs a little bit of development to meet the provisions for competitors App's - but functions well for our needs

### "A great product supported by a great team!"

We transitioned from another rota management platform during COVID. The RotaReady team helped with making the process as smooth as possible. The team at RotaReady are always receptive to the introduction of new ideas providing a path towards bringing new features to the platform. Over the past two years, the improvements have been significant. It's worth point out that support for issues is always a must when choosing these products. I have found the RotaReady team always available to help. The chat function in particular is great, you're not just talking to a bot! It makes a big difference when they want to solve the issues as quickly as possible. Overall, a really good product that always continues to improve. The support is just as important and they do a great job of making this as easy as possible.

Pros

The team are really receptive of new processes and ideas. They look at ways to implement these and will provide a clear guideline to when these are coming. Love the chat function, the team are quick and helpful. It helps resolve issues very quickly.

Cons

The clocking in and out. When an employee leaves significantly earlier than the shift pattern suggests. The system does not flag it as an issue. Shift swapping isn't as clear as it could be. The clocking in app on the tablet still needs some work.

Pros

You can see the rota details on your phone as well as on a computer/ipad. Clocking in and out for you staff is great. Good for adjusting sales forcasts for the business.

Cons

Nothing really. I find it easy to use and when i need help theres always someone to ask.

### "Staff Rota Software and so much more "

Making changes in any company can be daunting at first but the training and support we received was second to none, and still is. \[sensitive content hidden\] at Rotaready has always been excellent at responding to any of our queries and requests. Her knowledge of the system is outstanding and I always know she will respond quickly.

Pros

The ease of building rotas is fantastic. Monitoring hours and optimizing's wage spend is a great benefit that can assist with wage cost. The payroll facility is by far the easiest and simplest system I have used, saving hours of time.

Cons

We don't really see any cons to the Rotaready system. I'm impressed by its simplicity and user friendliness.

### "Great business product to make rota'ing a breeze "

Pros

Easy to set up easy to use and teach people how to use very easy to navigate and find what you need. for payroll exports its really easy as you can just export the exact dates and data needed to send to accountants.

Cons

Only problem we have ever seen is we can't have one member of staff assigned to 2 sites. for example the executive chef has to be under a "covershift" which is annoying for splitting costs

Really good overall rotaready is definitely better then other companies offering similar products with in the same market.

Pros

The customer is clear and very helpful and the fact you speak or live chat with the same people make it easer and quicker.

Cons

As the owner email notification of holiday on senior key member would help me understand the skill level with the sites in their absence.

Pros

Keeps everything in one place. Easy to use and gives access to everyone.

Some of the features arent easy to understand to begin with but once you know what you are doing they are great.

Customer Service is exceptional. The team are very quick with their response emails. We have yet to come across an issue that cannot be solved. The team have worked tirelessly with us to get our unusual shift patterns to work within the entire company. We have definitely set some challenges for the RotaReady team, and they have come up trumps every time.

Pros

We use scheduling for our Rota's. Once we got to grips with how it works, it has been a dream to implement, maintain and manage. We use the HR function and upload all documents into folders designed for us. Swapping and changing daily rotas is as simple as click and drag. We are able to add additional pay rates to different shift patterns.

Cons

No fire role call function. User to be able to cancel holiday. The ability to amend holiday/time off without cancelling it. We have to run many different reports to get the information we require before we can run payroll, but that is our unique way of working rather than RotaReady function error.

Reason for choosing Rotaready Evo

Ease of use. Visually appealing. Able to build a shift pattern to suit.

We'd recommend checking out the 'currently clocked-in' report to export a list of staff who are currently clocked in and therefore on-site for your fire drills, along with the 'edit/review booking' option on any absence booking to make changes to your colleagues' bookings.

### "Effective Staff System"

Overall very good. Support is decent, majority of features we wanted were there.

Pros

We have many nuances and it was the only system that could cope with those and give us the functionality we wanted.

Cons

Sometimes it isn't the most obvious at telling you when things are missing to work out why something isn't working properly, but the support team are pretty fast at getting back to you.

Positive but is missing few important things.

Pros

Easy to make rota. Good support team...

Cons

Clock in from tablet takes too long. A finger print scan would be faster. There is no absences report available and we cannot write notes to remember absences details. Between signing off and approve the tronc we need to go back and forward too many times. Not all info are in the same page (rota, attendances, cost, tronc) Tronc is not always calculated so we needed to call the support several times to get the issue sorted out.

Reason for choosing Rotaready Evo

Being the first software we were buying and not being a big company we decided to go for the cheaper.

Hopefully the following will help resolve your issues: - The clocking-in page on your tablet runs off your WiFi, so moving your device closer to your router will improve your connection. Alternatively, you could allow your staff to clock-in from the Rotaready mobile app. - You can add notes when adding or responding to an absence booking: just hit "Add a note to this request" beneath the main details. There are a selection of customisable absence and allowance reports in the Reports section. - Our tronc feature is designed to be used once you've signed-off your hours for a week so the distribution of tips calculated is accurate. Just head to Tronc once you've signed-off your week to check, amend and confirm the payments. - Rotas, attendance, cost control and tronc have their own modules in Rotaready as they're all large features in their own right and are permissioned separately too. Do let us know if you have any questions, we're more than happy to help!

Pros

Very easy to use with multiple functions that supports me and my role within our business, the support is easy to access with loads of articles to help with use. The growing functions add great value to what we do on a daily basis and the use both on a laptop and mobile makes this a great service.

Cons

Nothing, any time there is an issue or query the support team a very quick to offer advice and guidance to us.

Overall the experience with RotaReady is good. Customer service is fantastic, they reply almost straight away and find the best and quickest solutions.

Pros

The ease of adding new starters, ending employments, scheduling shifts and seeing realtime clocking in and out.

Cons

Hard to get an accurate wage percentage as it doesn't integrate with our till system to pull all the information over.

The all in one hub for employee management , being able to upload documents to complete HR per employee without using a separate drive- together with Scheduling and mobile ability for employees, it's a great product for our business.

Cons

It would be good to get a notification (as the manager) when onboarding is complete - i found 6 waiting for review that i had no idea were there.

Pros

It's easy to use mainly once you know how things work, good for our rotas and payroll, holiday requests etc

Cons

I would like all employees to be able to see the Absence calendar when planning holidays but am told this is not possible without them seeing notes attached to the requests which may contain private information.

Pros

Accessible and easy to use for end users and admins alike. Good ability to send documents for signing and quite feature rich.

Cons

Couple of niggles around the currently underway consolidation of Rotaready and RotaReady HQ - RotaReady struggles with more complex integrations like Xero, especially with more complex rotas (multiple pay items, multiple pay calendars) would be ideal to have a live integration that could push new rota ready employees to xero etc rather than having to manage both in slightly different ways

I'm very happy with RotaReady - it keeps improving and the features are excellent. It really helps having everything in one place and also having less paperwork. I would especially recommend it to multi-site companies.

Pros

Having all staff documents and info in one place. Holiday accrual easily worked out. Less mistakes with wages. Easy for staff to use and request time off. Being able to see all rotas in one place and what attendance issues there are.

Cons

Unable to bulk send out documents for signing - this is being looked into though.

Positive experience so far. I'm very impressed with the speed that customer service respond to any queries.

Pros

The system is fairly intuitive. It's been a great asset to onboarding team members and keeping staff details and records in one place. Customer service online chat is brilliant and you get answers and support really fast.

Cons

In order to store all staff notes and records it takes quite a lot of effort to get the permission levels set up properly. It may be beneficial to have the option of someone having access to their direct reports rather than everyone below them on permissions.

Pros

I'm using RotaReady for about 2 years now from manager/admin position and it makes my job easier. It saved me a lot of time and money. The cost control section is great, there are all tools you need to schedule a timetable or hire new employee. Highly reccomend.

Cons

Some tools are complacated to use for the beginner, I feel like sometimes you can get confused but overwhelmed with amout of information.

### "Latest top player in Workforce Management"

Very gratifying, more advanced then some of the original pioneers of hospitality workflow management and more affordable than some of the more recent competitors.

Pros

Apart from the ease of use, I really like the way Sales figures (Forecast/Actual) can be imported from CSV as it saves hours of time and means figures can be upated well in advance as many times as they change.

Cons

The Cost Control (and import) needs to include statiatical information as often F&B is judged on cost per cover and Housekeeping is judged on cost per room. Now that Access have Guestline, it would be nice if actaul figures were imported automatically from there.

Really good, zero issues, easy to use, helpful time, cheap and does everything it is meant to do!

Pros

Very easy to set up, really helpful and knowledgeable onboarding \[sensitive content hidden\], daily operation is the simplest product I've used in the space. Rapid responses to questions.

Cons

N/A - No issues with the product at all. I would like the ability to rota freelancers in the future but this is a dev request.

Overall very happy with moving to Rota ready. The initial training was great , we thought we would have to roll the product out venue by venue but such was the level of training and support , we did it all in one go - problem free. Weekly Rota prep and management has become so easy and we are saving so much time.

Pros

Easy to use and easy on the eye , a joy to work with. The software is great for experienced and non-experienced IT users alike. Clocking in and out extremely easy for staff and the management process is very smooth. Reporting is concise and enables quick and efficient forecasting and wage cost reporting

Cons

We haven't really had any issues so far - the software is very easy to use. We had a few things that we asked them to tweak to suit our business needs , but that was super easy to do so now it fits our business model really well.
