Thanks for your review, Darren! We really appreciate your honest feedback and it's great to hear how Rotaready has enhanced your workforce management (especially for T&A!). To touch upon a couple of your other points... our cover shifts feature allows you to schedule team members across multiple sites, for visibility and reporting purposes. Employees will be able to clock-in from any site as they usually would, to ensure that the actual hours they've worked are recorded for payroll purposes. Our break policy tools allow you to define the types of breaks that should be assigned to shifts based on a customisable set of rules, like the scheduled shift length. We hear you and do have plans to enhance this feature in the future to flag scenarios whereby different breaks may be considered, for example, if someone actually works a shorter or longer shift.

### "Disappointed after so much promise"

We have been using Rota Ready for 10 months. Although there is huge potential in its functionality, we have not received the benefit. Our initial set up/training was intermittent leaving us with many questions and resulting in us self-teaching the basics. On the occasions we have contested this and requested more support we are constantly told that 98% of customers are satisfied (which they revert to a lot). When pointed out that we are in the 2% of unsatisfied customers little was done to rectify the situation. When were initially considered cancellation upon obtaining our second site, we were informed that they would "make it their mission" to retain our service. The result, us being charged a further "set up fee" despite us already being a customer and an offer of further training which we should have had at the beginning plus a few links to videos and on getting the best out of the system which we should have had first time around. Yes, the videos are helpful but the customer service is missing the personal touch many new start ups require. After bringing this to their attention, we were told what they had offered was "sufficient". Personally if you are going to make it your mission to retain someones service, you may want to try a little harder than offering the basics and then charging for it. We have now made the decision to move across to another platform and see how they compare. We may be a small two site operation but it doesn't mean we require less support than the bigger guys. If anything we need more. Bare that in mind if you wish to retain your 98% satisfaction rate.

Cons

Lack of training. Poor customer service.

As a start up, we felt the cost and functionality would be sufficient to meet our needs. Unfortunately for us, this wasn't the case.

### "Excellent Rota and time keeping solution!"

Rotaready has allowed us to automate clocking in and out and ensure accurate time reporting that can be easily imported into our payroll software to simplify the payroll process. It has also provided a benefit to employees by allowing them to swap shifts, request holidays and get quicker approval of requests and quickly receive electronic Rotas in advance.

Pros

I remember the first time, \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] from Rotaready visited us to demonstrate the product. After months of seeing various time keeping platforms, I wasn't holding out much hope. Within 30 minutes, the rest of the senior management team had joined the meeting to see the potential that Rotaready could provide! Functionality- Rotaready has some great features, Rotas being issued electronically, shift swapping features, holiday requests, shift reminders and the ability to quickly and remotely cover shifts, if someone isn't able to attend for their shift. The best feature is the ability to automatically create the week's rota based off a set of rules and the team's job roles. Support- The team are super responsive and committed to working with us to develop the functionality of the software. They have the quickest response time from any software provider I've encountered Ease of use- From a set up and employee point of view , Rotaready is extremely easy to set-up and use. Our employees really like the holiday request functions, shift swap and electronic rotas and managers are able to remotely keep track of any absence issues

Cons

If the TOIL functionality could be expanded via rules to automatically track balances that would be useful. It would also be useful to have more granular access to allow differed departmental heads to create and review their own Rota. However..... I really had to think about something I least like and we haven't found anything that we couldn't make work for us.

Rotaready by far was the most innovative product we saw, yet so intuitive and easy to use at the same time and also at a reasonable cost.

Scheduling shifts is easy, froecasting allows us to put staff where they are needed.Recording of staff hours (200 staff) with ease.Oversight of wage and sales percentages form operations level.We have recently moved our online training to a new platform who have integrated with RR with ease.

Cons

Ease of how to record sickness and lateness in real time.

Good profiling of business forecasting costs versus employee scheduling costs, and the integration with Lightspeed (for sales) and Tenzo (for reporting).

The employee App needs a little bit of development to meet the provisions for competitors App's - but functions well for our needs

We transitioned from another rota management platform during COVID. The RotaReady team helped with making the process as smooth as possible. The team at RotaReady are always receptive to the introduction of new ideas providing a path towards bringing new features to the platform. Over the past two years, the improvements have been significant. It's worth point out that support for issues is always a must when choosing these products. I have found the RotaReady team always available to help. The chat function in particular is great, you're not just talking to a bot! It makes a big difference when they want to solve the issues as quickly as possible. Overall, a really good product that always continues to improve. The support is just as important and they do a great job of making this as easy as possible.

Pros

The team are really receptive of new processes and ideas. They look at ways to implement these and will provide a clear guideline to when these are coming. Love the chat function, the team are quick and helpful. It helps resolve issues very quickly.

Cons

The clocking in and out. When an employee leaves significantly earlier than the shift pattern suggests. The system does not flag it as an issue. Shift swapping isn't as clear as it could be. The clocking in app on the tablet still needs some work.

Pros

Easy to set up easy to use and teach people how to use very easy to navigate and find what you need. for payroll exports its really easy as you can just export the exact dates and data needed to send to accountants.

Cons

Only problem we have ever seen is we can't have one member of staff assigned to 2 sites. for example the executive chef has to be under a "covershift" which is annoying for splitting costs

Really good overall rotaready is definitely better then other companies offering similar products with in the same market.

Pros

The customer is clear and very helpful and the fact you speak or live chat with the same people make it easer and quicker.

Cons

As the owner email notification of holiday on senior key member would help me understand the skill level with the sites in their absence.

Pros

They have a huge range of tools which assist in all areas of staff scheduling, rotas, clocking-in and associated payroll matters. Including great features like Asset tracking and direct links to key software, Xero etc… Staff and help assistance is best in class with immediate responses and on occasion if a feature isn’t quite right or requires adapted a hands on approach to progressing with speedy updates….

Cons

No issues with any of the features… at a push would be nice to have administrative access without having to register as staff member. However not particularly an issue.

Positive but is missing few important things.

Pros

Easy to make rota. Good support team...

Cons

Clock in from tablet takes too long. A finger print scan would be faster. There is no absences report available and we cannot write notes to remember absences details. Between signing off and approve the tronc we need to go back and forward too many times. Not all info are in the same page (rota, attendances, cost, tronc) Tronc is not always calculated so we needed to call the support several times to get the issue sorted out.

Being the first software we were buying and not being a big company we decided to go for the cheaper.

Hopefully the following will help resolve your issues: - The clocking-in page on your tablet runs off your WiFi, so moving your device closer to your router will improve your connection. Alternatively, you could allow your staff to clock-in from the Rotaready mobile app. - You can add notes when adding or responding to an absence booking: just hit "Add a note to this request" beneath the main details. There are a selection of customisable absence and allowance reports in the Reports section. - Our tronc feature is designed to be used once you've signed-off your hours for a week so the distribution of tips calculated is accurate. Just head to Tronc once you've signed-off your week to check, amend and confirm the payments. - Rotas, attendance, cost control and tronc have their own modules in Rotaready as they're all large features in their own right and are permissioned separately too. Do let us know if you have any questions, we're more than happy to help!

I like the user face, is simple and easy to access. Training new manager sis quick and that is critical for onboarding.

Cons

Lack of notifications that can be helpful to track conduct or performance. I would like to have a trigger point for absence or flatness for employees, allowing managers to complete absence reviews a lot faster without having to complete manual reports for all.

Overall it has been good. Customer Service is pretty fast when help is needed.

Pros

It's easy to use mainly once you know how things work, good for our rotas and payroll, holiday requests etc

Cons

I would like all employees to be able to see the Absence calendar when planning holidays but am told this is not possible without them seeing notes attached to the requests which may contain private information.

### "Excellent System With a Team Who Take Feedback On Board & Develop Accordingly"

Wage Costing was a huge challenge for us, we now have full control of this and each Head of Department can see and manage their own budget and schedule accordingly. Additionally, an unexpected bonus is that Heads of Department now have easy access to all colleague telephone numbers and the ability to offer out cover shifts to the team at the touch of a button which has made a huge difference to efficiency.

Pros

We like the fact that the system is intuitive to use and that all of our information is contained in one place. Rotas are simple to create and there are different ways to do this, in order to suit varying businesses or departments. The ability to access the software remotely has also been key, giving Heads of Department the peace of mind to know that they can log in and make amendments and monitor costs when away from the business. Most of all it has given us overall control, excellent reporting detail and the ability to see who is expected where across the whole business. Payroll release has never been simpler!

Cons

The product is so simple to use, I have worked with other Time & Attendance systems which are nowhere near as simple and intuitive as RotaReady. There are some items on our wish list for future development but we've found that if you speak to the team they're always willing to consider developing new features depending on demand.

The cost was much more competitive and it did all that we needed it to do.

Positive experience so far. I'm very impressed with the speed that customer service respond to any queries.

Pros

The system is fairly intuitive. It's been a great asset to onboarding team members and keeping staff details and records in one place. Customer service online chat is brilliant and you get answers and support really fast.

Cons

In order to store all staff notes and records it takes quite a lot of effort to get the permission levels set up properly. It may be beneficial to have the option of someone having access to their direct reports rather than everyone below them on permissions.
