We started feeling like it wasn't the right fit as our center grew. We needed a more robust platform to help manage everything we needed to keep track of. They do not offer billing or individual record management and those things were important to us. Pros The support team at Kaymbu was great. They were always reachable and worked to find the solution we needed. I also liked being able to view the pictures and videos sent at a glance. Cons The app for both teachers and parents was often buggy or slow to load things. We often had to wait several minutes for pictures to load, and sometimes they would load multiple times before being able to send them. In my organizational work and in my personal life I can recommend to any one without hesitation to everyone about this app. Its knowledge base of usability, chat , messaging, sharing documentation quality, e-mail etc. Pros I mostly recommended because of the instructional aspect like a teacher . This app will rectify the do's and don'ts . Not only for organizational work I personally recommended to my kids for their GDs and class meetings. Cons Its little bit confusion of programs while using in a large number of clients at a time Reasons for choosing Kaymbu Its quiet recommended by one of my friend which works as a school teacher . Pros The many capabilities is nice. I like how a tea her can make their own Portfolios, but also use the administrator created ones. The storyboards are so easy to create and make attractive. I wish it was a bit more easy to use, in that the portfolio feature is something I use a lot, however it is not so easy to use. Cons The “tags” in the Portfolio feature are not very straightforward. The company will, however, set them up for the administrators. That saves a lot of time. I look forward to continuing to use the program which truly enhances our work as educators. Pros Kaymbu has become a wonderful resource and tool for our educators in communicating with families. Teachers are able to send moments and story boards making the learning of the individual child and the class visible. Kaymbu is very user friendly, making it easy to capture photos and document the learning. It also helps teachers to present the information professionally. Cons The group feature on photos has been challenging, especially when using the portfolio tool as it adds in photos of other children into many of the portfolios where the photos do not belong. It is also not easy to turn this feature off, which made editing portfolios take even longer. It was also problematic because the live editing would sometimes add a photo (from a group tagged photo) into a child's portfolio after it was sent to the family which would result in the family receiving a portfolio with photos of children besides their own.
