It's been really good. I have had to move members across to a new account and it was made very easy. Any problems the live chat has sorted for me. Will continue to advise others to use TeamUp.

Pros

With TeamUp everything is in one place! I can setup my timetable for booking classes, setup courses, multiple membership tiers that customers can easily upgrade to, collect payments, notify people of cancelled classes and more! In fact, there is a ton more feature that I am still yet to use!

Cons

Great value for money, all my booking needs with this system, no more losing money on no shows, like you can set a time for a cancellation cut off. Able to make membership packs.

Pros

Easy to use software, I no longer lose money with no shows, and if I have any problems, the help desk is always there.

Cons

Would like the option of 12-hour clock. And the icons on the membership accounts, with a description not just the icon.

The system is the best and I can't see myself switching to another booking app. The support is quick to respond and always very helpful. There are also new features being added all the time, which is great.

Pros

The easy to use app is not just straight forward to use for myself but also for my clients. My technophob clients tell me how easy it is to operate the app. I save hours of time with the automated messaging service. My clients appreciate the reminder for their sessions and also a thank you for the birthday message that I am able to send.

Cons

Some extra features would be great. Sending an online christmas card or season greetings messages. I would love a message to go out to members who are running low on sessions, with a reminder to book.

Overall, the TeamUp experience is fantastic. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending TeamUp to any group fitness teacher or gym owner.

Pros

TeamUp is easy for me to add classes, manage a team of teachers, and multiple venues. The App is perfect for customers as it's so easy to use. Customer service is excellent.

Cons

Some customers get confused when they try to cancel as session, as they think they are leaving the class completely, and not just for one session. I get a lot of enquiries about this.

### "Martial Arts Academy POS system"

It’s a great POS system and have enjoyed using it for our academy. Never had any issues using the system.

Pros

Automatic payments are helpful and simple registration. User friendly and easy to navigate as the manager.

Cons

Not being able to merge the family plans. And the app is easier to use than the website. Time zones were hard to adjust for making the schedule correctly.

Team up has made my life as a studio owner so so much easier, and myself and my clients love it. Shelly has been amazing and helped greatly. The customer support has been great. The calls have made all the difference to helping me get set up and understand the software properly.

Pros

How user friendly it is for me and for my customers. How it has every facility I need and more, and how it’s made my admin such a small part of my day now.

Cons

The fact it doesn’t have the Apple Pay facility, in order for people to pay on their phones without getting bank cards out etc.

### "Would not use any other booking system. "

Freed up so much admin time, tons of automation, personal notifications and our clients find it easy to use. We are really happy with it. A great system run by really lovely people.

Pros

As a studio owner of 25 years and seen staggering changes in how we run our business in all that time I am delighted to be leaving this review. Having been with Mindbody and got thoroughly fed up with constant price hikes I looked around for an alternative. We moved to Teamup in 2016 and have been with them since. The easiest switch from Mindbody to them - mainly because they have done it so often, it was seamless. Most of all its the team behind Teamup that makes this an easy decision. They have the same values of looking after their clients as we do. You don't run a studio and retain clients for years as we have managed for this long without a lot of input into client retention. Lots of great flexibility and easy to use.

Cons

There are always things that can be improved and we have the chance to comment on a wish list that others can see too and if's its a good idea or a great improvement, they make it happen.

Reason for choosing TeamUp

Talking to the on boarding team at Teamup - no brainer, they were great. No hard sell, lots of help and advice and did not pester me at any point. Interestingly years on, all of those people I spoke are still there working for Teamup. That says a lot.

### "Great booking system that saves you time!"

Very Good!

Pros

The integrations are the main reason I started to used this software. The go cardless direct debit system is integrated with this software which is something I'd been looking for and hadn't found until I came across TeamUp. The support have been great. They have been very helpful from day 1. I am not the best with technology, any questions I have are replied to quickly with useful information to help run my business more efficiently.

Cons

I think the system is clear - however, some of my retired clients struggle with the system sometimes. I think this is because they don't read the information such as terms and conditions. What frustrates me is the 31 day cancelation duration when members don't read this and cancel via gocardless (not many do this) but the team up system doesn't' realise they have cancelled their direct debit any continues to try to take the payment which is the correct thing to do but it'd be great if there was a way to prevent this or make it even more clear so they understand 31 days notice means 31 days notice. In future I think a way of paying through crypto would be great way to reduce the % charge from stripe and go cardless. An alternative to a top up would be great so members with a monthly membership can add 'ad hoc' classes to their membership for a one off fee, say £10 per class for those slightly longer months, or when they have extra time to take classes.

Very good - I'm glad my web designer found Team Up much better than using a manual spreadsheet!

Pros

This product is so easy to use. it is almost a "plug in" and use piece of software. Having said that, because of it's vast functionality (which is brilliant) it can get a bit confusing sometimes if you forget your way around the software. I do find myself going round in circles, but I get there in the end. It does everything I need it to and more. I do feel like I only use 30% of the software's capability. Every time I have needed assistance, it is easy to reach out to someone who can guide me through my problem. This is so important as the software is so vast, I sometimes need help making the most of the functions.

Cons

As I am a small business the cost is what causes me most pain. I have 15-30 active users, and feel that the entry level price of £49 is a lot for me, considering that my business is at the size where I only really need to use 50% of the whole functionality. If there was a smaller fee, which allowed a more basic functionality, perhaps at a lower scale of what is currently offered, I would be super happy. Ideally for me, as a sole trader, with no employees, I do not need the functionality for multiple teachers and embers of staff.

I find the team is obviously not end users who can't find the value in implementing the difference between "schedule" as a verb and "calendar" as a noun. As in "let's go look at the CALENDAR". and "let's SCHEDULE your lesson."

Pros

I use it because I needed something that was affordable for a small team. For the price I get my needs meet, while I have to ignore several MAJOR stumbling blocks to managing my schedule and incoming payments.

Cons

There are several things that I would change IMMEDIATELY but they seem not to be a priority so the TEAMUP team. Go figure... apparently they are not end users.When a client "purchases" a package they DON'T purchase anything. They agree to purchase/pay in the future. But the system allows them to proceed as if they have paid and purchased in real time. Later when you go back and reconcile your books you realize that lots of people hit "purchase" online but never pay.... and when they look at their account they have a full package that they PURCHASED!!! When in reality they have nothing.This is a stupid word to use as it implies a transaction of money... which actually never happens. The worst part is going back and trying to convince your clients that they owe you for something they already "purchased" and used in the past. RESERVE A PACKAGE implies a future payment. PURCHASE implies they paid.Also there NEEDS to be a option where as and ADMIN I can schedule a client that has not purchased or paid... because I AM THE OWNER/ADMIN?RECEPTIONIST/TEACHER and sometimes I schedule people over the phone that will pay when they arrive. If I assign them (again ... "purchase") a lesson package they have not paid for I then have triple duty later on to straighten the account when they actually decide to pay for a different package... or they never pay because their account says they ALREADY PURCHASED itScheduling & changing repeating classes is a pain & not intuitive

Excellent. The system reduces our admin time to less than half an hour a day. The dashboard makes it easy to identify new customers, payments going through and any issues such as failed payments too. Everything else is automated, with customers also able to buy or upgrade additional memberships too.

Pros

TeamUp is a great membership system. It is easy to set up, update and is fully automated with secure card and DD payments within the system (transactions are up front with no invoices/payments to chase). Other useful features such as trigger emails automatically welcome customers, remind them of bookings, tell customers how to get to my business. There are also great billing features that allow you to freeze memberships, automatically skip payments and take ad hoc payments too. We have tried other systems that promise much, however, have recently moved back to TeamUp as for membership management it is hard to beat..

Cons

There are no cons to using this system. Yes, there would be some nice to have additional features, however, it does the key activities REALLY well.

Reason for choosing TeamUp

The system is fully automated, with great trigger options for customer communications. It has a fantastic dashboard which allows you to assess money and customer activity for the day in less than 2 mins. There are some great billing and booking features that allow you to make changes on payments, cancellations and block bookings so that you can do it once, confident that the system will do the rest. TeamUp reduces admin to half an hour a day, allowing us to get on with coaching and business development.

I'm self employed and work prn. Having the read only feature has allowed me to put my calendar in more hands without violating privacy. They can see where I'm busy and where they can schedule me without having to call me every time. Saves everyone time and effort! I'm also involved in recreational clubs at a local and regional level, and organizing our schedule where everyone can see it, being able to interlink the clubs, pinning the link to our Facebook page, and then being able to link all of them into my personal calendar.... well, it keeps me sane! Thank you TeamUp for a great application!

Pros

For reference, I am not in any way a computer programmer. I have limited computer skills but am able to follow instructions and figure out most new applications with trial and error. I have found teamup to be very easy to set up. You can start with the very basic calendar, entering each event individually. It is easy to use on the computer or my phone, I can see events clearly, and edit them on either platform. I really like the way it looks, easy to read and pleasant to look at. Once you become more proficient, you can create recurring events, based on weekly, monthly, or as specific as the 3rd Sunday of the month. You can also subscribe to outside calendars, such as holiday calendars, team calendars, or anything that uses an icalendar feed, such as a google calendar, you only need to copy and paste the url address. And it’s a much more polished look than the original google calendars. In each Main calendar you create, you are able to make 8 sub calendars, assign different colors to each and turn them on and off as needed. What I particularly like, is it’s free to make more. Currently I have created multiple different calendars. I have a business calendar, a personal calendar, a regional club calendar, a local club calendar, and I've made more for other people and clubs to use. Within each Main calendar, I have my sub calendars. I can then choose to subscribe to the entire calendar or only a portion of it, and place into ANY of my calendars.

Cons

I would love to have a share link that will share the Titles as well as the time of events, but not the details. Currently they can only see that the time is reserved and that's all. Other than that, I love it!

I don't think about TeamUp very often, because it just works. This is exactly what I want from our booking software.

Pros

TeamUp makes your life easier, by making all tasks a bit simpler. I especially like the easy engagement from staff who are clearly trying to make the software better and working hard to listen to customers. There have been multiple upgrades in our first year of using the software.

Cons

The native app just isn't good enough and it's much easier to direct customers to use the website, even on their phones. This is the major thing holding TeamUp back right now.

I win time, i pass less time on laptop and more time with client or managing my employees My clients are happy and the boxmate add-on will be a great evolution for us and our clients.

Pros

For sure the booking mode, the API simplicity, gocardless integration (but think price could be negotiated like some other software), calendar simplicity

Cons

billing, accounting to simple, we canned information on a bill or with complete method and not so visible after all on the bill, accounting could be easier if w could download all information (table, graph, rsesume in 1 pdf and/or 1 excel/calc/numer file. the store which is to simple and the method is so long to add an order, could improve it like and restaurant app with only 1 big screen ... At this time we pay an other software for that (difference VAT for different product and billing modification, and simplicity= time winned so more time with client so better service)It could be awesome if caisseenregistreuse.fr could be synchro with teamup. appointments add-on : i tested it and not satisfy, pt reservation, and evolution/modification of the schedule is complicate and too long to fix it. Why not like the principal schedule mode?

Overall, I credit the overall success of my business model to the flexibility of TeamUp. Being able to set up the class passes, including the First Class Free, and having different pricing models for the various classes, courses, and subscriptions has been great. My clients are mostly all over 60 years old, and the fact that 95% of them find using the online registration easy...is amazing!

Pros

I love that it was able to handle both Class Passes, and courses, and monthly subscriptions. For the Class Passes, I hold the same class in different locations throughout the week, and my clients are able to attend any one. My business you would have thought was super-simple, as I'm just one instructor, but it's suprising how many 'exceptions' to my standard classes I've had to accommodate as part of my business, and mostly TeamUp has been flexible enough for me to figure out a way to set it up. For example, my First Class Free policy, that I was able to create a special single-use pass for. Something as simple as a Class Pass can be surprisingly complicated when you think about all the options....but teamUp handles pretty much everything I've needed.

Cons

The reports are pretty useless for revenue forecasting or for much real customer management. It's not possible to email a list of 'people who have ever attended my Friday class' for instance - important for when I have to cancel at the last minute, and I know that not everyone who will turn up has actually registered. Also i would love a report showing how many class passes were outstanding, so I could anticipate when people would need to be renewing. From the courses, the one feature that I've found difficult to implement is for my dance classes, where there could be a couple, or an individual. TeamUp expects one person = one admission = one price, so handling couples or multiple registrations under a single name is not possible without some creativity!

Fantastic support, wonderful application. There have been quite a few times that we couldn't figure out how to do something, the online help tool is wonderful, plus the option to send your question to TeamUp and receive a response / solution within hours has been great.

Cons

I can't think of one single item; we haven't had any problems with the app being offline, no glitches, no problems in how we use it.

Pricing, comparison of features against other platforms. We did reach out and request a demo and spent 45 minutes with a delightful TeamUp rep from the UK (at the very beginning before we made final decision). I liked that an initial Trial period was set up, so we were not locked into an annual contract from day one.

### "Great software for your gym or martial arts school"

Teamup has been one of the best decisions we’ve made and has made the friction of setting people up minimal. It has gained us lots of students and we can’t praise it enough.The team is also quick to respond to any questions.

Pros

It’s very easy to use, it has almost any feature and set up you can think of and it’s quick to use and flexible to fix when you add a new class or change an old one.The payments are easy too, to collect and set up how you want them. The memberships are easy to use and events are a cinch to set up and charge for.

Cons

Not many, only the lack of a grading system for martial arts classes, and the check ins could be nicer and easier a bit.

### "Can’t recommend it more"

Really good. Really pleased I moved over from Virtuagym. The customer service is exceptional and the price is really competitive too for a great product.

Pros

It’s just really easy to use and intuitive. It feels like it has been designed by a fitness professional who actually uses it

Cons

Nothing yet. It would be nice if I could have a separate calendar for staff to add their availability for the month ahead so I could know who is free to work which session and then allocate them

I had previously been with pushpress and they were quite good. I loved to Virtuagym because it offered a lot more including your own branded App but it didn’t provide any of this, so when I moved away I researched other products and saw a lot of positive reviews for TEAMUP

Virtuagym claimed their system done a lot more than it actually does and their customer service is absolutely awful. There are tons old glitches in the software and it’s really overly complicated. Worse decision I made going with them

Our experience using TeamUp has been very positive. The features make running a Pilates studio so much easier. The Customer service team are so helpful and responsive.

Pros

TeamUp is great. It allows us to manage class bookings, take payments, create memberships, and even manage staff, all in one place. The On demand feature is also a great added bonus and allows us to great online membership as well as studio memberships.

Cons

There’s not much I don’t like about TeamUp. I think it would be useful to allow customers to book all of there classes in one go by ticking a box. We allow our customers to book 90 days in advance so it can be quite frustrating for members to go in and out booking one class at a time

TeamUp was recommended to me by other similar businesses so I didn’t need to shop around.

### "Excellent software"

The experience with Teamup has been very good, we couldn't live without it now. I estimate it saves me at least 10 hours a week in admin, and it streamlines our financial management.

Pros

Saves me so much admin time dealing with class bookings. The implementation was very easy too and well supported throughout. You can see the creators of Teamup have experience in running this type of business as the software has all the features I need as a business owner to both streamline my admin and manage the business financially.

Cons

Nothing major I can think of. The integration with mailchimp is a little clunky and I know some customers have found the trial session widget a bit difficult to use.

Reason for choosing TeamUp

Teamup was much more fully featured and had things like pre class notifications and post class followup emails straight out of the box. It also integrates with GoCardless which we were already using. The different membership types offered us flexibility to offer other payment options and special offers too. The Zoom integration is also handy for our virtual classes.
