It's so easy to assign tasks, move them around - and see all activities at a glance. April 23, 2019 5.0 Incredible, not only does it help me manage my projects from a month to month perspective, it keeps me focused on what the daily wins are. Pros Wow! A - bravo for the team at flow completely redesigning this product for my first experience with it. It's as if they team overheard all of my frustrations with Asana and decided to solve every problem with it. Some of my favorite features; the ability to change one project back and forth between a list and board , adding start and due dates, PRICING! I am not forced into purchasing a certain number of seats and the per user price is incredibly reasonable, and the app is beautiful! President Education Management Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Atrocious Refund Policy" October 12, 2020 3.0 My biggest complaint with Flow is the refund policy---they SIMPLY WILL NOT RETURN YOUR MONEY. I lead a small non-profit and our subscription was renewed by accident after we realized we needed a more robust task management platform. I reached out to Flow for some grace but they offered nothing. Instead we lost a full year of licensing for 10 people, $954.00 in total. Pros The software is basic and easy to use. I also like that it is web-based. Cons The features, especially for tracking time are too limited and the phone app is horrible. This is not robust for handling complex project management with a team and third party contractors. Review Source cF christian F. I can select where i want to go and what I need pretty quickly and I it's not hard to find the graphics I need. I get updates whenever I'm tagged in something. Cons Tough to navigate sometimes. I find that I get lost sometimes when I click something wrong and I have to find my way back to where I was. I guess you have to use it daily to keep up with all of the updates. Cons There can be a bit of a learning curve on getting to know the software. Perhaps better learning materials could help mitigate this. I selected ASANA instead, that I liked more and has the same price. Pros They got back to me very promptly when asking information on line and over email. And I appreciate their honesty in explaining how it works. Cons That they could not delete my personal details and account. They could only deactivate it. I find it absurd that the person cannot request to have their information deleted. This may also be the case with other softwares, in which case, that is also unacceptable to me. October 30, 2018 3.0 As a writer, I think Flow works better for editors/project managers than for any other involved parties. It gives a kind of overall accountability, but doesn't add anything to my own project experience. Pros Flow makes it easy to assign tasks, add dates, and communicate on specific tasks between colleagues. Cons Aesthetics. This app is not as savvy as others regarding how to visualize tasks, progress, and what else is coming in the week/month ahead. Timelines allow you to quickly get a birds-eye view of projects. They add new features regularly and are super friendly to work with. Pros Flow has a beautiful interface, robust features, great onboarding, simple easy-to-use mobile apps, and a friendly support team to help you with anything you need. Cons It was overkill as a solo freelancer trying to track my projects. April 19, 2017 5.0 Our team has been using Flow for years and its been a great experience. Especially with the whole team using it - it's a great way to keep our remote team on the same page. We chose Flow over a few other similar apps because of the clean and beautiful design which makes using it a pleasure. I also really appreciate the default calendar view - a view which at the time we started using it other apps didn't have. The app focuses on Tasks - which makes my time using it really actionable. The recently added projects views which is a nice addition and eager to see that further develop. The one feature that I really wish it had was time tracking and the ability to schedule my day by time-boxing tasks and bringing them into my calendar for the day and week. August 15, 2017 5.0 Keeping track of everything across multiple projects is no simple task, but Flow does an excellent job. Pros Having tasks with sub-tasks is a big help for intricate and complex jobs, and having the option to chat allows us to refine ideas and avoid pollution of the tasks with needless and unintelligible discussions (like you get in Slack). Reminds me of Asana. Has a little bit more than we need but still has a really strong design. No free plan for small teams but one of the better paid options. We can all track it from any device no matter where we are, and collaborating is a breeze. Pros Task tracking is very in-depth, but at the same time intuitive. We quickly got used to the format of the tasks and were able to organize goals and assignments very easily. Cons My only complaint is the lack of integrations. A core part of our workflow involves Github, and we really would love to see the Github integration this year! I know it's on the roadmap, though, so I'm definitely looking forward to it!
