But honestly I'd hoped for more of the capabilities listed above. Pros Very user friendly. I also like that I can manage several accounts all in one place. Ability to have posts approved and clients can leave comments/notes. Cons Unable to save brand elements such as fonts, logos, colors, etc. Can't save a library of photos for each client. Their customer service sets the bar for all other companies. Shout out to Vita—she's fantastic! Pros The interface is very user friendly. Connecting social media pages is ridiculously easy! PromoRepublic has a library of pre-made templates/post ideas that are absolutely inspiring. The editor is a FANTASTIC feature. Being able to set custom dimensions and the ability to edit the pre-made templates are huge pros! Cons It would be awesome to have the ability to create a folder structure in the Saved section of the editor to help keep everything in organized and easily found. A larger selection of fonts and elements in the editor, and the ability to upload custom fonts would be nice. PromoRepublic suggests you what type of content should be posted at what time, this is hands down the best feature ever in it. Pros Insanely easy to setup and start using. Huge library of professional templates/backgrounds. Simple and quick template building Cons No recurring evergreen content promotion Nice tool but only for english-based customers. Templates and posting ideas are limited in others languages, like Portuguese, for example. Pros The best thing about PR is you can schedule unlimited posts on major Social Media platforms that include Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitter, and Linkedin. You can track analytics for each and every post so that you know which posts are performing better and which are failing majorly. On top of that, you get the PR's free huge library of free stock photos which is simply just amazing and mesmerizing to use. Cons You cannot change the color of any individual letter or alphabet. (Biggest con, I told them to implement it but I think it doesn't work yet) The other one is, you cannot create an image which gets resized automatically according to the platform. Pros The user experience is great with not-cluttered, organized user-interface which makes finding 'stuff' easy (social channels on the left). One particular feature i like is the posts ideas generation - which gives intelligent suggestions and beautiful design templates - based on public events, niche-related. I use it mainly to schedule facebook posting. It has upcoming days (children day, chocolate day.. days that I have never heard of), special occasion or topic points. All i need to do is to select what I like.. add in my logo with its image editor.. wala.. it is done.. Cons so far none that i can think of.. maybe new features are not added for existing users, you need to pay more for it. There are also several suggested posts that are definitely bordering on inappropriate for "straight-laced" businesses—and the service is definitely oriented toward a sales business. If that describes you—and you're willing to carefully check the suggested posts—this can be a valuable SAAS to include in your social media workflow. Pros The team at PromoRepublic is very active, and they seem to be continually tweaking their app and its offerings to make it more useful. I am looking forward to seeing my numbers at the end of September. Pros The app is great. I have been using it in a limited capacity for the last 2 months and now I am really getting into all of the features and it is working great for me. I didn't think I was going to use the supplied art gallery, but I have been enjoying it of late. Kate helped me out a lot in the beginning and really sold me on the service. Cons Nothing. Each time I think there is a feature I need, I find it in the software. So far it has exceeded expectations. Even the need to use my phone to post to Instagram is working out well for me to be honest. Some might not like this feature, but it works great for me. It's also really cool to have a content calendar pre-filled with interesting events we can piggy back off and quickly share updates to facebook, twitter and pinterest with. Cons We would love to see more infographics / info images in the health, and nutrition space. Also some partnership with content studio or buzzsumo would be great to get fast access to the most popular content in our industry. And I've tried quite a few. I'm definitely going to stick with this one for the long run. I love it! Pros I recently purchased PromoRepublic and it's been one of the greatest apps I've ever tried. The best thing about PromoRepublic is that it actually makes it engaging to create and schedule content for your audience. Its template library makes it very easy to find visually-appealing content which you can easily edit within its internal image editor, without the need to using an external app. Cons The only negative thing I can think of is that its template library is geared towards very generic industries (education, travelling, marketing, etc.) so it doesn't cover my needs as an English language school. Pros I love that it's a design center and social media scheduler all in one. They give you ideas on what to poast and you can edit to brand them your own colors or add pictures. Cons I really dislike the app used to publish to Instagram. I can't actually get it to publish so I have to hit the arrow to forward it to IG and then the posts just sit in my scheduled area. Cons This is not PromoRepublics fault, but we can't schedule for Instagram. Also, they do provide many useful articles to use, but wish they had more articles to fit our niche market.
