Pros: Very simple to set-up and begin using right away. My servers picked it up very quickly, which means it's very intuitive. Training is minimal because servers pick it up so quickly.

Cons: We chose not to integrate it with our POS system, but at least I know they offer the API and support when we are ready to do that.

Overall: I began using Engage after searching for a way to award points to the customers of my coffee shop. I was inspired by the Starbucks reward program and wanted something that was easy to set-up and easy to train servers how to use. I got both with Engage.

The goal of the program is generating repeat business. I decided to reward customers with a point for each visit. It has had a wonderful effect. I see more and more customers asking to give their phone number in order to receive credit for their visit. Plus, the servers find it really easy to use and have started promoting add-on sales by pointing out which items will give the customer more points on their account.

Experience taught me to use every advantage to attract coffee customers when they recognize the need. Whether it's an afternoon treat or a jolt first thing in the morning, the loyalty program is keeping my coffee shop on the top of minds of my customers.

In addition to our regular customers feeling special because of the program, I see it driving a larger share of light and medium users back to my store. That is exactly the reaction I hoped for.

Pros: Easy to use
No swipe fees
We are in total control of the money
THey have a cool online balance check

Cons: None as of yet

Overall: We happened upon Engage Value from colleagues that use it in their medical practice. We have found their sales and support staff to be helpful and readily available.

The software is very easy to setup and use and has saved us tons of money and fees over our credit card processing service.

Recommendations to other buyers: We found them to be easy to work and they support is 24/7 - pretty amazing.
