I didn’t expect making a standard spreadsheet into a functional tracking tool for our Purchase Orders would work without having to hire a whole IT department. Forms On Fire stopped us from doing all the manual stuff and the customer care and reporting is great. Maybe it’s okay since it has been keeping the Sales Team from losing all their leads all the time.

Pros

A programmer is not required to create software. I was expecting those automated bot thingies to be complete failures when generating the PDF’s but they’re actually creating them without taking down the server. My hands are cold so I’m glad you don’t have to build your own database from scratch either.

Cons

The formula they called “expressions” give me a headache because they just don’t make sense. As of today email delivery via bots only works for domain users which is frustrating.

Thank you for the great review! Email delivery via bots works for any email address (not just domain users). Please reach out to support@appenate.com, and we'll get that fixed for you right away.

At least it got us away from those busted-up Excel spreadsheets, and now everyone in the office receives the information instantly. Now the technicians will have to complete their paperwork accurately (no more submitting 1/2 done work) because they cannot save their incomplete work. By standardizing all of our processes we have reduced by hundreds, the number of errors made daily.

Pros

This is a very long review and it's been an hour since I poured myself a cup of coffee, which is now as cold as the old warehouse I am currently in. But at least I'll be able to finish this review before the coffee congeals. One major relief is that I did manage to make the conditional logic work and I haven't had the system crash on me so far.

Cons

The interface looks like it came from the Stone Age. Finding the workflow settings is literally a blind man looking for a needle in haystack. The learning curve seems to be an impenetrable cliff wall.

Response from Vendor

Hi Moiz, First off, we hope you’ve managed to get a fresh, hot cup of coffee - you certainly earned it after that marathon session! We’re thrilled to hear that the conditional logic is holding up and that moving away from those "busted-up Excel spreadsheets" has already reduced your daily errors by hundreds. That kind of impact is exactly why we do what we do. However, we don't want you feeling like you're staring down a cliff wall. With our free onboarding service from our world-class training team, you'll be doing tuck-somersaults off that cliff in no time. Feel free to book a free onboarding session at training@appenate.com. Let’s get those workflows feeling as smooth as your favorite morning brew.
